Decided to check this place out. They brought us plenty of limes, a salsa of sorts, and a fish dish. The fish was delightful. Chips were rock hard but was an okay vessel for the fish.We had the medium shrimp cocktail. Loaded with shrimp but could have used more avocado and onion. The cool broth was a huge hit! Throw some tequila in it and I'd be very happy. Also tried the mixed (beef, chicken and shrimp) fajitas. The shrimp were delicious. Chicken and beef were way overcooked and terribly dry. Just okay. I had high hopes, but I was very disappointed in the severe lack of flavor. If you like chili powder- this is your place. I had the shrimp enchiladas. It was nothing but burnt shrimp, tomatoes, a tortilla, and burnt cheese. It was served with white rice, a "salad," and a horrible piece of stale garlic bread. I ordered a Diet Coke, it was delivered in a can (no ice, no glass). Be aware- no one speaks English. Even the menu is printed in Spanish. That doesn't bother me, but you should know in advance in case you don't speak the language. I finally broke down and spoke to the server in Spanish to try to make it easier, not to mention I probably would still be waiting for my bill if I hadn't. read more

Decided to give this place a try since I was craving seafood and the seafood restaurant my husband and I usually go to is 20 minutes away. I ended up getting take out - food was ok, the portion and prices are RIDICULOUS! I paid $14 for a "medium" size shrimp cocktail which clearly is a small cup, it couldn't even fill up a normal sized bowl! I also got aguachiles for $20 and well, the picture shows no justice on how little bit they gave me and somehow the total ended up being almost $37! Had I known the prices were high star restaurant prices and food was your typical ehh, I would not have bought anything but unfortunately I had sent in my little sister to pick up the food. From here on out I will continue to drive 20 minutes to get delicious affordable seafood! read more

It doesn't get more authentic than this for authentic fresh Mexican seafood. I also liked that the men were had a wide variety of selections to choose from. They also had a wide range of Mexican beers to choose from. The one thing I dont recommend is the shrimp empanadas. It lacked alot of flavor. But on another note the other dish we ordered was flavorful and probably enough to feed 2 -3 people read more

The food was great but the drink menu was very misleading. The drink menu said Margaritas $3.99 or $6.99 for premium Margarita, so I ordered the premium and asked for Don Julio tequila (because I assumed "premium" meant higher grade tequila). Then our server came back and asked if I wanted a small or large, not mentioning a price difference. (small and large pricing isn't on the menu) so of course I said large. When we got the bill I wasn't charged $6.99 per margarita but $16.00 per marg + $3.00 each per margarita for the Don Julio. $19.00 for a margarita is fucking rediculous, and it wasn't even big. I can't believe what size a small would be, maybe a rocks glass?? Like I said the food was good but with a small tip our tab was 102.00 for 3 of us. We probably won't be back unless it's someone's Birthday. read more

12thAfter our meal today, my daughter has deemed this her favorite seafood place and THE BEST SEAFOOD IN TOWN! My piña rellena was excellent! The rice was cooked to perfection and the ceviche instead of salsa is the greatest idea ever. This was my first order here and unfortunately it will also be my last. It was an order for delivery by Uber eats. I ordered the seafood pasta and the 7 seas soup. With only two items it seem almost inconceivable that they woul forget one. The seven seas soup was the item missing and the one I most looked forward to trying. I was very preturbed that neither Uber eats or Las Islas Marias called to explain why the soup was missing. The seafood pasta that did arrive was cold and the Alfredo sauce was thick and except for the muscles the rest of the seafood was not fresh but frozen. The shrimp was especially bad. They were tiny and rubbery. Even the garlic toast was bad. It was soaked with butter and way over garlicky. The total for this simple meal was over $52.00 and could have been much better spent. read more

I had a very uncomfortable and negative experience in this restaurant. The waitress made so many mistakes. When it was time to pay things got worse. I was charged double the amount, almost $400. I tried to explain but kept being cut off by the other ladies at the register that insisted it was the right amount. They tried to charge me for so many things that we did not order. I volunteered to do the math myself. After a long wait they finally called someone else,I believe some lady in management. She explained what I was charged for. This was the first time we had eaten here in a very long time. We did not know they charged for chips and salsa since there were several of us. They also charge one of the items on the menu by the kilo? I told her they needed to make customers aware of this and her answer was, " the people that come eat here already know this." My family and I did not feel welcomed in this place. They were loud and would not chage the price until I became impatient and pointed out everything I had ordered and they realized they had made many mistakes on the order. We were not expecting free meals but most places after countless mistakes work with you and apologize. That was not happening until they saw I was pretty irritated with them. I do not know if they have new management or what the deal was but it was horrible customer service and apparently they did not care if they lost customers the way they handled the sistuation and the response that they gave me. So you may want to make sure that you take a close look at the menu because no one told us they charge certain things on the menue by the kilo. The waitress seemed to be running back and forth as is she was the only one dealing with customers.The other ladies were standing around chatting. This waitress did not communicate well with us. Terrible customer service. Although the food was okay, it is dificult to contribute to a business with this type of service and I do not plan to visit again. read more

This was my first visit, and it was wonderful. I had the seafood soup. The broth was very flavorful and it was loaded with all kinds seafood:shrimp, muscles, squid, etc. Before the soup came I was given a plate of rice salad (really good), lime slices, and salsa along with crisp, delicious, fried, whole tortilla shells. I loved this place. The food is great but the management does not know how to run a business. We had some issues with our order and tried to resolve them with the waiter. The manager refused to do anything to help. We ended up paying for 2 expensive entres we didn't mean to order (which is fine it was our mistake) and then also paid full price for the dish we actually wanted even after the waiter suggested we may be able to get a discount. After this the manager also tagged on 18% gratuity for a table of 4 even though their policy states automatic gratuity for party's of 10 or more. I think it was just a manager who doesn't know how to treat customers making sure he collected our tip. We never got mad or complained but we were treated like we were some sort of nuisance by the manager. This happened the evening of 04/20/19. If it was just one bad manager I may give it another try some time. read more
