If I could give Anna more than 5 stars I would because she deserves it! We worked with Anna to do our engagement photos and for the day of our wedding. For the engagement photos, this was back in November 2023. She was already there when we arrived. Zach and I both felt so awkward and nervous since this was our first photo shoot, but Anna worked her magic and did her best to help us relax for the entire session. She's also a dog person so I was overjoyed that our dog was able to join us in these photos. After we saw the amazing engagement photos, I knew I had to secure her for our wedding day. Her response time is great as well; she will let you know when she is out of town and how long/when to expect a response from her. Our wedding was in mid-July 2024. Anna was there early again to scope out the wedding venue and checked in with both Zach and I the entire event. When I was having trouble walking in my dress, she was quick on her feet to help me. OMG ... Anna is an AMAZING photographer!! I did not know her before she became my wedding photographer, so this review is completely unbias!! I found her online after searching for a photographer for weeks. The minute I saw her gallery, I knew I had to have her!! My hubby and I set up an engagement photo session with her first. If we could give 10 stars, my wife and I would. My wife was the ultimate project manager for our wedding (although I did help, I wasn't a complete backseat planner), and photography was one of her tallest tasks. She wanted to find someone (after we located our venue) that could do landscapes (as we wanted a lot of outdoor photos with a view) had a strong portfolio, and overall just offered a good price of course. After tedious research, we came upon Anna and reached out. Incredibly, although our wedding was only six months out (quick engagement), she was free on our day. We set up a consultation and left knowing she was the one. She had experience doing tea ceremonies (traditional event on the Chinese side for the wedding), which was a huge plus, and had a great plan for how to have the best photos that day. She worked with us on the price too after some discussions about what we were looking for. Her partner Dino was w/me. Anna went w/my wife and her bridal party. He was unbelievable. I've never had photos taken like that before, so I had no clue about lighting, staging, action shots, etc. I had some specific shots I wanted captured, which Dino appreciated, and he also suggested some other really great images that day. He really took advantage of the good lighting in the room. I knew I was in good hands. Once we got to the venue for the rest of the photos before the tea and Western ceremonies, we took more action and other random shots with our families (as well as "First Look", etc). Overall, even though the weather was brutally hot (though admittedly not as bad as the days before), Anna and Dino were great in keeping cool (no pun intended, it was still a scorcher) and making sure all of the shots we wanted were taken. Dino even helped me with my boutonniere, which was a nice touch. Anna came prepared with everything, including a step ladder for the overhead shots of our entire blended family both before and after the ceremonies. She was also particularly stellar with staging our tea ceremony; she stepped in and took control when we asked her, since we relied on our videographer, who wasn't sure how to best set it up. Even though I am going to kick myself for awhile over not taking a picture with Steph Curry (who had just finished playing golf at our venue and was literally feet away from me), and looking down in just about all of my ceremony pictures (I blame it on my reflexes, and I guess nerves?), the photography was outstanding. They bared with us through the heat, and did their best to keep us calm when we took photos afterwards on a bridge swarming with flies. Anna even remembered to take a "tracking" shot my wife had wanted, even though my wife had forgotten about it. Anna climbed up a hill, behind a rock (!) and took a long distance shot of us. It was incredible commitment. Dino also was always right by her side, offering great suggestions and helping to always make sure we looked our best too. You can tell they have a great rapport; I particularly liked whenever they wanted us to do a particular pose or shot, they'd just imitate it with each other so we could see what it looked like. It's obvious they've worked together in the past, and it helped to always keep them on the same page. They were always open to any picture suggestions we had, and even came to get us during dinner to remind us we wanted some nighttime shots too (which required them to get in the field nearby, cross a street, and take pictures of us from a distance). Everyone commented how great the two of them were the entire day. Our only small note (but in no way should this deter you from using her services) was that we received a small sample of our photos around the seven week mark, about a week after the initial date we thought we'd get them. Not really a big deal, but I want to be totally transparent in my review. We were expecting all of the remaining photos the Wednesday after, and ended up receiving them on Thursday. Again, just one day late, and again, I really hate mentioning it, but wanted to be honest. I know photographers are busy though, so we rolled with it. Perhaps giving a longer due date is best for this just to manage everyone's expectations. Under promise and over deliver maybe? We were also a little stressed when we talked to her the night before the wedding; maybe that type of call can be scheduled a week before the ceremony in the future (I only mention we were stressed because we had a house full of guests and it was super loud and hot that entire weekend). We then received all of the photos via a very elegant flash drive engraved with our names and wedding date. It almost looked like a lipstick holder; it was all metal. Just a very nice touch to wrap up our entire wedding. Overall, we will definitely hire Anna for any future photography services. Her professionalism, helpfulness, and attention to detail is second to none, and her photos come out beautiful. I'd recommend her without hesitation. read more

Anna is the best! I hired her for my wedding a few months ago and her prices are pretty good. I'm a little particular about making sure the framing and the lighting is good. I really do not like those filtered looks that most other photographers use, most likely to cover up their errors. When I found Anna's website I knew she was it. Her portfolio was great. Anna is always very responsive to all my emails. She even wanted to checked out my venue beforehand to make sure she was familiar with it, which is great. The day of she showed up on time with Dino, her assistant photographer. I was expecting Dino to be more of an assistant, but he is just as good in his own right. I loved how I never had to ask them to do any shots, they just knew what to do. I had a list of all the family shots and different shots on the venue I wanted. Anna and Dino were able to capture it all. My family is huge and they were able to command everyone including the children for the family group photo. My night ran a little longer than the 8 hours I booked Anna for and she was ok with staying a little longer to get all the shots, which was great. My photos turned out amazing. I had over a 1000 photos and maybe only 2 of them were not that the great due to framing/lighting. That's pretty good for 1000+ photos! I ended up ordering prints from Anna directly. They cost a little more than if you were to print yourself, but she can photoshop everything and make the picture look even better. She also has great suggestions for size and material as well. Two minor things Anna could improve on: 1. She wanted a last minute call with us the day before our wedding to go over some of the details. It would have been nice if she prescheduled it with us beforehand, since the day before the wedding is a little crazy, especially with family in town. 2. She told us the photos would be ready in 6 weeks, but it actually took 2 months. She should have given herself more time and just told us 2 months. Overall, I would highly recommend Anna for any event. She really has the eye for it, she is patient, professional, and very responsive. Wish I had more events, so I could hire her for everything! If you are looking for a city hall wedding photographer look no further. Anna is an amazing photographer. I saw her photos through Pinterest and immediately knew she was the photographer for me. She knows the best spots around city hall and is very familiar with the process of the wedding ceremonies. In addition to being my photographer she's basically your guide for the day. Anna knows the lighting of the building and made sure we got to the best spots on time. I choose to get my license the same day and she was so helpful with how the process went and knew how much time we'd have in between appointments to take photos. If you're like me and feel stupid trying to pose for photos, go with Anna. She's a master of her craft and knows how to get you in the right pose.
