This was my second time coming here, and it is just an amazing space. Both times were to attend a sound bath with meditation, and they were truly wonderful experiences and very different each time. I recently attended the winter solstice sound bath, and going into it this time, I knew what to expect. That being said, I dressed a bit warmer and extra comfy and brought additional blankets because I personally become very cold during the sound bath, especially at certain times when the sound vibrates through my body. It feels like actual icicles moving through me. I'm not normally a cold person, so it's definitely part of the experience for sure. I also love the guided meditation aspect of it. I don't think I would want to attend one without it, because it's such a nice added feature. I love that after the session, cards are given out and there's time to reflect on them. It also opens up space for any questions you might have about the experience that day, or more generally about the instruments, sound baths, or the other classes and services they offer. I'm not going to lie--the first time I did a sound bath, I actually got motion sick during it. However, the second time I didn't, which just goes to show that each experience is different for me. I feel extremely well-rested afterward, energized yet deeply relaxed. My night's sleep after is amazing--absolutely amazing--and I feel kind of reset for the week in a way that's just different. I definitely need to do these more frequently. I'm thinking maybe attending all the solstice ones would be a good way to keep things going. I went with a friend, and it was her first time as well. She also had a really great experience--similar, yet different. They also have an entire storefront. I didn't have time to go through it, but from what I glanced at while making my way into the room, they have some really cute and adorable items. I know they sell the essential oils used during class, including some of their own blends. The blend used was really nice, and I could definitely see myself going back to get one of their custom blends. Angelic Roots is literally not just a shop but an entire community. They offer so many classes, reiki, sound baths, classes to learn how to make fans, how to use the crystals in their shops and everyone is beyond friendly and I felt so comfortable there for my first community reiki. After attending a few community reiki and reiki+ gong baths I decided to take the classes offered to learn how to be a reiki practitioner. Laurie and Djuro (owners) are so welcoming and willing to help in any way that they can. Also, they have 2 locations in the market on opposite sides of the shopping area, so make sure to check out both locations. One is mostly crystals/classroom space. We come from Illinois just to go to Angelic Roots. This is one of the best crystal shops we've ever been too. The selection is awesome, so many beautiful choices and the store is laid out great, easy to look at and extremely neat and clean. I only wish we lived much closer as we'd visit much more often. The owners are out of this world, so very friendly and knowledgeable. Their staff are all friendly and knowledgeable too. Such a cute little store! I'm not that well versed in crystals :) but this store seems to have a ton of selection. Great variety of sizes and shapes of stones and a ton of cute jewelry to choose from. They resized a bracelet for me right away which was great considering I'm visiting from out of town. Great service! I only wish I lived closer to take advantage of some of the classes/workshops they put on. This will be a must every time I'm visiting! read more

Updated review! I have been waiting for the place to open in their new shop and it took a while due to Covid. The new space is very pretty. They have lots of back room space for classes and such, which is neat. I was a bit disappointed that there were not more crystal/retail space. It seemed like most of the expanded space they had was limited. They do offer some great items and the energy is good here. However, when I went it was very crowded and difficult to see much of the small store. It is still hard to find and difficult with parking. Luckily they had signs out and I remembered where they were moving from last time I went where it should be. If you are in the area, I would say definitely stop. read more

Wow! I have never met a more welcoming community of people. This shop (and their sound room a couple of doors down) are the best places to be wherever you are in your journey. Friends to be met in every class/meditation they offer, as well as every time I walk through the doors. Everyone I have met has been incredibly kind and informative, including the owners! My family became loyal customers when we met the owners at an expo and saw the way they love their business and really take into consideration the fair pricing, treatment of staff, and treatment of their customers--it makes us feel super good about supporting every time for the past two years. As I mentioned, everyone is very kind! I would specifically like to point out Amy as someone who stands out to me. Every question I've ever had for her she either already knew the answer or had an interesting conversation to build around it. She has a super accepting vibration and she is very knowledgeable.
