Warning: this is a long honest review, being someone pretty familiar with different chiropractic services. 1/ Why we're seeking a chiropractor: We moved to Vegas for work and we were having chiropractic services back in California - Our old chiro, specialized in Gonstead and Graston technique, have a very throrough examination each time. While many chiro does not have the same techniques, we still expect a throrough examination when we come here for adjustments. 2/ Booking & appointment: Booking was done through the phone and we were there at the day of the apt. on time. The front desk nurse checked us in, he made us filled some paperworks and I was taken aback a bit when I found out we were not received by Dr. Thomas but Dr. Bret, but we decided to do it anyways. The paperworks took around 20mins with different questions on your pain and your pain tolerance. We answered all the questions and were invited in a room pretty quickly. 3/ Assessment: Dr. Bret asked us to sit on the hard bed, where he does some common assessment (lift arms, leg, shoulders) and asked why I was there. I said I had lower back pain and shoulder neck pain. I brought the xrays and he picked them up instantly. He didn't have a lighting board to read the xrays but show the xrays to the ceiling lights to read it. "The other chiro took good xrays" he said to me and I said yes, we had very good examination on them but they were taken 1,5 years ago. Dr. Bret didn't say anything further on if we have to take another one, then asked me to proceed to lay down for the adjustments. TBH, this process took not even 5 minutes, he just asked what I do, do I sit all day, where do I have pain. And it seems like he didn't even read our paperwork thoroughly as well. If you're flexible then all the tests (life arms, leg, neck stretches, bending both sides, gently pressing on my back) are all very gentle and no pain at all, so of course I said I don't have any pain when he performed these tests. [Comparing to my assessment with my other chiros, the assessment is a full 15 mins of Gonstead Nervoscope going through my neck and spine to see where the nerve pain spikes, and the doctor noted the spots each time on a report card and we revised it before - after adjustments and each time we come in.] 4/ Spinal Adjustment: After 5-10mins assessment without detecting the exact spot where I have pain, Dr. Bret asked me to lay down right aways, and did 2 side adjustments, 2 lift knee adjustments, 2 necks adjustments very abruptly. [Mind you - I had different chiropractors before, and all of them perform tests and assessments veey carefully before adjusting. My other chiro put his hands on every spot of my spine], where Dr. Bret didn't ask where I was feeling tender from C1 to C5 in my neck. He just said "oh you're tight" and then abruptly adjusted me. He adjusted on my C3 instead. After the treatment in the afternoon I felt pain in my neck and the pain didn't go away. On my lower back later I found out he adjusted me and my boyfriend the same way. He didn't even put his finger to go through my spine, it's at L4-L5 where I usually have pain but he adjusted me on a different spot. We felt like the whole process was just adjust boom boom boom and then done. No asking whatsoever if I need a minute to recover from his adjustments, no asking where exactly is the spot you feel pain whatsoever. 5/ After adjustment: (muscle therapy) Finally for the last part, he said I'm going to put some muscle stimulation on you and you're good to go. He put some muscle stems(?) kinda like EMS and made me lay face down. Then he put 2 heating pads on top. 6/ Overall feeling and review: 2.5/5. While many chiropractors have different techniques, I do feel like I was rushed. My boyfriend felt the same thing too with his treatment. In and out for 15mins. Regarding the price, it was $65/person with showing your insurance provider. I'd say if you want to try out chiropractic services for an average price, yea why not check out this place. If you're looking for special area treatment, then I'd say look elsewhere. I've asked the front desk nurse if Dr. Thomas use the same technique as Dr. Bret, and he said yes they're doing the same. Therefore we would not come back here again. read more

I would give 0 stars if I could. I visited this location mainly for my husbands aching shoulder. I was able to make an appointment for myself as well for my hip. Calling to set up the appointment was pleasant. Going to the location and filling out paper work was fine as well. I saw the doctor first, he took my blood pressure and temperature and said I was fine. He said "I will help you." I was super glad to hear this as this is my first time going to a chiropractor. 5 minutes later----My husband on the other hand, did not get the same treatment. The chiropractor already had a pre determination of my husband way before he even saw him in the patient room. He is 6'3 African american male who is a little over weight from the pandemic and has high blood pressure. His primary care doctor is very aware of this condition. However, the chiropractor took it upon himself to say he will not help him because he was too warm. His temperature was 97 degrees. And he wanted to call an ambulance even though my husband did not need an ambulance. He just needed pain relief on his shoulder. Of course, his blood pressure got higher when this situation was going on due to mostly disbelief of how this "doctor" was acting and frankly just making up excuses. You should put a disclaimer that you do not have the capacity or knowledge to help someone 3 times your body size and weight. All I wanted was for my husband to get the same " I will help you" response but he didn't. I will never come back here again and I would not recommend none of my family and friends who are also taller and larger than a normal person. Unfortunately this place was all wasted time. read more

Got into a car accident in Ohio and didn't want to miss my vacation I've worked for so I had to see a chiropractor as soon as possible. Called this center and the phone was picked up on the first ring which was a good sign for me. They set me up with an early appointment and upon arrival the place was clean and the woman at the front desk was friendly and helpful. The doctor is funny, patient, gentle and provided exactly what I needed for my aching body. He also gave me a free bottle of BioFreeze which took the pain in my shoulder away! I have never been to a chiropractors office in my life. I have been suffering from mid back pain for almost 2 years (off and on) and in the past few days, my shoulder and neck has been in so much pain that it was effecting my every day movements. I had been doing research about Chiropractic doctors and what they do with the help of all the YouTube videos. To be honest, it looked INTENSE and very intimidating. But, I needed some relief and decided to take my chances. So, with much courage, I called and got an appointment the same day which was great! First off, Staff at the front was very nice and welcoming. Dr Huynh was AMAZING and right away he made me feel comfortable. He was friendly, kind and very knowledgeable. Let me just say, the pain I had walked in with was gone by the time I walked out of there! I have never heard my neck crack so loud before in my life! Lol! It was like a miracle walking out of there! I came where based on Yelp reviews and I was disappointed. I called MD Thomas after hours on Friday and he actually picked up to schedule me for an adjustment for the following Tuesday at 8am. During my appointment, MD Thomas completed a physical on my body and then asked me about my problem areas. I received muscle spasm therapy for about 10 minutes and then my adjustment afterwards, which was the best. MD Thomas was very focused on my needs. I told him about my shoulders and he provided acupressure therapy, even to my arms too. It was painful at first but my whole body is feeling great and loose now. Without insurance, my adjustment and exam was $50 but with insurance, it will be cheaper so I am looking forward to returning with insurance. read more

First of all, I would like to say, Dr. Huyhn is a lifesaver. Dr. Huyhn was kind and affable from the get-go when I came in for back spasms a month or so ago. I figured that if my pain was in my back, then perhaps a chiropractor could help. Instead of focusing solely on my back (and maybe because it was my first chiropractic appointment ever), he decided to do an all-over check to see if anything anywhere else on my body might be causing my back to overcompensate and cramp up, and we found out that I had some tender spots on my stomach even though he was barely putting any pressure. I had not noticed the pain in the first place until he pressed that particular spot. (Of course he did a spinal adjustment and made sure to use a TENS unit and some BioFreeze to help with the back pain in the meanwhile!) So, along with an x-ray for my back, I was sent to the radiologist with a request for an ultrasound for my abdomen. It turned out I had an enlarged liver and gallstones. Within a few weeks, I had scheduled doctor and surgeon appointments and have since had my gallbladder removed, at the beginning of this month. If it weren't for Dr. Huyhn, I might have ended up in the hospital for an emergency surgery, at risk for more complications than just having had a scheduled surgery that I could prep for and fast before. He caught an issue that the urgent care I go to completely overlooked. Both he and his staff are amazing and sweet people, and I'm so very glad to have made an appointment there. If you're looking for a thorough chiropractor who cares, then Angel Chiropractic Center is definitely the place to go! read more

I came here after going through the yelp reviews looking for a Chiropractor, my whole left side had been hurting me for about 3 weeks, so I was really looking for to going. He assisted me, with light touch message on my neck and shoulders with bio freeze. I was placed on electrical stimulator to promote nerve and muscle healing. He then adjusted my back and hip and then my jaw, he noticed my curve in my spin and ordered X-rays. He informed me if I get Ambetter insurance the cost would be 5-10$ instead of 60 which is still fairly priced. Great doctor friendly staff clean facility. Will return. read more

I have been to chiropractors before but Dr. Thomas Huynh is by far the best in Vegas! I had a lot of pain in my shoulder and had a stiff neck for over 2 weeks when I went to him... he treated me and explained very thoroughly what I needed to do on my part to fix the issue with my neck. I arrived the destination at 2:45, there was a paper outside the door says sorry for the inconvenience the clinic is closed..something like that. When I arrived I was greeted and treated fairly and professionally. While filling out the paperwork, the staff explained cheaper routes to my insurance and out of pocket was cheaper. I got recommended to this place by a friend. I have been having some on-going back pain for a while so I decided to give it a try. So I called and booked my appointment and they took me in the next day. Walked in and was greeted. Front desk receptionist was friendly and nice. Then I met Dr Thomas. He was awesome, was very attentive and knowledgeable. After my first visit I can feel my back felt a little more relieved from the original pain, although I did feel some soreness after but that subsided after several hours. But after a few more visits I can feel a more noticeable difference, overall my back felt much better than it did before I came here.
