This review is for a Sunset sail with 7 people including a 10 and 11 year old. This is my third sunset charter with Sailing Florida over the last couple of years; it's a great activity for family and friends when they visit Florida. Every sail has been memorable. This past Sunday we took out Still Dreaming, a beautiful 46 foot Beneteau for the roughly 3 hour, post Xmas, sail in Tampa Bay. All of the Captains have been excellent and Captain Rob continued that tradition. Short briefing for the adults and he took a little extra time with several grade schoolers who needed an extra bit of maritime instruction before they were allowed run of the ship. These boats are just immaculate! Sodas and water are supplied but you can bring your all your favorite provisions. Plenty of photo ops just let the Captain know what you want. The boats have blue tooth so bring you own tunes as well.

We have some jet skis at home that we ride on the lake and the guys really wanted to try it in the ocean. Although the guys wanted to rent and free style on the ocean we decided to do the tour. The 90 minute tour was AMAZING!!! The next time we go back to Clearwater we will DEFINITELY go back to White Knuckle and here are just a couple reasons why: 1) The team has great communication and were great with my daughter (very accommodating) 2) Our tour guide was amazing (such a pro) took pictures and videos that really captured the fun we had. 3) WE SAW DOLPHINS!! not just one but lots and the guide had a sharp eye and made sure we didn't miss anything. 4) WE SAW STINGRAYS! They are huge and it was a priceless moment for my family. 5) Went to an island, in a secret little place and hung out for a bit. This was my favorite part. 6) I'm not one that likes to "shred" on the jet ski but they were amazing in accommodating myself and the guys who likes to go fast and get crazy. Communication and education between those two and with the passengers were amazing the entire trip. From the moment we boarded, the atmosphere was fun and upbeat. The music playlist was perfect for a day on the water, and the crew (Matt and JC) kept the energy going the entire trip. The highlight, of course, was the dolphins. They showed up right on cue and put on an amazing show, swimming alongside the boat and giving everyone plenty of opportunities for photos and memories. This was a fantastic experience for all ages, and we had so much fun. We will definitely be doing it again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun outing on the water!

We booked the Dolphin Racer tour today 07/03 for our whole family. The tour lasts about 1.5 to 2…read morehours. The weather started out nice, but it became very hot as the trip continued. The dolphin sightings happened in the middle and again toward the end of the trip, for a total of about 10-20 minutes. That was definitely the highlight of the experience--our kids really loved seeing the dolphins. However, between and after the sightings, there was a lot of walking on the beach under the hot sun. The walking felt long and tiring, especially for the kids, and there was no shade. During the tour, an elderly woman also started feeling unwell due to the heat, and an ambulance was called to assist her. Overall, while seeing the dolphins was a wonderful experience, I would recommend preparing for a long amount of walking and strong sun exposure, especially for families with young children or elderly guests.
