We had our dining room chairs recovered at Angel's and are so happy with the results. The attention to detail and fit are exceptional, in my opinion. The fabric is heavier than usual and the chairs have a shaped back, adding to the difficulty. In addition, there is cording along every seam. They look better than new! With additional padding and a charge for bringing our own fabric it was bit pricey, but now that we've seen the quality and felt the comfort we are extremely satisfied. This is the second upholstery job that Angel has completed for our family. Each time there is excellent work, quality workmanship. Two years after the first job, and the quality of the upholstery job/workmanship on the two sofas and the ottoman are still in excellent prime condition. In fact one sofa he made drastic structural changes to it -- from several pictures I provided on what i liked. He made it happen. Also, his service, attitude, advice is invaluable. He gently steered me away from making bad choices. He knows about the grandkids, therefore we needed sturdy, cleanable, stain and spot resistant fabrics, that are liquid/water resistant. He took care of it all. I continually recommend him to friends and all. Today when we picked up a set of lumbar pillows as I shook his hand and said thank you, i told him "until the next time, the next job." My husband had a good response initially, but when we went to look at fabric selections the girl working the shop didn't seem to know the ends and outs without calling. We paid for samples that were suppose to take 7 to 10 days business days. After a few weeks, I finally called and she actually put the order in for the samples, then had to wait. These were suppose to be crypton fabrics, but when the samples arrived they were not crypton but chemically treated for stain resistances. Not getting our business, especially if you can't even get the front end details right. read more

I cannot say enough good things about Angel, his employees, his shop, his prices, or his work. I would (and will) hire him again without hesitation! We had two expensive wing-back chairs from Restoration Hardware that had aged really badly. (The chair frames were fine, but after only 6 years, the cushions were sagging, and the fabric was horribly faded, in spite of never having been in direct sunlight in any of our homes.) We reached out to Angel, who quickly got back to him with a quote for labor. We went out to Angel's shop on a Saturday morning to look at fabric samples, which was a fantastic experience. There were several customers in the shop, and he was incredibly patient and helpful with each group. Never once made us feel rushed and answered all of my questions and offered advice. Was also incredibly accommodating and organized when we told him that we wanted to go home and crunch some numbers in our household budget before we committed to having the work done. We left with a full quote, and he noted the fabric we'd chosen, which meant that when we gave him the go-ahead a few days later, he was ready to roll right away! Pick-up was quick and professional, and we had our chairs back in three weeks! (Drop-off was exactly the same caliber.) Let me tell you, they are GORGEOUS. They are easily more beautiful now than the day they were delivered new, and I couldn't be happier with the way they turned out. My biggest worry when we'd thought about having the chairs recovered was that it would damage the exposed wood trim, but there's not a nick, dent, or scratch. You'd think the fabric was applied with pure magic. So happy with my experience with this company and HIGHLY recommend them. read more

Fantastic workmanship! I called Angel's because my sister had used them before and their workmanship was excellent. I knew they would do a great job with my chair - and it wouldn't be easy either. Both the sides and the back of my chair was leather that I wanted to keep - I only wanted to replace the fabric on front, tops of the arms and the cushion. I was a little apprehensive because another upholstery company told me it couldn't be done. Angel said he could do it but there would be a little up charge - I was ok with that. Great service and craftsmanship! I bought some fabric in Morocco to reupholster a 19th-century chair and some antique dining chairs we had that were badly in need of a refresh. Angel and his team did a fantastic job. Angel helped me discuss what needed to be done (my first reupholstery). They were able to add new foam backing to the chair, and they also were able to build new cushions for the dining chairs sized to the sample one I brought in. Both jobs were beautifully done with expected details such as piping, symmetry, etc. The new cushions are also very comfortable. I also asked him to make some accent pillows if he had any leftover fabric, and he did with zippers and all, very appreciated. Getting a quote was simple--I texted the number and sent a photo and he responded quickly, and then the work took about 2-3 weeks. Pricing seemed very reasonable for the labor, especially considering the new foam and brand-new cushion construction. And, most importantly, service was great. Angel and his team were very friendly, calling when ready, helping to load and unload, and helping me decide exactly what needed to be done for my furniture. The sofa was fairly old and it needed new legs to make it higher And new staffing in Springs. It was absolutely flawless when they brought it back. Their work is top notch. The seams and matching fabric were beautiful. I recently acquired some beautiful vintage antique linen which was perfect for upholstery. I had a very old chair that I did the same thing web, new legs new springs staffing and then piecing this beautiful women together and upholstering the chair. He was on time, they were pleasant and professional, and the work was flawless. At the same time, I had him cover two window seat cushions for me with that same antique linen fabric.
