Terrible. Took over a month to "edit" our newborn photos, and then only sends 5 of them. We didn't even get to choose which ones for her to edit. She wants us to pay more. Not to mention, her "studio" consisted of us placing our newborn on the concrete floor of a damp basement. She's not professional, she's an amateur who bought a camera on Amazon. She has already been reported multiple times to local BBB - Do your research before hiring her (I wish we had): In July 2018, we booked Angel Bartlett to do newborn photos of our expected daughter. The appointment was finalized a few weeks prior to the actual appointment via email (the meeting was to take place on September 3rd 2018 at 4PM - her suggestion). We contacted her the day before to get the location of the photoshoot via email twice, sent text messages the morning of, and left her a voicemail on her main line early in the afternoon of. We had a long commute ahead of us and assumed that something came up and the appointment was cancelled. We were finally able to contact her 1 hour before via Facebook Messenger. She said "she was busy with another client", "sick", "moving", "taking care of her own three kids", and "can't respond back as quickly as everyone likes". She also indicated she did not know what time our appointment was, the gender of our baby, and what type of photoshoot we wanted. We mentioned that we just wanted our money back due to her unprofessionalism and lack of destination to receive what we paid for. She said that would not happen as she has a no-refund policy. Additionally, she said she did not have access to mobile data due to being in Mexico, NY and that is why she disregarded our email correspondence, even though she was up late the night prior posting things on social media. I also believe that her being "sick" and attending "cake smashes" (photoshoots of children's birthdays) should be regarded as negligence and she should not be infecting those with no/weak immune systems. She should have not only called and postponed with us immediately to avoid our newborn contracting illness, but she should have postponed her other clients as a well. The experience overall was awful. I went to Angel Bartlett Photography after being referred by a few family members/friends. Her work was beautiful and despite the price ($300 for a 30 min session and 10 edited pictures...or so I thought!) I gave it a go. When we arrived, her "studio" was a disaster and in a sketchy basement. Her kids, husband and dogs were upstairs, her dogs were barking (and scarring my kids!). She was NOT personalable, had a flat affect with no smiling or sense of enjoyment the entire time. I could sense she just wanted to "get it it over with". It was extremely uncomfortable for me and my husband. I paid for 2 packages that were 30 min each, she took a few shots and we were out of there in 30 min! She told me that pictures would be done and edited in 2 weeks time. Fast forward to 2 weeks (Sunday 12/2), no pictures. I messaged her on Facebook (her preferred route of communication) and she said they'd be done 12/3 (Monday). I was fine with that, 1 day was no big deal! Monday night...no pictures. Wednesday I messaged her...no response. Sunday (12/9) I messaged her again and she gives me a story how she has computer and internet issues (when she was supposed to have them done on 12/2 or 12/3) and they'd be done by Monday night. Again..Monday (12/10) morning came and no pictures. I messaged her and she said the link was complete and she would upload it ASAP. As expected, no link was uploaded. I messaged her Tuesday demanding my link, no response until 930 and night and she said she was uploading it. 2 hours later....still no link! FINALLY Wednesday morning she sends the link and I received only 8 out of 10 pictures I paid for AND they appeared to not be edited and looked like an amateur took them. $300 for 8 unedited pictures I had to wait 3.5 weeks for. Angel Bartlett was absolutely unprofessional throughout our entire experience with her. I paid $300 for a photo package when she was running a deal months ago. It was for our newborn photos, and the first year of our baby's life (through 5 sessions). A great deal I thought. We set a date for the newborn photos and Angel told me to let her know once the baby comes, if the date would still work. I immediately let her know that we had our baby in perfect timing for him to be 5 days old on our scheduled date. She didn't respond, so after two days I emailed again and called. Again, she didn't respond. The night before our session she emailed me and told me she wasn't sure if she could do the session because she lost her camera charger, and that she would let me know by noon if she could do our 2pm photo session. Noon came and went.. by 1:15 I called Angel and got her voicemail. I emailed without a response until 2:30 saying that she couldn't do it and she'd like to reschedule for 3 days later. I agreed, since we didn't have much of an option at that point. The day before that photo session Angel emailed me again, attempting to cancel! She said she double booked herself. I let her know I preferred a refund over rescheduling. She refused the refund and told me I can still have the photos taken at our rescheduled time. My husband and I went to the address she had given us, and we showed up 10 minutes early to be sure to have time to feed the baby in the car since we had a 50 minute drive to her studio. I can't make this up- the house was completely vacant. We called multiple times, of course with no answer. She finally replied to an email we sent her. She stated that she hasn't lived there in a long time and doesn't know how we got the address. Really!? She gave us her new location which was 25 minutes away from there! At this point we were obviously completely fed up, but knowing that she is refusing our refund, we insisted on getting something for all of the nonsense. Not to mention, pictures of our baby were so important to us and we really just wished for some nice pictures to be taken of him! I honestly felt like the whole experience was unreal and couldn't believe anyone would conduct business like that. As soon as I started looking into reviews, now I understand that I'm clearly not the only one. It's sad that she's swindling so many people out of their money. We will not be returning for the remainder of our sessions because it's simply not worth having to fight to have our photos taken. (We also waited over a month to get our photos back and they were truly disappointing. I requested to see the link for the rest of the photos she took but she never sent them.) After all of this I found out that the address she gave us, where we ended up having our baby's photos taken, is the home of a REGISTERED SEX OFFENDER.
