I went before n and he link and didn't know what I was going to see. I clicked in n the link. The foster had sexual content on her page like pictures of her body very sexually proactive. I should not be seeing that and the attitude I got back when I sent a text that this person is a foster and we don't micromanage their accounts. I did not get an apology for being exposed to the content. The organization takes no responsibility and passes it off like it is not be deal. I might lose my chances of adopting there but their attitude needs more professionalism.

The emailed me back shortly after saying they can't receive emails from Hotmail..... but they managed to see it after I said something. They gave me less than 24 hours notice to drive 2 hours away to meet this dog at a store, knowing that Ontario was getting the biggest snow storm heading our way that weekend. I replied back asking for a different day, if possible and still to this day, I have to this day not heard back and they are still posting that dog I was looking to home.

When I inquired after the dog I told them I didn't have a fenced yard but that I would like to take this poor pup home. I have a dog already so I told them I would have to make sure they got along before I adopted a new dog. Not only did they make me feel like a criminal for putting my dog in the backyard on a rope (which is at least 50 ft long) but they did not even bother to respond to any further emails from me about the dog I was willing to rescue. How do they expect to adopt any animals with this uncommunicative attitude? I feel bad for all animals in this shelter as the owners do not seem interested in adopting them into loving homes.

She truly cares about where her dogs end up and chooses the best homes and people that are the right match. The dogs that are lucky enough to make it to bow wow rescue have a great life while waiting for their forever homes.

That said, the cats seem well cared for, and the space is clean and comfortable for them -- and at the end of the day, that's what matters most.

The way it works is you order drinks and pay (in 30 minute blocks of time) for access to the cat lair. We chatted with the owner for a bit, and it turns out many of the kitties are rescues that they're essentially fostering; and they're available for adoption. (They collaborate with local animal shelters on this.) So it's a fun cat cafe, and they're also providing an essential, humane community service. That's something worth supporting. My only tip if you visit would be: bring a change of socks. You're required to take off your shoes before entering the cat lair, and your socks will be covered with cat hair by the end of your visit!

Beware of P.A.W Chatham…read more Beware of P.A.W Chatham Adopted two wonderful kitten on July 18 from Petsmart (Hosting P.A.W). Sadly One of them looked Sick and After two full days I had to rush him to a hospital in London, where it turned out he had Severe Pneumonia and Anemia. Sadly I had to opt for Euthanasia. It left me with a large vet bill and after contacting the shelter to see reimbursement. They refused claiming they don't give out sick pets and their contract states I can only return to them. ( I would have to wait several hours on Sunday. Instead taking him in to a emergency hospital early morning.)
