ANGELS' REST RETREAT CENTER I think Angels' Rest Retreat and Conference Center, owned and operated by Jennifer Paris, is an absolutely gorgeous spot to book your next meditation retreat, family reunion, corporate team building weekend, or your wedding. It's located in Leyden, Massachusetts. There are many lovely guest rooms to accommodate groups large and small. And I can assure you; even the most discerning of retreat-goers will find the rooms clean, comfortable, and relaxing! Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are prepared and served beautifully...and may even be the highlight of your stay! Delicious and healthy food is expertly prepared by a very talented chef and an efficient and friendly staff. There's a large swimming pool nestled amongst the lush landscaping and two Jacuzzis; all three overlooking the impressive Leyden hills. There are hiking trails nearby, some very easy to navigate, some a little more challenging. There's a fireplace in the large, but cozy, main house where guests can spend some time reading, knitting, chit-chatting, or meditating. And, I must say, the views, at every turn, are exceptional! Also, it's my opinion that, perhaps, the biggest reason that Angels' Rest is so successful is because of Jennifer Paris herself. I found her to be a warm, down-to-earth, and spiritually inclined woman...with a great sense of humor and a special gift for making people feel comfortable and welcome. Angel's Rest Retreat is the absolute best location for events for group events and family getaways. Everything is clean, organized and detail oriented for the best recreation, relaxing and dinning experience . Jennifer, the owner and the staff , are so hospitable, caring AND their organic nearly gourmet dinning experience made breakfast, lunch, dinner incredibly sumptuous and delectible and unforgettable. The facility is super clean and organized with great attention to detail, such as seasonally fresh flowers at the tables. Angel's Rest has done an outstanding job of caring for the various food needs of our crowd for many years now. The accommodations are cozy and comfortable. The staff is gracious and competent. I just returned from a weekend retreat at Angels' Rest and I can's say enough good things about it! The food is beyond compare - five stars PLUS . . . just amazing.
