Our American Bully Lola.
Jesse W.

We used to mark to help train our American bully. The breed is a bit on the wild side I needed some behavioral assistance. Mark was always punctual and on time and clearly communicated the training program. We did roughly 4 to 5 training sessions and more successfully able to get Lola to sit stay go down and leave it. One important walk away we learn from Mark's dog training...it is equally or if not more about changing the behavior of a human being versus the pet. Thank you Mark and we will be in contact soon from work sessions just conflicts with returning to work have a risen.

Harley practicing down.

Mark Tipton makes obedience training fun for the dog and the owner. For Mark, it's all about "redirecting" a dog's behavior and not "punishing" your pet for doing the things that come naturally. Mark is extremely patient with the owner. Admittedly I am more difficult to train than my puppy. Thank you, Mark, for helping Harley and me.

Graduation day!

Our four month old Malamute puppy (and they can be a bit stubborn) responded so well to Mark's instruction.

Personally I loved the classes, I loved the positive enforcement approach to dog training. And I loved the explanation. They made dog behavior make sense. We take our rescue puppy, Zero, to the puppy socialization classes on Tuesdays and Saturdays. He started out hiding under our chairs and after 3 weeks is starting to play with the other puppies! We're so happy with his socialization progress, especially because he has no other outlet yet while he's only partially vaccinated (puppies require 2 of 3 vaccine rounds). We're also so glad to have the trainers' help when assessing his play, Zero is our first puppy so we don't yet understand what his behavior means; Seth and Beth are incredibly helpful in interpreting what our pup is feeling! The trainers, led by Seth and Beth, give excellent lessons in obedience; they've really helped me see how "tricks" like sitting or touching are the foundation for good behavior later on like being home alone or recall. They also take time at the end of each class to make individualized recommendations, which has helped a ton with our puppy's biting. With lots of at-home practice, our puppy has learned a lot of really great behaviors; now that he's playing with other pups, he's starting to get distracted in class, but we're so thankful to have the trainers' help in redirecting him! The puppy classes are a mix of training and play with alternating 10-15 min sessions of each, which allows socialization and prevents the pups from getting bored of training. The trainers here really balance training and socialization well (which we never could have done on our own), they know just when to let our puppy play and when to give him boundaries. If you're thinking of taking your puppy here, all I can say is "DO IT!"

She was kind, dependable, incredibly detail-oriented, clean, and treated our cats as if they were her own. Your home and pets are taken care of while you are gone, now that's great service! I met the sitters that come to our home. They are kind, responsible and they enjoy our pets. You can book service for your pets through an app, or online. If you have any questions about it, Suzie is always happy to accommodate and help you with that too. The Pet Care Club of Santa Clarita has great rates! At the end of the trip, I like to give the sitters a tip for their time and gas. It's just a suggestion, not a requirement. I highly recommend this company! Suzie is warm, and her team is fantastic! Thumbs way up! Great job, PCCOSC!!!

If we could give them 10 million stars, we would! Bethany and Chris are not only the BEST dog…read moretrainers you'll ever find, they are even better people. Our two dogs, Riley and Lucy, were very anxious and very yappy corgis, so we knew we needed help. They went through their extensive training program while we were away on vacation and when we came back, they were almost unrecognizable. They learned so much and we learned even more in terms of how to better care for them, how to effectively walk them and also how to utilize the e-collars. Needless to say, they are now the best walkers and they never bark when we play fetch. Since then, we have relied on Bethany and Chris to watch our doggies occasionally and we always feel confident that they are being cared for in such a loving but controlled environment. We could not recommend Bethany and Chris enough. In fact, our dogs are doing another board and train later this summer just for some obedience maintenance and I know they can't wait to be with them again! Thank u guys-- you've transformed our girls and our lives for the better!

This really helped with Lola's anxiety and readjustment to the new apartment. I sent Lola back for a tune-up in Fall 2020 when I started school and moved again. In March, Lola boarded at RBR while I was away for a weekend trip. Bethany worked with me on pick-up and drop-off as I live far away and have a crazy work/school schedule. Lola's e-collar and remote stopped working (at separate times) and Bethany was able to help me get them replaced. Much appreciated! Bethany and her team have been so so so amazing. I am forever grateful for their wisdom and advice. Bethany has been flexible and helpful with me through the many environmental changes I've had to go through in the past couple of years (which subsequently affected Lola). She has also been available to answer questions and concerns I have had after training. RBR's online videos are super helpful when I need reminders and extra training tips. I'm so glad my coworker told me about RBR.

I sent…read moremy 6 month old puppy to this training facility for one month because she showed rambunctious, out of control and slightly aggressive behavior. My puppy was out of control one day to the point something needed to be done and a friend recommended katana saying they were the best. They were able to take my dog right away because it was a bit of an emergency situation (as I said, she had done something shocking and very bad) which was amazing of them to make a next day opening. One month passed and I went to go pick up my dog and did the final two training sessions, and now I'm wondering why I have not done this with all of my dogs, as I have three dogs (now only one is properly trained) it was definitely worth it and I am amazed with how well-behaved my dog is and so many commands that she knows, it's incredible!! I cried tears of joy getting her back and seeing her improvement. I know I have a good dog for life now, and I can grow from this training and keep training her. I have changed as a dog owner! The other amazing thing she was there over the holidays, and they sent me the cutest Thanksgiving and Christmas photos of her all dressed up, and they also sent me videos of her being very well-behaved in public and doing commands. Now I show everyone these videos, telling them how wonderful my dog is, when a couple months ago, quite frankly, she scared me. Highly recommend!!

However, I've had consistent issues with scheduling and communication. Appointments have started late, and I've had to follow up multiple times just to book sessions. While I understood being charged for a missed appointment, I've also had to remind staff about payments and encountered difficulty getting responses--most recently calling twice without securing a booking. The training itself is strong, but the administrative side needs improvement, as it impacts the overall experience and business I hope this feedback reaches the trainer directly. Thank you for taking the time to review my concerns. Due to these multiple issues, I will be finding a new Trainer. My dog will be very sad. She very much loves her Trainer.
