We always just ask for her to give us her best selection, and it never fails to disappoint! The place is ran by her and she operates both the drive thru and the over the counter orders. Had breakfast at the diner next-door while passing through town so we decided to get a sweet treat after our meal. The lady behind the counter was really nice and it smelled delicious in there, just like recently baked sweet treats. It's quite small on the inside and is more of a to go type of place. They also have drive-through which we saw a few other cars doing. They have a good selection of things, but since it was later in the morning, a lot of them had already been taken. Prices are extremely fair and everything that we ordered was very fresh and very good. We ordered one of the sprinkle donuts, maple bars, and another glaze and she threw in a free donut, which was very nice. All of them were really good, but I think my favorite was the cinnamon roll. I would definitely recommend this place and will be back next time I'm in the area. The glaze donut was very fluffy and pretty, and it glistened. Not the best glazed donut I've tried, but definitely a place you should drop by. Their prices are quite cheap compared to other donut shops in general. My glazed donut and raisin roll came up to $3. They take cash and card here. This is a small mom and pop shop with a drive thru on the side. I came on a Saturday around 10:30am and there was no parking. The woman at the counter was very welcoming and nice, and even heated up my raisin roll. I can't wait to come back to try their croissants! SO SAD to say the super nice young lady who used to work the window seems to work in the back now and has been replaced with a NOT SO NICE older lady the last 3 times I've been here. I pulled up to the drive through and was looking down to get my money ready and looked up to see her just staring at me at the window!! No hello, excuse me, can I help you or anything!! This is our favorite local family owned donut spot. This place is super kid friendly. We love to bring our son here for a treat and the ladies there are always super sweet to him. I docked a star off because the lady in the front of the shop was kind of rude to me. She kept looking at me weirdly then she finally said to me " That's the first time I see a girl with a man wallet." Seriously? Why does it matter to her whether or not I have a wallet or a purse ... As long as I paid for my foods. Also, I have a lot of cards so having a wallet is just a lot easier to put my credit cards/debit in. Also, the doughnuts were completely out because the machine was down. The lady should had put a sign outside to let customers know that they are sorry there are no more doughnuts and only bagel sandwiches and drinks. Instead, I kept seeing customers come in and walking out upset, because there was absolutely no doughnuts left.... And the lady didn't even apologized for not having them. I get she was upset about the machine being down but she was also taking it out on customers by being rude to them... I hope the lady in the front isn't isn't the lady in the back mom. She might be... BTW, the lady who makes the foods in the back is extremely nice and always smiling. Great customer service from here. The doughnuts and the breakfast sandwiches are still good though. I'll still be back if I was in the area. But, seriously, the cranky old lady should be in the back packaging the foods while the nice lady (who is probably her daughter) should be in the front of the house, because she provides better customer service. If you're craving for fluffy, pillowy donuts then THIS IS THE PLACE. Since my last visit many moons ago, I've been trying different donut shops and, while some are great, I can say that this place is my new favorite especially after grabbing some goodies again. Since I arrived towards their closing time, the shop had about a dozen left or so. They didn't have the regular glazed or sugar ones so I ordered two flavors -- chocolate and peanut. One set was bar donuts and the other just regular. Well, well, well... those damn donuts were delicious. The maple bar was too sweet for me but not as sweet as others I've tried. I wish they were more generous with the peanut-topped chocolate donut but I'm willing to overlook this. Considering that they were made early in the morning, the donuts tasted fresh and soft. It was like biting into clouds. Lol. They were delightful. Lin / Lyn (the storekeeper) was sweet and friendly. Anyhoo, don't wait to visit AngelFood especially if you love donuts like I do. This was a one and done experience. This donut shop was packed. The drive thru line was long and barely moved. Not complaining because of that. Walked inside and the line to order was long too. Not even complaining because of that. By the time there was only 2 customers ahead of me, I put attention to the lady taking the order for them. She wore gloves the entire time while exchanging cash. Never replaced them after. She took the order with for the guy ahead of me with those same gloves and touched the register. By the time it was my turn to place my order, I was hoping she'd take those gloves off but she didn't. I let her know that I know she continued to touch money and never replaced her gloves so I'd appreciate if she got new gloves to grab my croissant and donut. She out the croissant she touched back in the display case. Grabbed new gloves and gave me a different croissant.
