It's located behind Anytime Fitness on 540A and Bartow Rd intersection- I have a membership to Anytime and the truck is almost always busy any time of day I go to the gym. Or at least a few people are there unless the weather is really bad. And it's for good reason. It's definitely a little slow because they make everything fresh, so if there's a line you'll wait a good minute for the food but it's truly worth it. Especially the street corn mix, oh my word it's creamy and a little cheeses and delectable! Everything else I've tried I have enjoyed. Their birria is the real deal. Plus, they've significantly upgraded their setup the few years I've been in that area- a nicer covered area with a few picnic tables to sit at. Their prices are also pretty decent, especially for the quality meal you get in return.

My order was done in less than 10 minutes, which was pretty good for a food truck. The fried shrimp is 6 pieces, and it's $12. For $2 more, you get a generous side of fries. The shrimp was huge and sweet. The french fries were thick and well fried, although they were overly salty. You are offered tartar sauce or cocktail sauce. I asked for just ketchup and received nothing. This is a pretty efficient food truck, and I think the prices are reasonable. The shrimp was good, although the fries were salt bombs. The rest of the menu is very crab-heavy (most items are topped with crab), which might or might not appeal to you (it didn't for my family).

Since I was going to be there for three hours, I figured I needed to nourish myself with a bit of grub first. I'm glad this was the truck that was there because it was definitely satisfying! I got the crab cake burger and it was delicious. There was a good amount of crab in it and the bun was very sturdy. I added fries on for an additional dollar. The fries were solid, but I find my true test for fries it whether I would eat them without any dipping sauce. It didn't have enough seasoning or flavor so I ended up needing ketchup. They were crispy and nicely fried though. I was surprised that adding fries was only a dollar. That's a pretty awesome deal. The workers were super friendly. Since it was hot outside I placed my order and came back five minutes later to grab the food. I would definitely eat at this food truck again!

A week later, the special was extended, so we went back and ordered it again on April 29th. Unfortunately, the sandwich was noticeably different the second time around. The consistency and texture of the steak had changed and felt more like frozen pre-sliced beef compared to the fresher, more consistent steak from our first visit. Even comparing the photos side-by-side, the difference is pretty noticeable. It was a bit of a letdown after such a strong first impression, but hopefully the restaurant can find a happy medium if they decide to bring this special back again.

The steak potato came out exactly like the menu photo and tasted exactly like the description. It was very well seasoned with no fatty steak pieces. It reminded me almost of beef stroganoff on a potato, minus the creamy sauce. The shrimp potato followed the same guidelines, beautifully plated. It tasted like shrimp scampi on a potato. Some of the seasonings were a mystery to us. The portions were enormous! We. Old have easily split one potatoe and perhaps still has some left over.
