But this place, I didn't even have to say anything. They knew it was a painful procedure. They offered me sedation, no argument no fight. I felt so safe there. I never felt so much relief. My pain finally was believed and taken seriously. The IUD insertion was so smooth with the medications, I didn't even notice they put it in. They then took me to a recovery room where they had recliners, heating pads and snacks ready. Please do yourself a favor and come here.

Procedure went very well where the communication between me and the staff was outstanding before, during and after the procedure and the staff and doctors were extremely professional, courteous, helpful and above all COMPETENT! Excellent follow up as well once we got home which was greatly appreciated. If anything of a serious note happened to us we always head to the UM hospital network in Ann Arbor as this is the best health care in Michigan for my money. GO BLUE!

I was extremely clear with the spelling of the missing person as well as personal information regarding an extremely special need adult with whom the missing patient is the guardian. Meaning without the U of M admitted patient, another life is at risk. Do you think the 2 guys that protect the U of M just forgot to call me back? What a gigantic joke. And extremely fortunate for them the patient was located and her SN family member has now been placed in a safe home. No thanks to the security. This center has a good system for COVID too - once you check in they assign you a seat. Your driver can also follow where you are in your procedure (still waiting, OR, etc) on a computer screen near the bathrooms too. Only reason I'm docking it 1 star is I had to wait a while before my procedure... Like 1-1.5 hours, while sitting there in a gown, and I had left my phone with my mom so it felt longer. Apparently they were a bit backed up (no pun intended...) that day though.

Huge mistake! I should have stopped a long time ago but everything happens for a reason. I called my primary care physician and requested one but they adamantly refused to give me one because I hadn't been seen for foot pain in her office. I find that completely ridiculous. UHS has such a comprehensive set of doctors all under one roof, which is super helpful for busy students trying to get everything done at the same place (e.g. GPs, eye doctors, radiology, physical therapy, dermatology, nutritionists, an on-site laboratory, and more). The office is also great about answering the phone and scheduling, and I was always able to get appointments within a week when I needed them. The online portal is super helpful as well.
