If I were to tell you that this is a dog who lunged and barked at the smallest thing--crows on the street; passing cars and trucks; people in their own yards--you wouldn't believe it. He's so much happier. Among Kim's many gifts is getting people to see that it's not just the dog that needs training, but that it's a partnership between dog and person all the way through. Usually he stays at his sitters house but she was out of town, I called bouquet kennels and they referred me to Linda's facility. I am SO glad they did. Ripper was terrified when I dropped him off, but turns out by day one he was making plenty of friends and living his best life! When I picked him up, he was estatic to see me but when we got home he pitched a huge fit (in true beagle-mix fashion) and I could tell he was mad his weekend at canine camp had ended LOL. That was followed by a very deep nap, which tells me he must have had plenty of stimulation and playtime this morning alone. He is so content and happy. Their pricing is so reasonable, Linda is very experienced, and the whole staff was very polite. I'll be bringing ripper here again for all my future trips and for day care so he can get some play time in. If you have a dog that likes the outdoors, dirt, and running around this is your spot. Molly had very low confidence, pulled terrible on leash, and couldn't settle unless everyone was sitting down. We signed agreements after the first visit. We did several months of virtual lessons learning how dogs think, work and starting basic things with her. We met for a few in person training sessions and with Lauren's guidance decided Molly would really benefit from an intensive board and train. The work Lauren accomplished with Molly in 2 weeks was amazing! We met after the 2 weeks and Lauren worked with us teaching us how to handle Molly in real life situations (the mall, Home Depot, parks). We brought home a whole different dog! We now have a well behaved girl that knows commands, can take on enjoyable walks, has confidence around people and other dogs, and is enjoying life! We can not recommend Lauren enough!
