I stopped in at this location to have two brand new tubes put into two 42 inch cub cadet XT1 tires. To my surprise the charge was $30. I asked the guy why would it be that high? He said they have to get on their knees when in fact, I simply handed him two tires on the rim and two tubes. $15.00 to $20.00 maybe? $30.00? absolutely ridiculous and overcharging me just because he can! When I questioned it and complained about it, he wanted to charge me $20 instead. I gave him the $30 but that would be the last dollar he ever gets from me. I live in Winnie and I would never come back here again, and I don't recommend anyone else so either! read more

Stopped in, without calling a head, to see if they had a couple of tires or could order what I needed. They had some in stock similar to what I was looking for. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes with them moving tires from the back to the front and putting 2 new tires on the rim and back on my vehicle! Less than 30 minutes!!!! I did not get the same great service in crystal beach. He said I needed 4 new tires and would only take cash. $540 cash. Who walks around with that on them? Poor customer service. Will look elsewhere for tires even if I have to drive a ways. read more

Mr. Frasisco is so nice.. Its just that, I called him yesterday when our tire blew out on the side of the road, an he said he was sending someone, okay they came an met us 13 miles away witch was good , but they didn't have any tires are tools with them at all but a jack!!!! Told us there was nothing they can doo an let us on the side of the road with our 3 sons.. never came back!!! Thank God my uncle came with a spare we left in baytown that could hod air until we could get back to winnie to sleep until we could get tire in the am... call the local shop thus morning that everyone recommends an guest who it is!!!! Had to make a stop since there was a nail in our tire on the way from Texas to Louisiana. This was place was awesome! We were in and out in no time, they only charged $15, and we got some food at a nearby food truck! The staff members were very friendly, professional, and trustworthy. I am so thankful to this tire Shop! Driving in traffic near the exit where F&J is located when out of the blue this huge hunk of something starts being tossed around by the cars. I happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time and my back tire was completely shredded. I called F&J and without hesitation they stayed with me on the phone and told me exactly where to go to find them, super easy and super close! Once they saw my tire they knew exactly what I needed at a very fair price. I was back on the road in 15 mins! I don't live anywhere near this place so it was a HUGE relief to know I would make it home that night! Crazy thing is that when I got back on the road there were three other cars that fell victim to this road debris and they were still stuck on the side of the road, stranded and waiting for a tow truck. They should have followed me! F&J truly saved the day for me! I can't recommend them enough! read more

Made a bad experience AMAZING!! We were on I-10 WB when a black pickup pulling a trailer ran us off the road resulting in two blown tires. Thankfully we were very near the exit and able to get off the freeway and out of the path of ongoing traffic. It was close to 7PM and we had no idea where we were or how we would get help. Walked to the closest gas station/convenience store and was given the number for F.J. Tire Shop. Keep in mind it's well after 7PM and getting dark at this point. We called the number AND not only did they answer they also arranged a tow truck and sent them to pick us up. Can't remember the name of the tow company but they were equally as professional and amazing as F.J.'s. Once car was there they accessed the situation, found the right tires, installed and sent us in our way in less than 30 minutes. Best part of all they did not try to overcharge us or price gouge!!! When our RV had a flat up the highway not only did they have the right size tire, but they came out to the RV and fixed it. They had to scrap tire remains off the RV because the tire got caught up in the axle. They even showed us a faster way to get to our destination and offered to help re-hitch the RV back to the truck. These guys are my heroes, and they do their job without any expectation of a tip. They are really wonderful, and that's really rare to find when you are in the middle of no where and are in a situation where you just need to get back on the road. :) I could go on and on about how wonderful they are, but you will really only know if you are out in the middle of the road and need an angel to get you back on. read more

I have taken work trucks and personal vehicles here for years for new tires and fixes, and when I run in to someone with tire issues near Winnie, I ALWAYS send them to FJ. i HAVE USED THESE GUYS A NUMBER OF TIME WITH MIXED RESULTS. Two weeks ago I went and had them fill my mower tires with foam because I was tired of flats. They took three hours and charged me $30. Today, I go out to mow and have a FLAT and a LOW tire. Didn't know foam went flat. Watch them, they will rookeydoo you. Won't EVER use them again. read more

When we finally got off the highway, the guys asked why we didn't call because they could've fixed the whole thing on I-10 for me.
