The nurse said with a condescending tone, "Honey, even people who actually NEED an MRI can't get one. That's not going to happen." I will never forget that. I have been in pain for years. Just wanted to say that since then, I found a genuine, compassionate, competant doctor elsewhere (Mercy), who listens to her patients and sees the big picture, to very willingly order an MRI for me which they did the extra work to make sure it was approved by my insurance. The MRI showed findings that indicate I have a chronic inflammatory disease and need surgery. Thanks to the team at Southwest Women's for completely dismissing my experience I lived in pain EVERY DAY for 2.5 extra years before getting an answer and a path forward. Women deserve better. Please educate yourselves properly on endometriosis.

They are through with diagnosis and treatment. Whatever's required from insurance they are fast and knowledgeable and take care of everything. Appointments are scheduled in a timely manner. (I don't wait months) I have had a total hip replacement (September 2021) and injections for an arthritic knee (currently). After my surgery I was sent home with a complete packet of instructions and prescriptions. The hospital staff is amazing too. I work with my doctor and my doctor works with me.

My cochlear implant was delayed for two years because of inconsistent testing and I eventually had to go to Denver to get professional help. The staff was very friendly and the office was beautiful, clean and even had some trucks for my boys to play with during our short wait.
