I love to get the Cajun chicken pasta with the mushrooms in a creamy sauce. I like to get it spicy. So very good. My favorites though are the beef pho (PERFECT), the Kung Pao Chicken, Mongolian Beef and the scrumptious dumplings. Ok, so try ordering just six of those dumplings and see how that works out for ya! Just order a dozen, ok? They are served piping hot and are accompanied by a delicious homemade dipping sauce. The Mongolian Beef includes many delicious vegetables and the large portion is served with an equally large portion of fried rice. The service is attentive and friendly. They truly care that you enjoy the food. The interior is simply decorated. However, there are numerous lovely paintings that were painted by the restaurant owner. Such a nice touch! I have been going to this restaurant for years when passing through Idabel. Prior to COVID, AJ's had a buffet set up in addition to the menu items. I enjoyed the buffet and miss that sometimes. There were numerous Asian and American dishes as well as a salad bar and AWESOME bread pudding. However, the absence of the buffet does not take away from the experience. It's just something I personally miss. In fact, I am pretty certain they still have the bread pudding on the menu. Get that too! Of course, since I am a regular, I will certainly be back!

A nice place, kinda fancy, the chairs being metal looked uncomfortable, I sat in the 'booth' side of a table. Staff was friendly and attentive. Friday night. Busy but not too busy. I ordered the 12oz Ribeye ($45), cooked rare with Creamed Spinach and Blistered Asparagus. The sides were good, I enjoyed those. Yet, my plate didn't get turned loose of yet when I was already disappointed in the steak and informed the waitress as such. I'm expecting a small thick steak. I received a large thin steak, no thicker than my little pinky, approx 1/4 inch. Thin steaks are not steaks to me. They cooked another steak, no extra charge. It also was big & thin. I got to keep both and brought one home. The second was a bit bland in flavor/seasoning. I visited with the chef. I was told I could request a thick steak but I don't feel that should be a request, it should be a given for a steakhouse. I also found out that my steak was cooked in a skillet, which given the thinness, I could see why being that I ordered it rare. Yet, I can cook a steak in a skillet at home much cheaper. It was not a $45 meal. A day later & I'm still disappointed. The chef & I visited for nearly 30 minutes. The topic: food, cultural cuisines, flavor, spice, etc. I enjoyed the visit. I do try to give places another chance but in doing so, I'd try different menu items. If I were to return here, It's unlikely that I'd order steak again. I gave 3 stars because they tried to fix the situation.

I ended up coming here to eat and since I had $25 dollars worth of food comps I decided to use them here. I was expecting the meal to be overpriced, but it was not. I ended up ordering the Wagyu Burger which ones with an appetizer (bruschetta) and fries and a side for $26 dollars. Then, you get bread on that. I ended up eating almost the entire though even though it was just me eating. Both the burger and the food was pretty good and good recommendation from my waiter. I ended up liking the Chop House, I ended up coming back here the next day as this time I wanted to try the Ribeye steak for $47 dollars. This time I got the calamari and mashed potatoes on the side. The steak was okay, not as good as the one at Winstar as parts of it ended up being a little dry. My meat ended up being raw when I cut opened and had my steak cooked a little bit more. The calamari was alright, I wished I ordered something else though. Mashed potatoes were good. I ended up getting dessert, but to go which was the creme brulee cake. Overall, service was great and I enjoyed it.

My wife's steak was cooked correctly for a medium but was a little tough. My salmon was cooked right and seasoned well but was lukewarm. We expected better for the price. Service was very good. Ambiance was a little lacking. They have glass panels up to block most of the noise from the slot machines but being next to the casino allowed too much cigarette smoke in the restaurant seating area. Probably will not be back.
