We took advantage of the Wednesday special last night. My husband and grandson each ordered the chicken fried steak. It was delicious; cooked perfectly! The rib eye CFS was served with fresh green beans and mashed potatoes which were excellent. My husband and I shared a wedge salad which I was told is prepared as the original recipe calls for...the lettuce was grilled lightly which was new to me but quite good. I had chicken scallopini! The chicken was great and the pasta was so good! All in all we had a lovely meal! I forgot to mention the $7.00 per glass pinot noir! Very nice wine and the price was even nicer!! read more

We've been to Angus Grill several times for dinner, and every visit has been outstanding. We've tried almost everything on the menu, and every dish has been excellent. We've also had the pleasure of attending two of their wine tasting dinner events, where they served special menu items not normally available. The venison enchiladas were absolutely incredible--one of the best dishes we've ever had! If you're looking for consistently amazing food and a memorable dining experience, Angus Grill is a must-visit. read more

We really wanted to try their Saturday night special but after a hard day on the farm, we were beat. I called and they accept carry out orders! We had the chopped steak special with mashed potatoes and green beans. We can honestly say it was the best chopped steak we've ever had ! The mushrooms on the steak were tasty as well. I've wanted to try this place since it opened. Mind you, I've waited until the next day to give this review which I usually give my reviews before I leave. First impression. A nice place, kinda fancy, the chairs being metal looked uncomfortable, I sat in the 'booth' side of a table. Staff was friendly and attentive. Friday night. Busy but not too busy. I ordered the 12oz Ribeye ($45), cooked rare with Creamed Spinach and Blistered Asparagus. The sides were good, I enjoyed those. Yet, my plate didn't get turned loose of yet when I was already disappointed in the steak and informed the waitress as such. I'm expecting a small thick steak. I received a large thin steak, no thicker than my little pinky, approx 1/4 inch. Thin steaks are not steaks to me. They cooked another steak, no extra charge. It also was big & thin. I got to keep both and brought one home. The second was a bit bland in flavor/seasoning. I visited with the chef. I was told I could request a thick steak but I don't feel that should be a request, it should be a given for a steakhouse. I also found out that my steak was cooked in a skillet, which given the thinness, I could see why being that I ordered it rare. Yet, I can cook a steak in a skillet at home much cheaper. It was not a $45 meal. A day later & I'm still disappointed. The chef & I visited for nearly 30 minutes. The topic: food, cultural cuisines, flavor, spice, etc. I enjoyed the visit. I do try to give places another chance but in doing so, I'd try different menu items. If I were to return here, It's unlikely that I'd order steak again. I gave 3 stars because they tried to fix the situation. read more

This time, we sat at the bar. Tried the cheeseburger which came with fries. And had the Korean BBQ ribs. Both were excellent. I have to give kudos to the bartender, Adeline. She made good recommendations. And, she crafted a cocktail specifically for one of by taking a few moments to ask key questions. The co-owner checked in with us as well. Wow! I can't say enough about the food and service. Last night we had the Calamari and Shrimp appetizer. Fantastic batter and it was a huge portion. The short ribs are a must try. Very rich - fall apart meat, a teeny bit of spice in a very rich sauce. The Brussels were slightly undercooked for my preference but still edible. The ribeyes were cooked perfectly. Mashed potatoes flavorful and the mushrooms are a great side option with the steak. Steak came with a gravy-like au-jus on the side with tons of flavor. Molten chocolate cake well worth the calories. Came back tonight for the rigatoni. As recommended we ordered extra sauce. Omg. You HAVE to get here and try their house made fresh pasta dishes. We were recognized and greeted as family tonight after our first visit being yesterday. Chef came to make sure the food was to our liking and took time to chat with us. This place is a throw back to small-town steakhouse era of a family-run place with impeccable service. Make sure you come early, grab a drink in the bar with Adeline and ask her for a hot toddy with brandy. She makes a mean drink. If you want a more casual atmosphere, you can have dinner in the bar with great music, some off menu items and amazing conversation. Can't wait to come back!!! read more

We have been told that our favorite waitress, Stephanie is only working on Friday and Saturday. We are very dissappointed to say the least. She seemed to be the glue that holds the place together. Will have to consider where to take clients in the future. read more

The moment we walked in; you could tell it was complete chaos! The hostess didn't have a clue about how to handle a crowd! It took us 40 minutes for table and another 60 minutes for our FOOD! As we decided we're done; they were bringing our meals; which we told them too late we're done! We talked to the manager as well before we left and he never offered anything (appetizers) until our food came out! They're were 4 other couples who had been waiting longer than us for their food as well! They're steaks we did see at others tables looked burnt outside and bloody raw inside; which means the fire is too close to the steaks! I say this place is a big NO and the atmosphere is nothing to write home about! "Cigar"space is uselessly boring and only one patron was there? This place will not be around longer than 6 months! read more
