The instructors help create a calming yet welcoming environment for the classes offered. While there can be 30 other people in class some days, the instructors take the time to make sure every individual in class is properly doing poses and feel comfortable to push themselves. I have a limited time left in WIS and will miss Everyday Bliss! I can't get this wonderful experience anywhere else I go.

The studio is upstairs and has lockers for your things as well as plenty of equipment to borrow! Michelle was such a welcoming instructor and lead a fantastic class. I was aiming to be 10 minutes early (which would have definitely been more ideal) but I'm a disaster in the morning (maybe disaster is a bit harsh but, let's just say--I'm not a morning person). They have mats for you to borrow or you can bring your own. They also have blocks, straps, and blankets. If you go to a class you'll need all of the above. Fortunately, I met a friend there who gave me the lay of the land. I went to their Tosa Yoga Flow class, which is a great class for beginners. I'm 100% a beginner and felt quite comfortable. They also have a gentle yoga flow as well as a mellow flow + restorative, which are both also good for beginners. If you're more advanced, their strong flow class may just be for you! After getting situated with my mat and props, the class began. Our instructor was clear, kind, and inclusive. She provided judgement free alternatives to moves so that you could do what feels comfortable. After the class, they informed me that they have a deal where newbies get one month of unlimited classes for $49! Even better? My $21 that I paid for the drop in could be applied toward the newbie rate. I signed up and am looking forward to trying a variety of classes this month! Highly recommend Tosa Yoga for a lovely, restorative, inclusive yoga experience. Get to it!

Diane is kind and accommodating. She is quick to respond. I am hoping to take this special class again, but in the meantime, I am also happy to encourage everyone to step inside and find your peace. I liked it so much that I got the unlimited monthly membership and I went every other day. Hot Yoga Milwaukee is an excellent community of yogis. Every time I decide to take a class, I leave the studio with an overall wellness feeling. All my stress, anxiety, any negative thoughts go away. Both locations are great, Brookfield is my favorite because parking is more convenient. During the winter months, it can get really crowded. I always try to arrive 15-10 minutes before to get in the room and have some time to get used to the heat. It can be a little overwhelming the first couple of times, but it gets so much better after that. All instructors are different, they will add their unique touch to the class, but it is always something positive. I can honestly say that I like them all. If you are thinking about trying this place, do take advantage of the intro special, it is worth it.

My flexibility sucks and I've been told to do more stretching and yoga so this definitely fits the bill. The staff here is awesome, they are super friendly and welcoming to newcomings. Do yourself a favor and check out their First Timer notes on the website. The poses are repeated every time so you may want to google that before you go as well. As a guy I was a bit worried about feeling awkward but there were plenty of other guys attending as well. Some mornings they are super croweded so try to arrive early. Even with the high temp and and a bunch of sweaty people, the facility is super clean and doesn't have a gross smell to it.

WHYoga was great because the instructor was descriptive in the movement and title of the pose, all while maintaining a good pace. I…read morestarted visiting him due to a back injury unfortunately but have not continued to go because I enjoy it so much. He has such a different technique than I am used to-meaning that he used a much more gentle approach as opposed to digging into knots deeply and aggressively. He is absolutely still reaching the same results by doing so but it isn't painful at any time. During the thick of my back injury he incorporated a lot of stretching into the massage which was super helpful also especially to my extremely tight hip flexors. He takes many minutes before you appointment to talk through what is going on, what you are looking for, and his ideal apprach to see if it sounds good to you. Once you are on the same page and he begins he definitely still checks in and makes sure throughout you are enjoyed the massage and he says "this is your time." I can't recommend him enough - and have never felt more comfortable telling a massage therapist to change things if I don't like them (Not very assertive over here). Great guy, great massage, great technique. It is definitely worth giving a shot!
