Pepperoni Stromboli and Happy Bread, each come with one dipping sauce of marinara.

Was recommended Angry Italian by a couple of coworkers and let me tell you NOT DISAPPOINTED! We have been here multiple times since getting it and everytime the food has come out absolutely amazing and all for a great price. The service has been wonderful everytime, the staff is super helpful and great at recommending things if you are unsure of what to try out.

For those of us in Phoenix, we'll have to make the trip to Yuma, but it's worth making the drive for a day trip or doing an overnighter. I had the lasagna...an item that was taken off the menu but recommended by the owner (Mario) since they made some that day. It's gone now, and I savored every bite--sorry about that. Besides, a pic wouldn't do justice to the rich layers of piping hot, tender pasta sheets, slathered in hearty meat sauce and creamy béchamel and ricotta. If this is Italian comfort food, I'm all in with the way Mario's crew put this master piece on a plate. This also goes for the caprese, Cacio e pepe, margherita romana, along with the deserts like the tiramisu' de treviso, cherry cannoli siciliani, and even the bread basket is over the top. Again, apologies for the lack of photos, I will say that the visual appeal of each dish matched the flavors, so the food vanished before the thought of a photo op crossed my mind, and I savored every bite--errr, sorry about again. But if I had to make a statement describing the whole dining experience: "the gods smiled". To summarize: -Imported ingredients from Italy -Fresh vegetables -Mellow atmosphere -Service and dialog with Mario -Outstanding food Highly recommended! I'll take pictures and post them next time we dine here.

The warm atmosphere inside can't be beat, friendly staff immediately greet you amongst wine filled walls and Italian treats all around. Located inside the Quarter Master Depot (Colorado River State Historic Park) you get to dine in a historic building that has been beautifully redone to feature this Italian venue. Mario's clear goal is to bring the authentic flavors of his home to you, here in Yuma. My mom and I shared the veggie salad, caprese antipasti (comes with delicious bread) , and a slice each from the slice menu. The textures and portions were just right (no watery or oversalted dishes here!) There's a great selection of Italian wines, and they even do wine tasting events! I'll be back sooner than later.

The food is genuinely delicious and clearly made fresh--every dish tastes like it came straight from the kitchen with care and attention, not off an assembly line. It's almost a problem how many favorites there are on the menu, because choosing just one feels impossible. What really elevates the experience, though, is the service. The staff are consistently friendly, welcoming, and impressively fast without ever making you feel rushed. It strikes that perfect balance that keeps you relaxed but never waiting long for anything. The atmosphere ties it all together. There's a great vibe in the space, with music that adds energy without overpowering conversation. I treated my friend and I to a lovely lunch at Olive Garden. We arrived around 11 AM. She adores the meat spaghetti and had enough for another meal because we ordered the dinner portions. Her soup looked delicious and our waitress was friendly as she twirled the handle on the Parmesan grater for both the soup and my salad.. I'm a huge fan of eggplant Parmesan, but the carbohydrates of pasta and I are not friends. The bright waitress suggested I substitute broccoli which arrived bright and fresh perfectly seasoned. What a blessing. It encourages my heart that Yuma has such a nice selection of restaurants that are prepared to meet the needs of not merely our residence, but travelers for whom these businesses are convenient to the freeway. Yuma's going to continue to grow and when there are clean, attractive nicely decorated Restaurants with comfortable seating, providing comfort, food, something new or old standby culinary menus we all benefit. Thank you, Olive Garden for being a consistent national chain providing a business locals, can be proud of which also provides necessary jobs for the residents.
