Fast forward to today. My husband ran over something large and hard at 70 mph. Hit was so hard it popped the needle off of the speedometer in the dash. Managed to get it into see Joshua. Wasn't good news but he gave me 2 options. First was the minimum that needed to be done. Second was an additional item that really should be done. All said and done, more than I wanted to spend but I still feel he was very fair in his pricing. Been driving the van for a few days now and am very happy with the results. Plus, I have the peace of mind knowing I won't be chewing up my tires every few thousand miles. Just as a side note. I did research Cortez Car Care and discovered something amazing. They have been members of the BBB for 23 yrs this year and have not had one single complaint lodged against them in all that time. In any auto related field, especially repair/maintenance, that is a record to be very proud of. Just tells me that they are doing things right and have customer satisfaction very high on their priority list.

This was the most rudest encounter I've ever experienced and we hadn't even met yet. Just based on the phone call you can tell he is not really interested in hearing you and what you're trying to say about the problem with your vehicle he just wants to be sure he has an appointment bringing him money. He cut me off telling me " Look listen just go get this" and when I was trying to ask for clarification for the timing belt kit he hung up in my face. Then proceeded to lie and say it was an accident.. so why not call your customer back? Cause it was no accident especially with how I was cut off on the phone and he already seemed agitated. but I'm glad he showed his true colors cause that was $600 dollars that I gave to someone else who deserved it and did a fantastic job on my car. And I hope he don't come on here under my comment talking nonsense cause I have your number and you will get another piece of my mind, I promise you that. So don't comment at all just Do better. Ya know, if you're stopping by a tire shop in a small town while traveling, something probably went…read morewrong, right? What a relief to have such a great experience. There were THREE tire shops in small Winnie TX while I was there, and L&G was open the latest. Winner winner chicken dinner. I rolled up, an older dude out front motions to me to pull directly into one of the bays, and a kid (young dude) gets to work on my vehicle immediately. #winning I showed him the rock that somehow got lodged between my rim and tire, and he takes care of it in a hurry. Tire appears to hold air, but he quickly soaps down the treads as well when I ask, just in case. Wheel goes back on and he cheerfully puts my spare back in its home afterward. Last but not least, I go to pull out my wallet to pay. He waves me off - you're good, he says. What? You're good. Why? Because it didn't have a hole and didn't need to be plugged? Yep. You sure?? Yep. ...Wow. That dude earned his tip fo sho. What a wonderful experience.
