Stopping here afterwards, I was pleased that the trail goes through the Hudson neighborhood and connects with Tiffany Park along with Copperfield Lane. Plenty of trees and the landscape of homes give a nice view as you cut through the neighborhood. Also the trail is well-kept and covers a good amount of ground. Great for dog walking/jogging. Another great one in Bryan/CC!

There are two benches, a trash can, and a doggy doo disposal can as well. Anyways, as simple as it is, it's quiet and a nice place to sit and enjoy nature and watch your fur babies have a good time!

Burroughs Park is one of those places that makes you appreciate having great local parks nearby…read more It's huge and has a little bit of everything -- fishing ponds, multiple playgrounds for kids of different ages, long walking trails, and plenty of open space to just enjoy being outside. The playground areas are especially great for families because there are several scattered throughout the park, so it never feels overly crowded. The fishing ponds are also a nice touch if you want to slow things down and relax for a bit. It's a great spot for a weekend walk, letting the kids burn off some energy, or just getting some fresh air. The park is generally well maintained and there's plenty of room to spread out. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that it can get pretty busy on nice days and parking near the playgrounds fills up fast. But overall, it's definitely one of the better parks in the area and worth the visit.

Lots of giant trees where squirrels like to play hide and seek with the dogs. Coming in at a hefty 65-70lbs of questionable coordination, expert intellect, and pure speed, it's been a challenge mentally and physically exhausting my active Border Collie mix. Unfortunately even after his very active dog dad's runs combined with a generous backyard and playdates with his fur friend, he's got more remaining energy in one paw than I have in an entire month. This park is fabulous regardless of if your fur baby is this active, or prefers to relax on a bench undisturbed (although a division for the two play styles is the only thing I'd suggest adding). As others have mentioned, the dog beach, shaded benches, dog runs, trail, doggy showers, and overall cleanliness of the park are impressive. Additionally most dog parents are as trained as their pups, remaining attentive, and polite. Just be sure to watch the water if your pup is overconfident in their swimming abilities.

This park is massive we didn't even get a chance to explore all they offered…read more We parked near Flying Horses Carousal which is located next to the large Finke pavilion that has a huge fan in the center while already providing a great place for shade to escape the humid summer temp. There were several park structures near the pavilion, from swings, slides, spider web jungle gyms. There were two buildings near that I believe you could rent out for parties. Bathrooms are a stones throw and were air conditioned and clean. We could see the skate park from where we were along with additional play areas, across the street you can see the splash pad. There is "story walk" trail you can take that leads to or from the Library situated at the top of the hill. Definitely take a stop at the carousal if it's open it's only a dollar a person to ride, and really quite a splendor to oh and ah over. Tons of shade, great place for a picnic, and to get some energy out. Can't wait to visit again with my family.
