So much junk was accumulated throughout the 40+ years of living in the same house. We tried to pile everything in one place so it would make it easier for Angel's to pick up, but many items were too heavy, so there was junk scattered around our house from the main floor to the basement to the outside (around 6 different places in the house). Joe and Ron were on time and ready to work. We showed them everything that we would need removed, they provided a fair quote for us that we agreed on, and started to move the junk. They worked fast and were very friendly throughout the process. Many heavy items needed to be taken away including mattresses, box spring, tables, pots/pans, bookshelves, heavy boxes/bags, chairs, and more. But, they navigated our cramped place with ease. Some of the junk was very dirty and covered with dust too. After 45 minutes of non-stop work (very fast for the amount of junk we had), they had us double-check if everything was removed. We realized that our wood/metal block that we actually wanted to keep was missing. It was our fault, because we did not make it clear and had it laying close to the junk pile. But, Joe and Ron were so kind and searched for it in their truck. Unfortunately, it was buried, but they offered to drive the filled-up truck away and find it for us after they unload everything. After around half and hour they came back with the block! We were so thankful that they brought it back with a positive attitude all along and no complaints. They even apologized when it was not their fault, which shows that they really cared. We would definitely have Angel's come by and remove more junk if needed in the future. I had an excellent experience working with Pat (coordinator) as well as Joe and Julie (the removal crew), and would highly recommend them. I know they'll be who I turn to in the future and who I'll point my friends to as well. I had a bunch of old college-era furniture I needed removed in order to make way for brand new stuff, and needed to coordinate that removal with my extremely bureaucratic condo Home Owners Association and the company delivering the new furniture. Both the HOA and the delivery company threw me some curve balls, and every time an issue came up I was able to chat with Pat quickly to figure out a solution. I think I ended up rescheduling my appointment with Angel's 3-4 times in the course of a week. Every time the process was fast (~10 minutes or less to get a response) and easy (they always had time slots open). Pat's flexibility made my life a whole lot easier! The removal crew showed up when they said they would, were courteous, and hauled my stuff out faster than I'd have thought possible. They ended up charging me about 2/3 the original quote, which was a nice surprise too! The only criticism I could make was that the removal crew forgot to call me to let me know they were on their way. I ended up calling Pat to see where they were and he let me know they were about to arrive. Considering how great the the rest of the experience was, I'm guessing this was just a one-off issue. read more

I did not know I could be SO pleased with a hauling company! Who knew?! Being a DIY kind of person with pick-up truck, I did all my own hauling and never had a need for hauling services. Then 3 situations coincided: I sold the truck, started demolition work in my basement & hired a hauler off Craigslist (NOT Angel's) without consulting Yelp (cue "Jaws" music here). Bad move - very, very bad move that left me traumatized. I'll spare you the details, but will say having the hauler show up drunk & belligerent up at 10 am for the final load did not end well. He left. I still had a driveway full of junk. I went to Yelp and when I saw the word "Angel" I was compelled to call. Hallelujah! Joe & Noah went above & beyond in terms of service. I wondered later if maybe I thought they were so good compared to my traumatic experience with Drunken, Belligerent, Scary Craigslist Hauler. However, I called Angel's again a couple of weeks later and am happy to report that I, again received excellent service. Joe & Ron arrived and took care of the situation. I have had Angel's help me for two days now with junk removal for my house that I am working on getting ready to sell. Marco and Jose arrived on the first day and quickly helped me assess what needed to be done. They worked for over an hour and filled their truck full to the top. They were so efficient, fast and friendly. Marco, Joe and Ron helped the second time I called and managed to haul a GIANT rear projection TV up from my basement. They did a great job getting what seemed to be impossible tasks done for me. Along with their skill at their work, they are also incredibly friendly, kind men. I am an elderly person who is downsizing from the family home I raised all my children in. This process has been physically and emotionally draining for me. Marco took the time to talk to me about how my home probably had a lot of memories for me and all of them were very happy to help. They even did small things like carry some potting soil and a heavy box to the trunk of my car just because they wanted to help me out. Angel's is a great business with great young men working for it and I definitely recommend them for their fast and friendly service as well as how they go above and beyond with their customer service. I had a great experience with this service. I moved and downsized from a huge city apartment to a small cottage, and had collected a lot of stuff in my 7 years there. I booked online after finding them on Yelp, and got a confirmation within an hour. Day of, I had Marco and Elliot, who showed up right in the middle of the 2 hour window given, and they listened to me as I babbled about how I've never hired a service like this before, I was stressed, etc. They told me the basics, how I could pay, and I took them up the stairs to show what I needed out- a couch, a loveseat, a heavy credenza, a few small shelving units, queen mattress/box spring, and a few miscellaneous bags of junk. They sized it up, gave me the quote (it's based on volume) and got to work. All I had to do was hold the door open at the bottom of the stairs. I was impressed with their ability to get furniture around odd doorways, down difficult stairs with railings, and their good nature. They completed the job in 30 minutes, and it saved me so much stress. The quote was accurate, I was able to pay with my card right there ($4 card fee, so worth it for the ease), and I made sure to tip because they really did great work. read more

We had a terrific experience with Angel's from start to finish. We found them here on Yelp, and we're so glad we did! Easy to work with, professional and fast. We needed to have some old/broken/couldn't-fit-in-our-new-place furniture and electronics hauled away, including 2 futon mattresses--not a huge job, but more than we could handle on our own. What drew us to Angel was knowing that everything would go to its best destination, whether donated, recycled/e-cycled, or junked in the most responsible way possible, plus wanting to use a local company--and then the reviews on Yelp! When making a booking online didn't go through properly, I made a phone call and got the time slot we wanted: window of 4-6pm the next day. Easy! Ron, Joe, and Marco got here a little after 4pm, and were friendly, efficient, and expert in their work. They gave us a quote based on the size of the load, and we wrote a check. Easy! Matt & Joe were great. They were on time, quick, polite and took as much care as they could for my floors. This was not easy to do as it was pouring rain when they arrived and they parked in the alley at my request which meant they were carrying things across my muddy backyard. But, it meant fewer stairs for them to deal with and I had my Resolve carpet cleaner ready to go plus a few old towels I threw down for them to walk on. I had some rather large pieces to get rid of, with a lot of tight turns to negotiate. They communicated well with one another while moving a particularly huge chest of drawers (6 feet tall, 3 feet wide, 1.5 feet deep) cedar drawers with oak sides and drawer fronts), managing to get it through multiple doorways without dinging a one, despite the fact that the chest of drawers outweighed everyone involved. I am moving and needed to both donate new stuff and toss out an old large tv which I couldn't find anyone to accept. My son suggested Angel's and it was the BEST idea ever! Marco and Elliott came on time, were very friendly and very, very professional. I cannot say enough about my experience. Within one half hour, several boxes of donations and the tv, along with a dresser and nightstand were out of my apartment and not one ding in the wall or complaint about noise, etc. Extremely happy and the cost to take my items was so much lower than I estimated that I just cannot say enough great things about the guys here. I would highly recommend this company if you need to both donate and need items disposed of, and don't have time to do both, or a vehicle for transport. It was a fantastic experience. Collin and Matt came to where I work to pick up some junk, and they did great meeting my boss's expectations of what he wanted cleaned. They were on time, friendly, and were very customer oriented. I will be telling my boss about how great they did and will recommend my boss to keep using Angel's Junk Removal. Another thing that I liked was when they showed up, they came at a very busy time in the office and I answered the door in a hurry and kind of rushed talking to them. They were very patient and told me they would call my boss themselves to find out exactly what needed cleaned, instead of me stopping everything to call him. Used Angel's to remove a broken couch and chair. Unlike other companies, I liked that they list their prices online (based on percent of truck used), and gave me and exact quote over the phone. Price seemed reasonable. I was able to book a 2 hour window with only about 2 days notice, booking online is easy and they sent a confirmation e-mail right away. They showed up in the first hour of the window, were very friendly and professional, and had no issue coming inside my apartment to grab the furniture. Price was the same as quoted (well, actually better with the online discount). Overall I had no complaints with the service, and hopefully they're telling the truth with their 'green' claims (although I have no way to verify). read more

This is our third time working with Angel's. The team was running ahead of schedule so they called and asked if it was ok to come earlier, and said it was absolutely not a problem if this didn't work for me. Actually that was really helpful, and they arrived promptly and ready to work. I got a three person crew - Jan, Joey, Dan(?) and they got straight to it. It was a full truck load of stuff, including a heavy exercise bike as well as a sofa, two chairs, etc. The crew worked quickly and carefully to get everything out. Job well done. Marco and Christian were great. I was quoted a pick up time between 4-6, and they came at 4 p.m. on the dot. I also live in a fairly complicated building in Queen Anne that they were able to navigate without much help from me. I had Marco and Christian haul away two heavy chairs, a microwave, and a coffee table, and they took this stuff away without any muss or fuss. Plus, paying for removal was super easy (put my cc information into one of their iPhones with auto-processing for Angel's Junk Removal). Really great service. Said and Josh were super-friendly and efficient, arrived in the agreed time window, and literally all I had to do was point them to the substantial pile of junk I wanted removed, and a few minutes later it was done (along with the ex-Christmas tree, which was the reason I called Angel in the first place) with nothing further from me. Matt and Elliott were lifesavers for my husband and I who both had bum backs. They came in and quickly hauled away our old latex queen mattress, ancient sofa, and a pile of other bric-a-brac.
