I finally made it to Ink Factory Brewing, a ten minute walk from Jax Beach. I've been eyeing this place for a while.  I usually spend a good amount of time in coffee shops working on my laptop, and I'll admit I almost skipped this place based on the google photos, because it looked like it might have limited seating and no power outlets. While I wouldn't call this a go-to "work from a coffee shop all day" sort of spot. After asking around I found out this place has two floors the top floor has a space for daily office rentals. I am here on a Saturday and had no problem finding a place to work from on the first floor.  I asked Katie who was walking by and was super helpful about why it is called Ink Factory Brewing. This place used to be where Void Magazine was written and published hence "Ink Factory".  I was pleasantly surprised. The space is large enough that I found a quiet corner and even managed to snag a power outlet. The staff didn't seem bothered at all by me settling in with my laptop. That said, Ink Factory feels more like a place to hang out try the coffee, grab some food, maybe have a beer rather than a dedicated work spot. The space immediately gives off a relaxed beach vibe white walls, local artwork, surfboards, and beach apparel everywhere. It feels equal parts coffee shop, hangout spot, and beach town brewery. My coffee was spot on. Emily was awesome and helped me build a custom drink: an iced coffee with a shot of espresso, mocha syrup, topped with cold foam. Not only did it taste great, but she made it look so good that people sitting at the bar asked what I ordered. This kind of care and presentation really stood out.  If they're really busy, finding an outlet could be tough. Parking is also a bit limited for such a large space, but that's pretty typical for the beach area. Not the place I'd camp out every weekday, but definitely somewhere I'd come back to. read more

I went by since I was in the area and waiting to go to dinner later. I wanted a matcha latte but unfortunately the coffee bar closes at 3:00PM!! What a COOL set up!! I mean really awesome!! I'll definitely come back another day to try some coffee and matcha. As soon as I walked in I felt like I was transported to vacation beach spot in Key West. They have a couple rooms off to the right as you walk in. In one room they sale clothing a freaking vinyl records. In the room right next that one they have more seating and a couple of games and seating area. The vibe was super fresh and super surfy. I walked in and as I was looking at the coffee bar the bartender eventually came over to tell that the coffee bar was closed. He did offer me some Cold Brew! I'll definitely BE BACK. read more

This was such a fun colorful brewery! The staff was so nice and helped me get the perfect light beer. I got the pomegranate beer and it was so good!!!! I really wanted another but had to leave for lunch. I would love to come back and get that beer....I still think about it to this day! read more

This place was an awesome little surprise. Wasn't looking for an open coffee spot on a Sunday and ink factory came up. Glad I gave it a chance. Delicious and such a comfy spot. Lots of places to relax, work or play. There is a small game room downstairs and a coworker area upstairs. They have evening events and a food truck in the parking lot on certain nights too! My favorite brewery in Jacksonville. They have great hours. The prices are a tad high for beer but tolerable. I think everything is about 50c higher than id expect The place is clean. The staff are all friendly. They are the best brewery in town at unique beer flavors, like their smoothie sours. Not many breweries use lactose in their beer and this brewery does an outstanding job at utilizing that ingredient effectively read more

Always enjoy our experience here. The service is good. The food truck on site is amazing- my daughter is obsessed with their cheeseburgers. They have multiple hazy IPAs which are my favorite so I appreciate coming here- electric beach is a good hazy but not too high of an ABV, around 5.5% if I remember correctly. There's a game room which is convenient with kiddos- my daughter loves the claw machine! It's a hip, beach vibe with some good apparel as well. read more

Hubby and I finally got a chance to try out Ink Factory Brewing last week. We thought it was great! We loved their selection of brews as well as the beachy laidback vibe! My favorite brew was the acid test #3 - peanut butter and raspberry jelly sour. It was super delicious! Yummy peanut butter flavor and just the right amount of tart raspberry in the background. I also liked the fun foam - milkshake IPA. Hubby really enjoyed the lil fluffy - New England IPA. Ink Factory is yet another awesome brewery in the beaches area! Woke up the other day and wanted a coffee so I went to ink factory. Had a latte. Delicious. Later that night I got thirsty for a beer. Went to ink factory. Had two great stouts. Delicious. After drinking my beers my stomach started grumbling. Grabbed a massive burger from the hard pressed food truck right outside. Delicious. All this to say ink factory has a bit of everything. Let's just say, I now visit Ink Factory twice as much as I used too because they have Hard Pressed Burgers posted up outside Thurs - Sun! Thank you Ink Factory for setting up that collaboration between the two local businesses! Ink Factory is one of my favorite local breweries here in Jax. It's so lively and artistic, the vibe is extremely welcoming, and now they even offer bomb a** food to go along with your brew or wine! This space is so open. The patio is dog friendly , and there is plenty of space inside for parties. If you can visit on a Thursday through Sunday, I highly recommend going during these nights because that is when you can take advantage of supporting both local businesses located on the property. I have been wanting to try this place for a while now. I tried their iced drink, In the Name of Love, which features a chai latte topped with cold brew and cold foam, and garnished with Fruity Pebbles. The drink was an interesting surprise-its tangy cold brew flavor was too pronounced, overshadowing the chai. The flavors didn't pop as much as I had hoped therefore, I would rate it a 6/10. The presentation was adorable, and the shop's ambiance was cozy and welcoming. The space is quite spacious, making it a great spot to catch up with friends. Plus, it transforms into a bar in the evening, adding to its versatility. I came in this past Thursday night for an event and I had a nice time. I'll start off with parking, which was a bit cruddy. This place is popular and parking was just about gone around 530PM. With that said you can park further away and walk, just pay attention to the myriad of signs about where you can park and where you cannot. Service was fine. Our bartender was not particularly outgoing or warm, but she did her job. I loved the beer I had which was the Belgian Dubbel. I would come back just for that. The place livened up around 630-7PM. They had some other event going on and you'll see kids and families. The ambiance is really nice here with different little areas to sit and chill. This is a sweet little micro brewery and it deserves a return visit. read more

There is something most every night, and usually food of some sort (Dark Side Tacos and Hard Pressed usually, both great). Clean with a dope vibe! This is my immediate thought as I walked in... we were greeted with open arms by the staff here. Thank you to all the bartenders here that helped us select the perfect pours we were in the mood for. They also have a great selection of merch! Check them out in your free time as they do have coffee and snacks in the A.M. no just beer and food! They do have a sports viewing room that we heard gets rowdy in a good way! This place is a whole vibe! Burger was delicious and fresh! I visit Jax frequently and feel like I found a new, must go spot!

I have mixed feelings about this review. I can divide it into two impressions, 1) the interior and overall feel, and 2) the beer. Let me start with the positive, the interior and overall feel. The place is well laid out. The bar itself has plenty of seating and is easy to approach. There is additional seating in the bar area, plentiful enough for a large crowd to be able to sit. There are two other rooms beyond the bar. One has a couch and chair and a large projection screen on which a baseball game was playing when I was there. This looks like comfortable seating for a small group. The other room has old video games providing yet more space for a group to spread out and have fun while having a beer. Service at the bar was good, not overly friendly or overly helpful, but I didn't express a desire for the former or a need for the latter. Overall it's a comfortable space that I could see visiting for anything from a small celebration to a beer after work, after dinner, or after the beach. As for the beer, if you've read most of my other brewery reviews you know I see this as a matter of taste. Everyone has different taste. As for me, I found the beers to be good enough to finish, but not really good enough to get another. Here are my thoughts on my four I tasted: The Ripe Coast IPA is decent as a West Coast IPA, but it left an odd aftertaste. (1 star) The Electric Beach Hazy IPA is very light for that style in my opinion and it suffers from a little of that aftertaste experienced with the Ripe Coast. The Florivana starts off with a hint of the odd aftertaste but it is brewed with grape must so I could see that being what I'm tasting. The Tropic Faze is the best of my sample. It has a hint of tropical flavor on top of the Electric Beach, I assume, but again with the slightest odd aftertaste. There are a lot of other beers on their board, so there's plenty of opportunity for something better than what I tried. And, as I said about taste earlier, "the aftertaste" might just be my palate so I don't want to discourage you from trying this place. I've had bad beer before and that's not the case here. I'm just not that into the Brewer's style here. read more

Ink Factory Brewing opened for business on 12/1/21 in the Jacksonville Beach area, serving unique craft beers and coffees. Not often you will find brewery that also serves coffees, so it's definitely a win-win for me. First of, I wanted to try their Mocha coffee, which I liked. Then I noticed that they serve a hybrid wine/beer called Florivana, which I had to try. It was really unique and it was delish. They get their coffees from a local coffee roaster called Paco's Coffee. The inside of this place provides a nice vibe, a place you can hang out and socialize. They have a small room that has a bench and TV. Additionally they have a merchandise shop. And from the looks of it, they have more room for expansion. Good beer and friendly staff! One person in our group ordered a cold brewed coffee and said it was also very good. We visited on a cold day so the inside was very crowded. The layout of the facility doesn't really allow for a lot of seating or groups of people. Just something to keep in mind if you're with a large group. read more

My wife and I finally got to try this wonderful place out. It is one of the few breweries that is open most of the day. It also has a wonderful coffee bar as well. Not a huge selection of beers, but what they do make is wonderful, IPAs and stouts are on point! Really nice and chill ambience, and a pretty awesome burger food truck open at 11 AM the same days the brewery is open. The service was very laid-back and helpful. Super chill place, multiple people had brought their work there in the morning, so that's an option if you wanted to do that or just bring some friends and have a great time. I arrived too late in the day to order espresso from the coffee bar so the lady behind the counter offered cold brew as an option. I have tried many cold brews but this one was amazing. I admit I probably would never have gone here were it not for the collaboration with Hard Pressed Burgers. The burgers are indeed awesome, among the best in Jax. And it's quite civilized to order your meal from the food truck and then grab a beer (or cider) from a very diverse (and constantly rotating) lineup of sours, IPAs, stouts and pilsners. My only nit is that the beers I've had generally lack subtleties in their flavorings. I last had a stout that tasted like a coconut/coffee milkshake, way too heavy for my burger. My brother's hazy IPA , however, was excellent. On the plus side, they often have live music, there's plenty of seating and parking is pretty easy (for Jax Beach). This place is SO GOOD do you want beer or coffee? It doesn't matter. You can have both at 11AM. You know what you can also have? A good time with your friends in the back room playing games or watching a movie on their projector. And, you can look stylish in their custom merch and vintage rack of clothing. Surf board too. We went three times in five days. The service was awesome and cool and easy to have a conversation with. The beer was good but the coffee was even better. They invite in guest breweries and had coffee supporting breast cancer and people who were victim to the Hawaii fires (authentic recipes!) A really nice place to chill. They even have food trucks towards the end of the week from 6-9 serving smash burgers. Love this place and can't wait to go back when I'm in town again. read more

Love this spot! It has a cool vibe. When you walk in, there is a shop to the right with cool merch and vintage vinyls. If you continue walking through, you'll find yourself in a game room type space with a big screen, arcade style video games like Ms. Pac-Man and Galaga, and they also have plenty of seating in this room with various board games and even a giant table top connect four game. Going back to the front, there is a coffee bar and a beer and wine bar. Love all the local photography and art works displayed on the walls too. We ordered a vanilla latte and a lavender latte. Both were delicious. We will definitely return. Notes: Space is available for rent for private events. No food is served but we were told that we were welcome to bring outside food in to have while enjoying their beer or coffee. Check the schedule.
