Sarah is the best bartender in the world! My only issue is the keep skipping songs I pay money for.

Ah yes, after we've enjoyed a delicious meal at one of the nearby eateries and we're looking to continue the night, we roll around to Animations for some Animations Ale!

It looked a little better downstairs. No food was orderable from upstairs. The bar tender didn't know how to make amaretto sours correctly. My wife had 2 and they both tasted drastically different. They have a small parking lot but we got in. They have an outside patio I guess you can eat and drink there. I can't imagine going there if you had nothing to do with Xavier University.

I love the ambiance and the small inside, yet large and plentiful outdoor spaces. I usually sit in the "Tent" outside when coming here with friends and order from the she shed, but it was closed. That ended up working perfectly because it was so hot outside that my friends and I wanted as much AC as we could get. We got in and there were few people there. It ended picking up a little after an hour there. My friends and I sat at a large table(there were 6 of us) and played Uno for two hours. We shared some fries and fried pickles. Both were very good and came out hot and fresh, although the fries could have used some salt. The drinks are just what you would expect. The bartenders are always friendly and quick to get or make a drink. Dana's is a great neighborhood bar and a cheap and easy place to go on any night.

The bar itself is pretty cool, atmosphere is fun, and being able to get little funny goodies with the purchase of a Jell-O shot is a very fun idea! I just think there are a few things that could be fixed! There's free popcorn which is a GREAT touch, however it was sooo stale it tasted like it had been there for hours! Obviously though, it's free and I don't judge them too much on that. I went on a Saturday night and they weren't that busy, but they only had two bartenders so maybe they just never got around to it! Now to the bartenders. They weren't bad, but not that great. Didn't know how to make the mixed drinks, so had to take back the menu they'd just given us to relearn how to make it. Also, weren't aware of what beers they had on tap, and there were only like 4-5 beers. So when I asked for one of them, they were confused on what I was asking for and chalked it up to "haven't seen that one in a while" but my friend literally just ordered it moments before me from the other bartender. Lastly, they have a pool table and that cool ring game where there's a ring on a string and you try to hook it on to a hook on the wall! Both were super fun, however far too close! It seemed that the people playing each game kept getting in each other's way. However, it's a small bar, and they are obviously just trying to give customers as many options for fun as possible! If you're in Mt. Adams, check this place out! Better for smaller groups than larger groups though!

We came here with a relatively large group on Friday night, after we had a terrible experience at the Blind Lemon down the street. They were happy to accommodate our group size and were quick and accurate with their drink service. "Pedal minions!" shouted tour guide John…read more That's part of the whimsical charm found on Cincinnati's historic Pedal Wagon tour: Barons & Bikes. Presented by the folks at American Legacy Tours, Barons & Bikes takes riders on a trip around Newport's Historic East Row to hear tales of the Wiedeman Brewery, Mr. Kroger, and horrific tales of dismemberment at local saw mills. The Eastern Row is filled with historic, grandiose houses and Victorian-style churches. Plus the landscaping is gorgeous with greenery hanging over the streets. Photography is permitted on the tour, with the front right side being the best place for pictures. For a new tour, it's off to a great start. I would like to hear more stories about history, such as the architecture or why the East Row developed the way that it did. It would be more interesting than hearing about where the founder of the Hofbrauhaus goes to church. Also, throw in some information about the debauchery and gangsters. Yes, this company also hosts the Newport Gangster Tour, so it doesn't want to give the same information on both tours. Some overlapping wouldn't hurt though; just pick the most interesting or little-known stories. Afterwards we were dropped off at our origin at Hofbrauhaus, just in time for lunch. The pretzels and bier cheese are delicious, as was their signature Hefeweisen. One complaint though: parking. Upon arriving at Hofbrauhaus, the lot had their Valet service set up. There would be a $5.00 charge to park in a lot that is normally free. The attendant mentioned that there is always a charge on Saturdays. On a Saturday morning? Minimal people were patronizing the restaurant at this time, making Valet unnecessary. Folks who are taking the Pedal Wagon Tour should not have to pay $5.00 to park in the lot for an hour. Perhaps guests could show their receipt of ticket purchase to park for free? Cost: $20.00 per person Tour Time: 1 hour Tips: - If you must bring a purse, take a small bag. There is no where to store aside from the counter top while you pedal. - Be sure to wear sneakers. - There is a 5'3" height requirement to pedal the bike. The Pedal Wagon does have a few rider seats for short folks. At 5'7" I was having to stretch a little to reach the pedal at its lowest. - Tipping the tour guide is encouraged, so bring some cash.

Rain rain go away! The crazy April showers couldn't stop our group from enjoying the pedal wagon…read moretour that introduced us to a unique area full of history. I wish that the seat height was adjustable as even average leg length people had a trouble at times peddling. Not a big deal. I did like learning about some of the lesser known homes and businesses in the area. There is so much history and John does a good job of inserting humor and sarcasm. This type of tour is one you would only need to do once. The bar crawl version this company offers would be great for bachelor/ette parties. The wagon needs to have some advertisement on it... like the name of the company and their website...
