Capt John assured us that his GPS coordinates would take us to the best fishing spots in the Gulf and he was correct. Capt John told us stories of him out to sea hunting lobsters, tuna, and big water monsters when all of a sudden, we hooked a monster of our own. Boat was very clean, plenty of supplies, and it was nice to have AC on board during the day. Sunset in the Gulf off of St Pete was spectacular. Very reasonably priced and the ease of having all of the equipment and bait on board made the day. Well, actually, what made the day was my son and I enjoying a fantastic day on the water together. We met right at the ramp and headed out promptly at the scheduled time. Wind and water conditions weren't ideal, but he was able to get us into calmer areas and put us on the fish. We were able to catch a variety of different species like snook, trout, shark and snapper. We even ended up taking a cooler full home! While we were bending our rods and pulling fish out left and right, we did see other charter boats around, but it seemed like we were the only one catching anything.
