Small liquor stores are great! Customer service is much more personable. They really get to know their customers. So when I put my head in and the girl behind the desk tells me about some new cabarets - she has me sold. Very good wine selection. They use to have weekly wine/beer tasting but it has been several months since they have stopped. Not sure why but that use to be a big perk at the place. Now I wish they would update their website with that information. Every so often I drop in just to grab a new bottle. read more

Even though the signage outside of this liquor store generically says Wine & Liquor, Anjo's is a perfectly descriptive store of spirits staffed with some pretty knowledgeable and friendly folks. The prices seem competitive here and the wine and micro brew selection is really good for a little 'mom and pops' type liquor store. You won't find yourself bobbing and weaving in between cases and displays of booze here either. The store is laid out in a way that makes everything fairly easy to access and see. There usually are some type of specials advertised on a little sidewalk sign out in front of this location. So if you are in the Baymeadows area keep your eye out for this little hole in the wall liquor store. read more

OK, what are you do when all other hooch stores are closed on a weekday in a city that seems to sleep and you just gotta have your Pinot Grigio? And you see a liquor store in the strip mall in an area you're not used to being in? Yep that's right, you go in and hope the prices aren't jacked sky high because they're the only gig in the area opened late for those in need of liquid courage! When I entered the establishment it's smelled rather sweet and the aroma was either an incense or I had just stepped into a tropical paradise (it was neither, the salesperson proudly identified it as Fabreeze). What the hey, it was a pleasant smell nonetheless I was only here for the Pinot Grigio. Both ladies were very kind and helpful as I walked around the rectangular long liquor store just looking at everything from top shelf to gut to the back where the wine was apparently stashed. I got the impression wine connoisseurs were not their clientele as it was merchandised next to "Waldo"; but I found it after I asked for assistance (by the way, it was next to me). Imagine that, this mom and pop joint had Sutter Home. Wheeeee! The ladies were very friendly and funny. We talked holiday and being thankful and how my form of payment had my picture on it. This prompted her to share her recent glam squad selfie that she now wants put on her credit card (which currently has a lotus flower on it). I loved how she made the checkout a relationship of sorts and that I was her long lost friend who happened to wander in on a happenstance looking for hooch. I didn't take any pictures because I was caught up in the conversation. I felt more relaxed as I was trying to grab, pay and go as I've seen enough First 48 episodes of convenience and liquor store hold ups and fallout to know I need to get ghost like soon. Once I got over my paranoia, I thanked her as she did me and I was welcomed to come back. If ever I'm in the area during the next super moon I surely will. read more

Hey, this is a great little liquor store. Excellent prices, often better than ABC, Publix, etc. Very friendly staff. Somewhat cramped for space, but they carry all the major brands. Convenient in the Baymeadows/Southside area. read more

I came in here to try and find a wine my fiance asked me to buy. The staff was more than helpful assisting me in the store. I didnt exactly know the brand my fiance was asking for when i entered the store. I also got a chance to try a new vodka while in the store. Cant beat that! read more

i love this liquor store..its not like the chain ones that you walk into and it feels like merchandise...its more like a museum in here to me..the staff is super nice and helpful..i've come along some great finds at the recommendation of these folks! also they have different tastings here of liquors and beers and some of the vendors come out to have sales and such..great location, great service, perfect in my book! read more

Cashiers were high, clearly. One employee literally held the door closed when we tried to come in. Horrendous.

The go-to store at Southside and Baymeadows if you're looking for anything specific. Friendly staff and frequent tastings/demos. Prices are also on point. read more
