Like a fool I let them keep going and afterwards she said I thought you'd have more acne because that's who books this service. I think that's unprofessional to say. I wanted to be ready for the summer so I thought a nice scrub and maybe some blackhead extracting would be great. Instead I left with a broken back and the three blackheads I had were still there. I bought a product too and it gave me little bumps everywhere, when I tried to return it they wouldn't take it back. I'll never go back. There's nicer places to go in my opinion. read more

I cannot recommend Angelface enough. The facials are the best in the area - the products used are so amazing for my sensitive skin that I now use the brands at home. The manicures and pedicures are also second to none. Maryann and Ly are true professionals and work not only to make a manicure look great, but they also care about nail health - no over-filing on the top to make the nails thin as many places do. I received a gift certificate for a 55 minute deep tissue massage. The masseuse was not personable, she did not listen to any of my pain issues and I did not receive what I was supposed to receive. She did what she wanted to do the way she wanted to do it. My 10 year old granddaughter gives me a harder and better massage than this lady did. Deep tissue? I think not, more like as easy as she could make it on herself, until the 55 minutes were up. This was my first spa experience since I've moved to Mahopac from NJ...and it was great!! The spa is very nice and clean. I felt very relaxed right away. My massage therapist was Bill. I opted for the 55 minutes. Bill asked if I had any problem areas and about any medical issues. The table was warm and there was soothing music on. The massage was wonderful! Every time I go to Angelface, I wonder why I don't go there more often. Everything about it is classy and first rate. The staff members are all professional and courteous. From the moment you walk in, you're treated as a guest. Everything is clean and decorated beautifully. Maryann is wonderful with mani/pedis. The facials are the best I've had. The massages are great too. I've had many different people for both and I'm always satisfied. They're not pushy with products either. (I hate that.) This is my favorite spa in Westchester county. I used to travel 45 mins to Angel Face (before I moved into the Westchester area) and it was completely worth it. I love the building, and how it has a relaxing and welcoming feel; it's not stuffy or feels pretentious. The estheticians are gentle, knowledgeable, and professional. I get my eyebrows waxed every two weeks, and I will only trust my brows to the phenomenal staff at Angel Face. Pregnant Mamas do yourself a favor and go see Paul for a prenatal massage. Their tables have a cut out for your belly so you can lay face down and it was ridiculously comfortable. I'm 26 weeks pregnant and felt so relaxed and at ease the entire time it was just divine. My pregnant friend simultaneously had a woman who did a great job but chatted the entire massage. I called today for appointment and was disappointed that I couldn't make one. Taylor did my eyebrows twice in the past 2 months and did a great job. I always pay cash and have never given them my credit card information. When I called today to make an appointment I was told that I had to give my credit card to make an appointment. In light of all of the credit card security issues and fraud, I choose not to give my credit card information to the person on the phone. (This is the first time they required this information from me when booking an appointment). The person claimed it was their policy. Too bad, because I liked the spa, but it's not MY policy to give my cc# out when I don't plan in paying with one. read more

The lady at the front desk, Lisa, is extremely helpful and kind! She does everything she can to make you an appointment. The spa is beautiful and the locker room is private and gorgeously decorated. I have been going there for years and years and have never been disappointed. After you change in the locker room, they have extremely comfortable chairs for you to sit in and wait for your appointment to begin. All of the staff are extremely nice and comforting. They are easy to talk to and are very considering about what you want specifically for your treatment. A wonderful masseuse is Julie. She listens to requests and gives great massages.
