Stopped in because we were near total Wine. They have some good wine and other things, after waiting a few minutes for one cashier to do something while another one did whatever, I put all my wine, beer, bourbon and $27 cherries on the conveyor, my wife got me them on Amazon for only $22. As soon as I did that, the other lady standing around, took a lady behind me. while I waited and waited and waited and waited then, so finally, I asked a male who looked like maybe the manager if he could please check me out, please, he completely ignored me as he walked to me, beside me and around me. So I did what any human being would do who works hard for their money I left, saving probably $400, shaking my head. read more

I could spend hours in this store learning about new wines from various countries. I like that they post descriptions about each of the wines so you can determine if you want to try it. They also have a section where they feature different wines, and sometimes at a discount . I just recently returned from Italy and tried Soave white wine for the first time and loved the crispness of it and it paired really well with the charcuterie I had. I usually like red blends but tried a couple of Sangiovese wines that I also I liked. The prices can range from lower budget to very expensive. They also carry a variety of liquor and beer. I tried cherry beer in Belgium and I was able to find some here, along with my favorite Shofferhofer grapefruit beer. I can't believe they only have a couple of these stores; I'm use to them in every corner of my old city. I have to drive quite a distance to get here. I was also looking for a certain brand of beer, it's called Devastator by Wasatch...they don't carry it. It is a beer that's hard to find. Guess I will have to be ordinary! I am upgrading this review to 3 stars for the online service! Total wine has been nailing it with the deals and in my previous review I failed to mention how I have been enjoying total wine even for international orders! Excellent online system but sadly employees with poor work ethics are forcing ppl indoors to online so how will they keep their job? But I guess if they hate working they must not require it?? I digress ... both online services I requested here were challenging to get service at the store per the usual since 2022... smh. But at least you can shop online in peace without seeing employees who really should find a new career path. Fine establishments require stellar service!! Bathrooms are disgusting, the floor was covered in toilet water, smelled disgusting. Out of the six or so cashier machines available only three were open and lines were long but moved at a decent speed. The beverage options were great but I felt like I smelled like that bathroom for the rest of the day. read more

Having bought 4 bottles of low calorie wine on 2 occasions, I came back to buy a 3 brand of low calorie wine. Zero was pretty good, Klean sucked. The same guy was rude after I said the I wanted a third, mentioning that Klean was bad. He said that all we watered down- that was the nature of low calorie wine. I said that then why did Zero taste better and they are bound to have better options. He made no attempt to help. Thankfully a third guy suggested one and Bridgette could not have been nicer. I see why the younger crowd doesn't do wine. Places like this have wine snobs. Won't be going back. ABC people are a lot more helpful read more

We came to total wine to look for dark ales and stouts for my husband. Total wine has plenty of options laid out by type of liquor. There is something for everyone here. They were offering samples of alcohol and then samples of those liquors in cocktails. I got tipsy off those samples. Worst in store experience this far. Employees in this store are quick to anger, belligerence and among all else are unprofessional. Store managers delayed a 1 item order for over 40 minutes harassing me, calling police and screaming in front of other customers. I'll be calling their store executives ASAP.. Management here also feels is better for their loudest workers to handle their problems FOR THEM. The inside of the store was very clean, and they had a plethora of both alcoholic and nonalcoholic beers/liquors to choose from. At checkout, our cashier Tyler was talkative & also went out of his way to call a manager and help us save a few dollars on the NA liquor we purchased, something we were certainly appreciative of. I love this Total Wine location! Parking can be tough at times as they are usually busy especially on the weekends. You can find just about anything and everything to satisfy your adult beverage needs. Their wine selection is unmatched. So many bottles at every price point imaginable. They also have an extensive beer and liquor selection. So many craft brews to choose from as well as every spirit under the sun. You can enjoy samples of wine and liquor Thursday-Saturday. There are a few vendor tables set up around the store. It's a nice opportunity to try new items. The employees are awesome! They are super helpful and very knowledgeable. Of course my husband and I left a nice tip for our delivery driver as a thank you for working during this tough time! My husband loves a nice night cap of Jim Bean and Pepsi. That is his go to drink after a long day at work and trust me lately he's been having a lot of late hours and hectic work days so he likes to kick back and play some video games while sipping on some Jim and Pepsi. We were running low on Jim Bean and I told my husband he's not allowed out the house unless it was an emergency to do our part in social distancing. It has been a while since I walked in here. All the aisles were marked and you'd think that would making searching for your alcoholic beverage of choice fairly easy. Not so in my situation. I was on the hunt for something that was not beer or wine. I was searching for mead. Yes, mead. That ancient drink of gods and poets. The first pass, I walked from one side of the store to the other, looking at all the signs. Then, I walked up and down the aisles. No where was there a category of alcohol named mead. But I knew they sold it. The website told me so. Just to makr sure, I pulled my phone out and checked again. Yup, it was there, available or unavailable in store. I actually had to use the location listed in the website to find the mead. One location was the dessert wines aisle in Aisle 1. The other location was all the way on the other side of the store in 12. And I wasn't the only one that had issues finding it either. There was another person searching through all the singles and seasonals before I saw him again searching for exactly what I was searching for. read more

I've been to this location at least 10 times now. I'm a long time Total Wine customer & fan. The selection is very good. Im a big craft beer aficionado. Their local beer selections are pretty good. I'd love some more international beers. My pet peeve with this location is the customer service. When you initiate a conversation with the employees, they're pleasant & knowledgeable. OFTEN when shopping there, I feel my presence in the aisles just pisses off the employees. Not once has an employee that's blocking a large portion of the aisle while restocking has an employee stopped & asked if I needed help or apologized for blocking the products they're trying to sell. Today, I shopped the craft beer aisle for about 45mins. I passed by 7 different employees (one was clearly a manager). Not a single one even looked in my direction and no one said a word to me. I was going to buy a heck of a lot more today but got tired of being ignored and try to pick my way through their restocking carts. A little bit of customer service goes a long way. The DM & RM should send a secret shopper while this location is restocking their aisles. If you don't want my business, Broudy's certainly does. read more

I have visited this Total Wine & More twice now. It is like a warehouse of adult beverages. You will find most any craft, domestic and imported beer. And of course there is also liquor. They were giving out samples on my visit today. But I spent my time in the far back left corner where the keep the shandy beer multi packs. There were so many to choose from and I had to check them all out. There are many selections I have never seen before in any other store. When you come in for the first time I would suggest finding a team member to help navigate you through this large store. When I asked for help and a team member was nice enough to take me to the item. Oh and I can't forget the cigar room. I have not been inside yet but I plan to check it out on my next trip. If you're looking for cigars they have a huge selection. I also signed up for the rewards program today. Definitely going to come back here as there are so many selctions to choose from and from what I see, this is the largest in all of Jacksonville. Would love to see more reduction in price or at least offer some of the beers in wholesale price rather than retail. The lay out of the store is a little weird but, after a few visits I'm able to cut my time in the store to under 30 minutes that's shopping and checking out. I'd say they could use some more helpful staff but let's face facts the days of going to a store and the staff wanting to help you are long gone and it is ashame, also the parking could be more plentiful. read more

Was so excited to pick up my order of Four Roses Bourbon gift set. This was after Christmas. Ordering online was super easy. The price was right. Cheaper as a gift set. So when I picked it up I was told that they had an error in their inventory. First I got a notice that my order would be ready the next day. Then a few minutes later an email was sent saying they were out of stock. Well I did not see the 2nd email. I was so unhappy and it must have showed. So I ask to speak to the manager and she must have felt sorry for me to give me a nice discount on the bottle of the same size. I will never forget the nice gesture by the lady manager. The manager here is a certified psychopath. I came in with my fiancé to buy some alcohol tonight. Made a 30 minute drive over. My fiancé forgot his ID, but I was the one paying so I figured he could just go outside and I check out without him, but she said I wasn't allowed to buy anything at all. I was annoyed, since I have to drive an hour there and back. So I step out, leave him in the car, and come back in. Alone. I grab all the same stuff and avoid miss crazy as best I could, but of course she follows me around the store and comes over to me in line, stands in front of me and tells me "We can't sell to you" even though I'm completely alone. Fiancée is nowhere to be seen. She kept trying to tell me "its the law" but there is no law that says I'm not allowed to come back by myself. I am 25! Fiancé is 25. My husband wanted to come just to "look around" while killing time. They always have new stuff to try. Today we tried an old fashioned. It was good. My husband asked one of the employees if he'd ever tried Mi Familia tequila and to our surprise he said they actually had an open bottle and asked if we wanted to try. I wish I got his name because he was so friendly and helpful. He walked us to the back where he grabbed the bottle and let my husband try it. It was great! So nice to be able to try something new before buying especially when it's not the cheapest. Needless to say our "just looking" stop ended with us leaving with a bottle of Mi Familia and a bottle of Calumet whiskey. Thank you to the employees for always being so helpful when we come in.
