Had a great experience at Anita's last night. Beer was cold and the food was great. Our server was attentive and friendly. We loved it!

This was my first visit. I was underwhelmed with the food. Nice restaurant. I ordered a beef Monterrey. Looked incredible. I took 2 bites and could not eat it. It was way to salty. I clearly barely touched it since it was inedible. I asked for it to be taken off and they refused. I even told them to have someone from the kitchen taste it and the answer was still no. I even asked for grilled jalapeños. They came out totally cold. After they warmed them up, they were very good. Cost almost $20 for 6 jalapeño slices that were warmed. Very disappointed. Right next to our booth looked liked dried vomit. Im sure it was sauce but that should've been cleaned before we got there at 4:30!!! The wait staff was young and hardly came to table. We wanted to order drinks but 3 of the waitresses were chatting in a booth. Save your money and drive on by this place! read more

They couldn't even get our order right, after an hour of waiting we get our food and it's not correct not even close.. so we had to wait an extra 15 minutes to get all of food. The waitresses are nice people but the manager is a jerk. Food is ok, and if you don't like something he still wants to charge you regardless of the bad taste. You have to literally argue with him to remove it from the bill. read more

Eating here was a wild ride! You will never know if you're going to get attacked physically by the waitress! With that said, it was a nice surprise. Loved the food. Not sure about buddy though he shat himself. The bathroom was sticky but I like it sticky. In general it was good food. Better than most restaurants around the area! We've been here a few times now, mostly last summer/fall but decided to try it again today. We'd chocked up the bad service we'd had previously to always being waited in by teenagers seemed like the best service comes from the guy we assumed runs it. Today however we had a woman and it wasn't any better. Other than taking our order and bringing our initial drinks we didn't see her again. Had to flag someone down for refills and the check. The food we've had has been decent overall. I've gotten a steak a few times and until today they've been pretty good. Normally they don't ask how you want it cooked but did today, it was overcooked for what I asked and it was extremely fatty and thin, not much steak to it for $20. As far as the location it seems clean and taken care of. One side has the painted chairs and tables, the other side is just basic tables/booths. They also often have the TVs blasting so loud you can't have a conversation if seated by them. read more

We arrived about 2 PM on a Monday. Not busy but the food & service were excellent! Shay was our server & she did not disappoint! They have a salsa bar which is really nice for those that want something more. We shared a lunch meal and it was enough for two. We will be back. read more

Amazing authentic Mexican food. The food was very flavorful and cooked well! The chips were also super crispy and good. I had the chicken flautas which were very tasty. For being a restaurant attached to a hotel, this place has an outstanding menu full of the standard Mexican fare, but boasts 5 pages of delicious, mouth-watering items that come to your table hot, tasty and delicious! The chips are served warm and the salsa is spicy, but not too hot. The flavor makes you want more. Be careful or you won't have room for your plate when it arrives! I tried the enchilada plates featuring 4 different fillings. Hubby had a plate with 3 kinds of sauces. The lettuce, tomato and cheese that came with it was fresh and cold, not worked into the hot plate. The Pico de gayo was on point and the beans were flavorful. The rice was perfect. As usual, we received ice water, so I can't judge the drinks. We were satisfied with our meal and will return soon! read more

5 star by far! Went to eat there last night and everything was amazing, as usual! Me and my husband got the enchilada Lopez which comes with 3 enchiladas and it was so good! Had some Verde on it and cheese with a side of Spanish rice. Didn't taste boxed and definitely freshly made! My son got the pizza and fries and he wasn't too big of a fan of the cheese on it but he liked everything else, he likes pepperoni pizza. The fries had seasoning on them. The pizza crust tasted handmade. I could go all day about how delish this place is. We got the El patròn again and of course they were strong and delish! We also got a side of queso which was so good also. The staff is also very friendly. We had a waitress and she was very attendant even after we got the check. Made sure we had everything we needed and made sure everything was good. A+ rating. Would recommend Anita's to anyone. read more

This is one of the best Mexican restaurants I've been to. We picked this place because it was near our hotel. The online menu did not represent the real menu well. We played it safe and ordered enchiladas, fajitas and quesadillas. The food was excellent. We are here another night, most likely will return. read more

This was our first visit to Anita's...and our last. Neither my wife nor I got what we ordered. Being adventurous to a new restaurant to us, we each took a bite of the food that was served. We decided immediately that we had made a mistake. We summoned the waitress and asked for our check. We paid and left. That's right...WE PAID!! It was VERY obvious that we hadn't eaten, and they didn't even suggest not paying for it, AND they knew it was their fault. We could have just as easily just burned $30. And it's not like they were busy. I think there were five other people in the entire place. read more

Very good food. I have eaten here sever times. The home made salsa is fantastic. They put it on your table with warm homemade tortilla chips. I had a carne Astana burrito topped with sour cream and a red sauce! Came with refried beans, rice and salsa. I had the chicken burrito and that was extremely good! crap service the waitress messed my order up and then when my food came out i requested it to be remade as she only brought 1 single enchilada when i asked for the platter and then she looks at me stupid like it's my fault, after that she gave up on my table not once did she come back after i got the food i had an empty cup and after i finished eating sat there for 30 minutes i had to get up and go ask for the check. absolutely ridiculous would not recommend anyone wasting their time or money in this establishment you will be disappointed in the service. read more

So I stay at the hotel several times a month I decided to try the Mexican restaurant across the street the price was right the food was good but the service is horrible beware beware beware the service was horrible and there was maybe only 15 people in the restaurant for 5 people walking around and the service was horrible read more

When they pour you drinks they use a heavy pour, which is awesome because you almost have to be drunk to enjoy the food.

One of the only nice sit down places to eat in Eldorado. It is a pleasant environment and reminds me of my days working at red coach as it's in the old red coach building. It was clean and service was great. We have eaten off the buffet which was tasty and they offered more traditional Mexican fare. We have also ordered off the menu and the queso and chips were delicious as well as tostada. I would recommend eating here. read more

Step it up. After flipping through your textbook sized menu, I placed my order--even pointing to the entree's photo and showing the waitress, asking what all it came with. So food comes out and my spouse and daughter got their orders, but mine was wrong, nothing remotely like I ordered--as in a different entree altogether. So i took your Scott Dorseman textbook menu AGAIN AND SHOWED YOUR BILINGUIL watress what I ordered. Ten minutes later she brought out ANOTHER COMPLETELY DIFFERENT ENTREE, this one costing over $14. A very welcome addition to local dining options, most of which are fast-food or take-out. We went for lunch with a visiting friend from Texas. Our meals were delicious, with authentic ingredients and flavors. Drinks were great, too. Service was prompt and friendly. We will return soon. read more

Excellent! We stopped through El Dorado on our way to Kansas City from Texas. Our Mexican food standards are pretty high since we've lived in Texas our whole lives. We know good Mexican and this is it! Enchiladas Suizas were more of a verde enchilada to me but were absolutely delicious! Fresh verde (green) sauce and flavorful chicken with cheese on top. Pollo Jack was also delicious with the queso, spinach and mushrooms. If we ever find ourselves in El Dorado, Kansas again, we will be back! ¡Gracias por un almuerzo excellent! read more

Went there for dinner, we stood for five minutes waiting to be seated, waited for ten minutes before a waitress came to our table, we ordered our drinks and meals, another waitress came and slammed down chips and salsa. Drinks came food followed and my sister in law and I ordered the Cancun Burger and fries, the burger was a sloppy mess, the fries hot and crispy, my other half's food was cold, we waited and waited for the waitress to come back, she never did I had even ordered a second coffee, I never got it.
