I have only used junk removal services I got through groupons in the past, and Angels was even cheaper than those deals! Especially nice is that you can book online and you don't have to deal with calling a bunch of companies for estimates. They show their prices next to 1-800-junk and I probably saved nearly $100 over their competitor. I was able to book only a few days in advance, the guys showed up earlier in the 2 hour time frame and they didn't try to gouge me on truck load size for my mattresses and dresser. I was shocked to get rid of the three prices for less than $200 after tax. The best part - I felt horrible that I only had $8 to tip in cash, and apologized that it was only enough for them to grab coffee and the guys were genuinely appreciative to get a tip and seemed surprised to receive anything. It was nice to not have that awkward pressure at the end of the service to tip. Great company with professional employees. Definitely using them again and would recommend them to anyone. read more

We decided to get rid of a bunch of items this weekend and called Angel's on Saturday morning. They gave us a 2 hour window for arrival on the same day and showed up right within that timeframe with 4 guys and two trucks. We had a lot of very heavy items which needed to be moved from our deck in the backyard up a steep and slippery hill and onto the truck. The guys were good-natured and friendly. They packed items into the trucks very efficiently, which we really appreciated since they are paid by the truckload. Within an hour, the entire task was done and we didn't have to lift a finger. Such a relief! The last time we got rid of things, we rented a cargo van and took several loads to the dump. The process didn't end up costing much less than Angel's, took the better part of a day, and we were sore and crabby during the process. This was so much better! We'll definitely use them (and recommend them) if we decide to purge more "vintage" items. read more

Called yesterday to get a quote and they were able to come today, I don't have a car and was positive I was gonna end up spending a small fortune to get my stuff (a full sized mattress, arm chair and old wood desk) to the dump when I called they were able to give me an estimate and then book right away. Erwin and Noah can not just right on time but a little early (they called to check that was ok first) looked at everything confirmed the price and then carried the stuff out and they were in and out in 15 minutes. We have used Angel's Junk Removal three times since mid-July, and will definitely use them again. José and Terry are friendly, polite, extremely efficient, and will brainstorm solutions to issues rather than just saying "No, we can't do that". We recently bought a house and are doing extensive remodeling. In July we rented a truck (which took two hours to process at the pick-up time, and another hour when we returned it - despite ordering it online), we spent 90 mins filling the truck, and another hour emptying it at the North Transit Center. So it took us 5.5 hours out of day. It cost only $200 more than the truck rental price and fee at the NTC to have Angel's Junk Removal crew come over the remove a full load. Today it took José and Terry less than an hour to fill their truck - they don't waste a second.
