I reluctantly agreed because it is an awkward situation but it left me feeling a bit uneasy. After remodeling our backyard we needed everything washed down and cleaned up and again my contractor basically introduced us to the owner and his crew. To my knowledge they did not use any chemicals, soaps or degreasers. The entire process took roughly 3 hours and after they were finished everything dried real nice. The issue turned out to be a simple fix, and he didn't charge for the trip out, which we really appreciated. He was also very patient in helping talk through my concerns before the visit and explaining everything in a clear, helpful way, which made learning a new system much less stressful. We don't expect off-hours responses or no charge follow-ups for an issue they didn't cause (even for an easy fix), but it reflects the level of care we personally experienced with this wonderful company. I guess if you have a high pressure washer nozzle, you can do this yourself. But something about someone coming every month with their mobile, custom-fitted, brand-wrapped vehicle that makes you feel that they can do a better job at $8.75 a can per month. There's also a faint citrus scent that they put into the water as a finisher. They give you a reminder call the day before, but Villa Park is always the 4th Fri of the month.

My kids had seen trash bin cleaning trucks on TV and were so excited to finally see one in person. We spent the morning waiting for the truck to arrive, and they kept asking when it would get here. It never did. There was no phone call, no text, and no email letting us know they weren't coming. I tried calling, but their office was closed on Saturdays, so there was no way to reach anyone. I completely understand that schedules change and unexpected issues come up, but a complete no-show with zero communication is extremely unprofessional. It's now Tuesday, and I still haven't heard a single word from the company. No explanation, no apology, no attempt to reschedule, and no refund. From my perspective, they took my payment and disappeared. The trash bins still needed to be cleaned, but what disappointed me most was having to explain to my excited kids why the truck they had been looking forward to never showed up. If communication and reliability matter to you, my experience with Clean A Can was very disappointing.

For the condo clean, Jazmin came with a team of 3 additional employees as it required a carpet clean as well as cleaning two bathrooms, two bedrooms and the kitchen/living room. Jazmin finished under the estimated time she gave and charged me a little less since the work wasn't as extensive as needed. I also appreciated that Jazmin was super helpful in answering a question after the cleaning was done as well. When I reached out to express my concerns, I wasn't looking for an argument--I simply wanted the quality of work I paid for to be acknowledged. Instead, I was told I never requested a deep cleaning. I went back and provided screenshots showing that I did request a deep cleaning from the beginning. Rather than taking responsibility or offering a reasonable resolution, I was told that the two cleaners sent were their "best cleaners" and that there just wasn't enough time. My issue isn't with the cleaners personally--it's that if a deep cleaning couldn't be completed in the time scheduled, that should have been communicated upfront instead of leaving the job incomplete. I would have appreciated accountability and a solution rather than excuses. Based on my experience, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I have cleaned my bathrooms claiming false information. That I haven't . Took them 2 hours to do 2 showers. I should have stayed and watched what was being done with the time. I said it had not been professionally cleaned in that time, which is very different. My bathrooms and kitchen have been cleaned regularly by me. Suggesting my home went five years without being cleaned is simply not true. I also specifically requested a deep cleaning of my kitchen and two bathrooms before booking the appointment. If two cleaners could not complete that work in the scheduled time, that should have been communicated before or during the appointment--not after the service was finished and paid for. My disappointment is not that my home wasn't made perfect in two hours. It's that there were still obvious areas with visible buildup and grime left behind, as shown in the photos I uploaded immediately after the service. Those photos were taken after the cleaners left and accurately reflect the quality of the work I received. Rather than acknowledging the areas that were missed or offering a reasonable resolution, your response places the blame on my home while including statements that are not accurate. I believe future customers deserve to know both my experience and the company's response so they can make an informed decision. This response addresses the specific claim about "five years," reinforces that you requested a deep cleaning, and stays professional while highlighting the lack of accountability.
