The only reason not to go to Anna is not wanting to look awesome. People (including other hair stylists) come up to me to compliment my hair and ask where I get it done. Even when I'm being sloppy on the weekend my hair still looks good. Anna listens to what I want and helps come up with cuts that work with my style and that is easy to maintain. read more

Anna always makes me feel at home! She is the only stylist that has been able to tame my salonphobia. I have a very thick, coarse and curly mane, but her expert advice makes it easy to maintain my curls at home too! Thanks Anna! read more

Anna is great! I've been going to her for over a year for my haircuts. She has been in the hair business for years and is very intuitive as to what looks great on me. I've had some fun haircuts over the past year and now she is helping me to get my hair exactly as I want it for me wedding next year. You should check her out! read more

History

Established in 2012.

I have been a licensed hair stylist for 14 years. I received my school training at Rob Roy Hair Academy in Worcester Ma. Once I had graduated I got my first job at Supercuts in Grafton Ma. I then worked at a few salons near my home town. When I decided I needed to take my career to the next level, I interviewed and got the job at Pyara Spa and Salon in Harvard Square. I trained there as I worked first as an assistant, then as a stylist. I fell in love with Aveda. I worked at Pyara for just under 5 years. From there I moved on and worked at Salon Luna in Porter Square. After about a year and a half at Salon Luna I decided it was time for me to be on my own. I got the job working at Novita Salon independently. I have been working for myself for almost 5 years now. I also work two days a week at Sereni Salon and Wellness Center in Hudson. This is an Aveda Concept salon that I have been employed at since February 2015.

Unfortunately I am not taking any new clients in the Cambridge area. August 28 will be my last day working at Novita and my last day working in Cambridge. I will start working full time at Sereni Salon in Hudson Ma come September. After working in Cambridge for 12 years and now having my beautiful daughter at home, I've decided to be in a salon much closer to home. I greatly thank and appreciate ALL of my clients that have been so loyal to me and followed me from salon to salon here in Cambridge.

She managed to have everything done within an hour before my college graduation in the comfort of her studio. Her family is so incredibly lovely and a joy to have a around. She made me feel so beautiful inside and out; as well as making me laugh a ton with her husband. The price was fairly reasonable for hair and makeup; it was a little over $100 but worth it once you see the finished look. She was also able to attach false lashes which is something that I found incredibly hard to do myself but she does it within 30 seconds! I love how the foundation she used on me wasn't heavy at all and the fact that she is so flexible to use any and all of her makeup kits was really awesome. I showed her a couple of pictures of what I wanted but I still wasn't too sure of what I wanted myself, she was so patient and pleasant helping me to choose the "look" that I wanted which she was able to perfect flawlessly!! I've been getting my hair done by Anna for over five years, and for over five years I've looked FAB-U-LOUS (at least, my hair has). She's colored my hair black, then to red, then to platinum, then back to black, then back to platinum (so on, and so on), and no matter what we put it through, in her expert hands my hair always ends up looking both healthy and gorgeous. Anna's also done all my haircuts, from my choppy pixies to my more subdued "soccer mom bob" (sometimes, you just have to look professional.. what can I say?). She also hooks up her clients with a complimentary bang trim or neck trim, and what is not too love about that? But wait.. THERE'S MORE! Anna has also styled my hair. Most notably, she have me the classic elegance and sophistication that I wanted for my wedding. My WEDDING people.. that's some trust, right there. So tell me, what are you doing right now? I have been going to Anna since I moved down to Massachusetts 4 years ago. Before moving I had never gone to a professionally run, city salon before and I will tell you it makes ALL the difference! Anna knows her clients, she can anticipate their wants, needs and desired results which, when it comes to hair, is a very important trait to have. In the time that I have been going to Anna she has done some drastic things to my hair, all of which were discussed and agreed upon before carry out and the execution was perfect!
