For the brows, hmmm, as I had already gotten my brows done through microblading with another brow artist but wasn't at all satisfied, I decided to give her a try. She was extremely accommodating and easy to work with. She drew my brows perfectly and at the end, I wanted my brows little thicker and she happily fixed it for me then and there. Her work is amazing, she drew the lines very thin and your brows look very natural. (Maybe it's supposed to be like that but my previous brow artist made it look all thick and blotchy) I'm extremely happy and satisfied with the way my brows look right now, I'm just hoping it'll look okay as it fades within these next few weeks. The room has soothing ambient sounds and a nice rainbow reflection going on on the ceiling. The bed was heated - nice and cozy. I felt extremely relaxed throughout and when the treatment ended, it felt like I had just taken a luxuriously wonderful nap. Lindsay really enjoys what she does and extensively researched her field. She has developed her own products - and she is very receptive and keenly aware of her client's sensitive skin types and feedback. She focuses on natural products especially as the skincare products these days are often so focused on marketing/fads but sadly loaded with chemicals that are so harsh on our skin and cause pH imbalance. She is also just fun to talk to and cares about your overall experience, and doesn't pressure you to buy her products or book more appointments. In the beginning I had a top-notch experience. Member treats, including more lip balm than I ever needed, and many product samples, a few of which I have yet to use. Today, the member treats seem to be a thing of the past and the prices (for new members) have gone up significantly. The experience was still very good, just not quite up to the top-notch label anymore. Despite this, if you are looking for a membership based spa/salon for facials, Skoah is still one of the better deals out there. The non-member prices are higher but still somewhat competitive. The products are good quality, though to me they do seem a bit high-priced compared to others I have found that seem to work just as well. I will concede I may be a bit more budget-sensitive than the type of customer Skoah is really aiming for. The two main reasons I cancelled my membership are because I felt I was ready for a change regarding my skin care routine and the membership model didn't work for me anymore at this point in time. Those are reasons specific to me personally and probably will not apply to most people reading this.

I appreciated that my esthetician told me the benefits of the Skoah skin care line without pushing them on me. I walked away with my skin feeling baby smooth and clean. The only hesitation I have for becoming a member is that there was only a small range of facials offered. Because of my skin type I would like to have the option of more intense peels or microdermabrasion.
