    Kate's CGC class
    KP M.

Kate has been working with us training my 22 month old Aussiedoodle. And she is a different dog now! Kate's CGC classes are amazing. We've added several personal classes which helped us understand and learn how to train positively. We've trusted her 100% and followed her lead. We were grateful to work with her and super happy with the result.

Kate was very patient and offered great education when training Olive! We were easily able to take her advice home to practice. Definitely recommend for new dog owners

We got our dog right before the shutdown, so we don't know what we would have done without Kate and our weekly virtual dog training! It was something to look forward to each week and Kate did such a great job teaching over Zoom. Each week we got a new training tip and would work on it throughout the week. We have seen such huge improvements in our dog, Wally, and we can't wait to do more trainings with Kate when we can go back to meeting in person. This was so beneficial and now we feel like we're a little bit more equip to be dog parents. We highly recommend!

My husband and I have so much gratitude for this place. We adopted our dog Wilbur during the pandemic not thinking about how social distancing would affect him. He has had trouble with resource guarding, aggression and socialization. We love our pup so much but to be honest we were exhausted and not feeling very hopeful about his future or ours with him in the picture. Karma Dog Training sent Kate Hart to the rescue. She gained Wilburs trust rapidly and now he just loves her. She explained all of his behavior and gave us tools that actually work with him and he's getting better and better all the time. Every time she leaves our house we feel a sense of renewed hope and confidence and we could not be happier with her or Karma Dog Training.

This was an amazing experience for me and my Silken Windhound, Lincoln. Kate was knowledgeable and patient and obviously has a gift with dogs. I appreciated that she uses positive reinforcement as another trainer had told me, "just give me an hour with your dog wearing a pinch collar and his behavior will change." She is able to explain things simply and clearly so I was able to follow up during the week.

Absolutely loved partnering with Kate at Karma Dog Training! I was at a very high level of frustration with both of my dogs when I came to Karma. They promised they would provide me with a trainer who could help me with my dog's training needs. Kate was an absolute godsend for our family. We had so many goals for our dogs we didn't know where to begin, but she guided us through what was best based on the level our dogs were at and their level of learning. There were so many things I could not have imagined our dogs doing and to see them now is so rewarding! I have to say my husband and I debated on whether this investment would be worth it, he asked if one of the local pet store trainings would be a better option but and now even he is a believer. Thank you Kate... you have changed our lives forever and we are so grateful to you, including Max and Bandit!

If you're looking for a place where your dog will be loved like family, look no further than Dog…read moresitting by Ally I cannot say enough wonderful things about Ally and the care she gives to every dog. From the moment I met her, I could tell this wasn't just a business--it is truly her passion. She has such a kind heart, an incredible work ethic, and a genuine love for animals that you can feel immediately. My standard poodle, Chewy, goes to daycare with Ally , and when we went to Hawaii for nine days, I never once worried about him. Instead of being kept in kennels, the dogs get to live together in a comfortable home environment. They can relax on dog beds, sleep on furniture, play together, and simply be dogs. It's such a refreshing and loving alternative to traditional boarding. One thing that meant the world to me was how often Ally kept me updated. Every morning and every evening she sent me photos and updates of Chewy having fun, relaxing, and making friends. Seeing those pictures while I was away gave me complete peace of mind and allowed me to truly enjoy my vacation, knowing he was happy, safe, and loved. I also love seeing how much thought she puts into making the dogs' days special. During the hot weather, she even sets up fun water play for them, and it's obvious from every picture that the dogs are having the time of their lives. Although I've only known Ally for a short time, I genuinely admire her. She is young, hardworking, compassionate, and has built something truly special. It's rare to find someone who cares this deeply about every dog in her care. Chewy absolutely loves going there, and I wouldn't hesitate for a second to leave him with Allie again. I recommend Ally's Boarding & Daycare wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a safe, loving, and happy place for their dog. Your pup will be treated like family, and that's something you simply can't put a price on. Thank you, Ally for taking such incredible care of Chewy. We are so grateful to have found you!

I guess it's time for another update because somehow every year I become even more grateful for…read moreAlly and Travis. Lately, I've seen so many heartbreaking stories about doggy daycares: dogs getting hurt, neglected, escaping, or simply not being treated with the love they deserve. Every time I read one, my first thought is the same: thank God Nova has Ally and Travis. Nova has been coming here since he was just 6 months old. He's now about to turn 5, which means they've been part of nearly his entire life. They've watched him grow from a timid, reactive puppy into the confident, happy dog he is today. They know his quirks, his routines, what makes him nervous, what makes him excited, and they have loved every version of him along the way. As dog owners, we all know there are very few people we'd trust with our entire heart. That's what our dogs are. They're not just pets, they're family. And somehow Ally and Travis have earned a level of trust that I didn't even know was possible. I've left Nova with them for the longest periods I've ever left him with anyone, and I've never once laid awake wondering if he was okay. There has never been a moment where I questioned whether he was safe, loved, exercised, or cared for. That kind of peace is priceless, and if you're a dog parent, you know exactly what I mean. What means the most to me is that Nova makes the choice himself every single time. The second he realizes where we're going, he's beside himself with excitement. If he doesn't get to see Ally or Travis, he cries. When he does, he runs to them without looking back. As someone whose dog was once fearful of people, seeing him love someone that deeply tells me everything I need to know. Dogs don't fake trust. They don't pretend to feel safe. They either do, or they don't. Nova has never questioned whether Ally and Travis are his people. Over the years, they've been there through my work schedule, my vacations, family emergencies, and every moment in between. They have given me something I can never truly repay: the ability to go through life knowing that the biggest piece of my heart is safe. That feeling is something every dog parent hopes to find, and so few actually do. Even if life takes me somewhere else one day, if I'm ever back in town and need someone to watch Nova, there is no question where he's going. I would drive hours just to leave him with Ally and Travis because trust like this isn't replaceable. They're not just our daycare: they're part of Nova's family. If you're scrolling through reviews wondering whether this is the right place for your dog, I hope this helps. Five years later, after hundreds of drop-offs and pickups, I can say with complete confidence that choosing Ally and Travis was one of the best decisions I've ever made for Nova. They have loved him like he was their own, and I will spend the rest of his life being grateful for that.

Terrible communication & difficult person…read more I've had difficulty communicating with this dog walker, especially via text. At one point, she told me her calendar wasn't available, which was frustrating since most of us rely on our phone calendars. While she was texting me that she couldn't check it, it felt off-putting and unprofessional. It's for the safety of Dogs that she can't check her calendar. How is she able to text? I just can't figure out this part. She also told me she would call at 3 PM to confirm availability for a walk three days later but never followed up. When I reached out a few days later, she informed me she was taking a self-care day instead. While I understand the importance of self-care, the lack of communication was disappointing. Additionally, she mentioned she was extremely busy and couldn't do any walks in the morning, with the earliest availability at 2:45 PM. If you're looking for someone with more flexibility or reliability, she may not be the best fit. Then she told me she had the wrong month and actually couldn't fit me in at all so that was a nice kind of blow off. This was really quite an experience. Good luck. lol. (It's always a red flag. When someone only has five stars. I should've listened to my gut.)
