We took this tour on a whim while walking around John's Pass, and we are so glad we did! Collin and Kirsten were amazing guides, and his boating skills are unreal! He turned that huge pontoon around in a small canal after we followed a dolphin in to watch it splash around. Kirsten was very knowledgeable about the dolphins and answered all our questions. They knew just where to go to find the dolphins! I highly recommend this tour!

I decided for my 40th birthday to take a sunset boat cruise and I am glad to have worked with this company. The staff from check in to disembark were amazing and friendly. We rode the smaller boat for dolphin quest and it was great being on the ocean at sunset. We even got to see many dolphins. There are alcoholic beverages on board for a very cheap price which is great. My friends and I had a really great time and it was a relaxing yet beautiful way to kick off my bday night. I highly recommend working with this company as they were amazing to work with throughout my entire process of booking and my birthday boat ride was special.

Everything about this experience was amazing, if you are looking for something budget friendly to do with your family definitely check out this company. The staff at the ticket booth to the captain and his assistant on the boat were all so friendly and knowledgeable. We got to see soo much dolphin activity on the sunset cruise even though it was definitely a chilly day out. On the boat there were drinks, snacks a bathroom and because it was so cold outside they provided blankets you could use onboard (it was literally life saving we were unprepared).

Kirsten and Captain Mike were great. They imparted a lot of knowledge about dolphins. The ride was very gentle and the weather was great. We saw plenty of dolphin families and got lots of information on them all. Kirsten knew the names and markings of them all! Lots of fun for the whole family. Don't forget your ones for the tip jar. ;D

This is something I do recommend. Steve is the boat captain, and Grace was our narrator and also our waitress. They offer drinks pop to alcohol. Grace will come get your card and hold on to it until you are returning back to your dock. Then she will give it back. It's because she will run your tab at one time so don't go asking her for your card! They were both awesome. We saw plenty of dolphins. It was almost 2 hr ride. Our boat was not full. There were available seats in the middle. But we did ride on a Monday at noon. read more

My friends and I had the best time on this tour! We did it on a day that the weather wasn't really warm enough for the beach or pool and I'm so happy we were able to do this. We saw lots of dolphins, including a mom and baby dolphin (3 weeks old). The guide provided the best information. Both educational and informative. Oh, yes, there is the sunset. What a beautiful way to finish a cruise. Priced right, drinks and snacks available, comfortable padded seating, a crew that really is the best of the best, great value. We will be back. Fabulous 90 min cruise around boca ciega, we must've seen 40+ dolphins, several jumping around us. Our guides were wonderful. Book on board showing the different dolphins identified by their dorsal fins which was fun to read about. Beers and other drinks on board for $4! One dolphin fully breached about 6 feet from the boat which our captain said is incredibly rare- so cool! read more

Took the dolphin quest tour today. It was amazing. The Captain got us a dolphin sighting within minutes of leaving the dock. The first mate did a great job telling us about dolphin life. The dolphin pod we came across wa quite active and kept us all amused. We definitely recommend this tour if you near Madeira Beach on the gulf coast. read more

Great little boat. We saw plenty of dolphins! Good prices as well. The captain was awesome and knowledgable. So was his skipper! They offer beer and wine, some snacks, for a price. Its about 25.00 for adults 19.99 for kids up to 20! Cheaper for young ones Under 2 is free. We bought our tickets online, and checked in 20 min before. It lasted 90 minutes. read more

Great day on the water. Saw a large pod of dolphins with babies. They were very playful; seemed as interested in boat as we were in them! Captain and first mate were informative and entertaining. Beverages (adult, too) were cols and very reasonably priced. Enjoyed the Boca Ciega Bay tour of Millionaire's Row. Groupon makes this an inexpensive family day if fun and nature. Plenty of parking in garage. Shopping and dining at John's Pass is always good. read more

The check in gentleman was a bit unfriendly and angry in his delivery of orders- but perhaps he had good reason. Just not the most friendly start the day. All of what he said was likely valid, it was just the angry tone in delivery that felt off. All and all, I would definitely book again if we come back to the area!

They provided a cooler with ice and water as well as numerous floats and shelling bags. The whole experience was relaxing and refreshing. Our captain for the day was Jordan and she was Spectacular with keeping us on time and showing us around. We did a 4 hour boat tour but were able to have time on the slide and visit two islands. Our kids were especially excited about snorkeling and finding seas shells but when we arrived at Shell Key island, it was so crowded that the boat wasn't able to dock anywhere. The captain took us to a different location, but the snorkeling there was very poor, and we were only able to stay about 45 minutes because our time was almost up. Wow! What an experience! We took a 9am tour to Shell Key on Cap'n Dalton's boat. Dalton provided expert commentary about the area, even pointing out a few celebrity homes and yachts along the way. It was a gorgeous ride over to Shell Key, and we even saw a few dolphins along the way. Once on the island, we had about 45-50 minutes to explore the beaches and do a little snorkeling and shell-hunting. The island is aptly named, with rows and piles of shells along its white, sandy beaches. The water was warm and perfect for swimming. Soon enough we were back on board and heading back to the harbor. And that's when the magic happened: dolphins! Following along in our wake, and no doubt attracted to the enthusiastic squeals of one of our dolphin-loving fellow passengers, the dolphins put on quite a show. Even Dalton, who I assume sees a LOT of dolphins, was impressed by how long they followed in our wake and performed jumps and flips for us. We were looking for a fun and special way to end our team trip to Florida and Dolphin Quest was an absolute dream. Our game schedule made it very messy to plan but Gina was an angel, going above and beyond to work with all of our complications. She not only made sure our trip happened but she made sure it was just pefect. The whole crew was awesome and we sure did see a lot of dolphins! It was so smooth and easy-- truly relaxing. We did the pirate cruise with this company with our 7 year old son and 3 year old daughter. It was a great experience for all of us! The kids loved the water gun fights, stories and searching for treasure. The crew does an outstanding job keeping them entertained for the hour and a half you are out riding. We pre-booked a 4pm trip for 8 adults, then realized 2pm would work better the day of the trip. They were perfectly accommodating for our large group. We saw a ton of dolphins, and learned a lot about some of the quirky things in the area. Drinks were reasonably priced.
