It was a little hard to find but her daughter guided me there on the phone while I was lost. Initially it was a little off putting as I thought they might not be as sanitary because the wax was dark colored. I later found out she doesn't use wax but sugar. This process reduces irritation to the skin & is less painful. In my 35 years of life, I have only been waxed once when I was 19 for a pool party. I vowed never to do it again because of all the pain & skin irritation I experienced afterwards. There was minimal pain & absolutely no skin issues after this procedures. When I reflect upon my experience here, I initially dismissed how unsanitary the room was but I feel it's worth mentioning now. I had seen all the good reviews before going, and dismissed it while I was there, and I was in and out so quickly and I was mostly hairless after, so at FIRST I was like ok well she did a good job and it was fast. However the ingrowns nightmare came for me soon after despite me doing what I always do to prevent it, and years later I'm still embarrassed by the scars it left.

I only paid for the basic pedi but it was phenomenal. The tech was gentle and through. I wanted to do something daring for Halloween but decided full set with shellac would suffice. The manicurist was fast, neat, and gentle as well. The atmosphere was quite and calming. I recommend taking your headphones and a relaxing playlist while you sit in the massage chairs. The salon was small, clean, and friendly I will definitely be returning. I hope they offer wine next time ;)

Every 2-3 month, getting a hair trim helps keep my hair at a good length and easier to manage. Sometimes cutting my hair can be a hassle for hair stylists because of the length but Lisa loves cutting my hair. We have fun conversations when I am here. She had great energy , quick, detailed, and not one piece of hair left in sight! ( and out of sight - if you catch my drift ) I've had quite a few waxes in my life - and this one was MAYBE a 4 pain level. And I know it's because Emmy is knowledgeable about what she is doing and sure of herself which also helped me relax. When I first came in the door ( I almost went past the 9 minute mark) the front desk was helping someone else and she was warm and inviting which is a great first impression to make for new and existing customers. Also there are aftercare services that they offered (paid of course) but they didn't pressure me to buy anything. Additionally, they sent home samples of different products to try.
