Angus Glen CC is the biggest Community Centre in the area! Here you can find a library, swimming pool, skating rink and a Multi use gymnastic area for badminton, tennis, basketballs and other activities. Upstairs they also have a sizable activity room that uses for exercise classes and you can even rent out for banquets and other functions. It does have a nice view of a green area. Senior club has ping pong, line dancing and cards games for neighbourhood's senior to get together and have a social active life! BTW, you able to have free wifi access in the building from the signal from the library!

Great place to hang out and get work done - lots of quiet space in the library. The rink is cold - as it should be - bring a sweater.

(Especially on days of a swim meet or tournament). Pro tip: do NOT park your car at the neighbouring seemingly empty lot- it belongs to ford, and they are NOT friendly neighbours. Your car will get towed without a warning. This community centre is spacious and clean. Everything is easy to find. The gym is gigantic and stretches far beyond my eyes. The pool is 50m, worked by beautiful and hardworking lifeguards (lol just kidding, shameless plug). Both areas have plenty of seating for viewers. The hallways are large and extensive, so don't be afraid to wander around. There's also a fitness centre overlooking the pool. It's kind of small and lame but I rarely see it packed, so I guess it'd be a good idea. It's not great for lifting, but it has a lot of equipment for such a small gym. The regulars are usually older adults, trying to get some exercise in.

The parking and accessibility of it was terrible though, since the walk from the parking lot to the building is far and I can definitely imagine that being inconvenient for some people or even just during the winter season with all the snow and slush. The inside is very airy and spacious with tons of natural light. The building is also brand new now, so all the facilities are great!

I was always able to take public transit there or get my parents to drive me. It's a large park to have a stroll, picnic or to play in the playground. It was a lot of fun being there. I would be surprised and forget how big it was just cause I didn't always have the opportunity to explore the park. Also, I remember a time where people were able to fly kites till it was banned. I don't know if they still do fireworks. For a time, the park would arrange fireworks on Canada Day and a lot of people would attend. During events like this, people would park at the Alton Towers plaza, walked or transit there because parking was limited. Local high school students would do their volunteer hours at the community center on the park. I think they need to apply online through the main city website (if memory serves me correctly).

Some decent hills for toboganning in the winter too! Nice shady areas and a number of gazebos availble for private picnics (must reserve spot with city to obtain permit). People there at all times of the day even on weekdays but never felt like its too crowded. Plenty of space for all to enjoy. Lots of parking. Ice cream truck is often in the lot by the playground selling the usual overpriced items. There is a washroom onsite.
