Angle rental rents faulty equipment that doesn't even work half the time then they charge you full price just like I rented a dump trailer and it wouldn't even dump I rented a track loader and one of the tracks were messed up and his scarred up my concrete and when I said something to John the owner and he turns around and act like he just didn't care then I stated I needed his insurance company for the damage to his equipment did to my concrete because of the faulty equipment that he sells I have videos that the dump trailer won't even lift the track was half tore up and then he turns around and tells me that I have to pay an extra $400 and something dollars every time I rent something to pay for his insurance you would actually get a better deal at Nu-Way rental that's the reason why I stopped using them cuz they're a faulty equipment and their customer service is very s***** they will lie to your face and say that they're going to give you your money back and then they try to sue you read more

I called about renting a trailer and was greeted by an extremely rude officer worker who explained they had too many broken and they weren't currently renting any trailers as what is available they need for their own equipment. That's great, but update your damn website to say this and then don't be rude to people for inquiring about equipment. The website isn't even up to date to show the other location has closed either. Worst place to rent anything!! Ive had bad experience with them but this one took the CAKE!! I rented a 50 foot lift and on my way to the job site a tire blew out on the highway.. I immediately called them and they told me they where sending a "mechanic" when they showed up they sent two guys that didn't even have the right tools to take the tire off. Luckily i had my guys with me and two trucks (i own a business) well thank god WE had EVERYTHING that they needed. After (WE NOT THEM) fixed the tire (they didn't even bring the right tire) I decided to drive back to their "shop" when i got there and we explained everything to the fat dude in the office (the mechanic and I) he immediately started being defensive like i was out to get him when all I asked him for was a FULL refund for the inconvenience that me and my guys went Through And fixing THEIR tire. He continued saying that i was responsible for everything including his guys time! Are you kidding me?? First off I own over 10 trailers and i can tell you we change at least one tire a week from the weight we put on these things, its the name of the game. Things wear out,break,etc. It happens! I asked him to talk to the owner of the place after our argument and he answered me with "IM THE OWNERS SON" and i am charging you for the tire and my guys time.. He ended up charging me for the tire, their time and the minimum. When I didn't even use the stupid machine!! I ended paying $255 dollars for something that I didn't do plus my guys time not to mention my fuel. This place is joke they obviously need the money more than i do. Rode shuttle for transport to another area business. Several riders politely requested the driver wear his mask (all riders were masked). Driver refused and then yelled and swore at them as well as threatening to kick them off the shuttle over 1/2 mile from the drop off point. Driver said he was an owner of the business and so he could do whatever he wanted. Horrible customer service and a lack of basic manners. read more

On July 10th, 2017 @ 11:46 a.m. I called Ango Kernan on Page Ave.in Overland and spoke to Taylor. I asked if they carried a vinyl floor stripper. The answer was yes. I drove from St. Charles to Page Ave (22 minutes) When I arrived at 12:26 I spoke to the gentleman at the counter Dave, again reiterating the equipment I needed (a vinyl floor stripper) assured me they had it. I completed the transaction. I went to the yard to pick up the equipment. The yard worker showed me the equipment and started it. I asked him to make sure it was a vinyl floor stripper as it looked heavy for vinyl. Yes was his answer. Equipment loaded and made my way back to St. Charles. Unloaded, put the blade in (that I paid $10.00 for) and started it up. It was a beast and started chewing through down to the sub floor. I called the store at 1:25 when the person answered the phone I told them I had just rented a vinyl stripper and it was not working right. He directed me to another person. I told the next person I had rented a vinyl stripper and it was not working right and explained what it did. He advised to adjust the handles and the angle. My contractor came over at that time and asked me why the heck was I using a TILE (as in stone) stripper / remover- He has me turn it off immediately and return it. I returned to the store @ 2:55. I explained to the return desk it was the wrong equipment. I also reiterated I was very clear multiple times that I needed a vinyl stripper. She apologized and was able to offer me 10% off my rental... Really?? 10% off when I was given the wrong equipment and had to make the drive. So, I am out $54.00 for misinformation and lack of product knowledge on their part. Very poor customer service. read more

I own a food truck business. Our generator went down this, my final season. Instead of buying a new generator, we rented about once a week from Ango. The entire staff has been wonderful to work with. I have lived in Overland all my life and am very proud of this long standing, local business. I am going to miss these guys now that I am retiring. read more

I am completely fine to pay for the service I received but I don't give a dime out to something that I never used. They are closed at 5pm and I was not allowed to drop off the lifting car after 5pm. Next day when I returned, they charged me an extra day. I told them that I was not going to pay for the extra day because I did not use the machine for the extra day he put in there. The manager was telling me to charge by hours after a full day rent at the time when I signed the contract. So I was able to drop off the lifting car at 5pm yesterday which means I only need to pay for additional 4 hours which is fine with me. But I returned today they charge me $700 and I said I am going to pay for this . I did not even have time to fully explain what was going on, the cashier yelled at me and said " get the fuck out of my store" I replied "was that kind of attitude you showed to your customer". He crazily yelled at me again" if you are not paying, I will suit you and get the fuck out of store". It is our responsibility to pay for the service we received but this is something completely different. I ended up walking out of the store and will definitely call back for owner on Monday to pay for what I really owed and demand an apology from the store. read more

We rented a bucket lift from A/K and got a good tutorial on how to run it and troubleshoot problems that may arise. We had paid for the rental for the day, but the job ended up only taking a few hours instead of all day, so they refunded half the price of the rental. AND, when I told them it escaped my attention to fill it back up with gas they charged me the price of a regular gallon of gas instead of the contractual 7.00/gal. I really was impressed and plan on renting more equipment from them for other jobs. They were friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and polite. read more

These scam artists came to repair a disabled Dingo on my job site. They sent out a "mechanic" the next day. He arrived, looked, circled, scratched his head, then said, " I've only worked for these guys for a week and never on a Dingo." He began by hitting the key, which immediately made the signature, shredding starter gear sound, which I immediately made him aware of. He continued to hold the key in the START position. Within a few more second and not surprisingly, the starter made the other signature, free wheeling, over speed sound. He then realized, as I stood stunned, he'd just made the situation much worse. We weren't going to walk the machine out, under its own power now. The following day, a couple of guys showed up. I'd begged the neighbor to allow these yokels, to back a trailer into their side yard. And I removed a chain link fence. Instead of using the trailer, they somehow, drug the Dingo 50 feet on soft ground, destroying the turf. They didn't even bother to clean the sidewalk. Now the bill, I agreed to pay for the time before I called to report the machine broken. They charged me for the entire time the machine was out, the first "mechanic," the two juvenile delinquents they sent with the trailer, the "rescue," and.......the STARTER!!! I argued with the shaved head, mouth breather at the counter, who was confused and angered anytime I used a double syllable word and his sister/cousin/wife, who was a charming, dignified woman. I was unaware they'd already applied their version of the charges to my credit card. He threaten to sue me, call the credit bureau and cops. I decided it wasn't worth it fighting a moron with no sense of right and wrong. Take my money. I'll go to Home Depot. The team at THD is awesome, friendly, helpful, reasonable, and they even fix your equipment. Screw ANGO. You can't go out of business quickly enough. read more

rented a small 3 inch trencher, got it home and problems started right away , was hard to start, the handle bar kill switch did not work. Begin trenching to a depth of 12 inches, but the machine kept stopping, I found that the throttle was not connected, so I could not add power (I called the manufacturer and they said the throttle was necessary for the machine to work properly) I got about 20 feet done of the 200 I planned to do, before it just shut down completely. Took it back and explained the problem, ask for a 4 hour rate, they would have nothing to do with that, very poor customer service! read more
