Okay, mistakes happen. I wasn't happy but they accommodated (after I told them I would not move the party because the invites were already sent and they contacted me 1 week prior). Then, we arrive at 2:45 (party was at 3). They said they would get our party host and get us to our space. At 3:00, guests started arriving and we were still waiting for our party host in the lobby. Mind you, still holding the cake and all our stuff to decorate, etc. I rejoined the line because I'm not waiting any longer at this point. Finally talk to someone at 3:04. And at that time, a girl walks in on her phone. Our party host . Then we get to our space and she couldn't find the light switch to turn on the lights, doesn't have the socks, doesnt have wrist bands, doesn't have the list of waivers, I could go on. The kids didn't get to play until like 3:45. Then they were called back for pizza and cake. And to top off the day, they made us leave at 4:30 as scheduled. I was embarrassed and pissed. I will mention to keep this story completely truthful, they gave us $60 off our bill of $300. Thanks..?

Children injured themselves on the zip line. I was approached by a woman who claimed to be part owner of the place and she asked me why "we" had called the owner and lied about the staff. May I add that she was also cursing when addressing me. Apparently the party hostess called the owner to address her concerns. Another parent asked that staff watch their language in front of the kids. The request set the staff off and things between staff and parents quickly escalated! The part owner of the place turned off the buildings breaker when another parent stated she was calling the police. Children were caught in the deflated bounce houses in the dark! Another parent had to turn the breaker back on because the woman refused to do so. I'm still stunned and angry at the lack of professionalism, blatant disregard for the children's safety, and the lack of empathy for the children who were screaming in fear! Myself and other parents had to pull children out and direct them to the party room for their safety. My son later told me that children were frightened because they thought the building was being robbed.

Had my child's birthday party here. It was pretty chaotic - they have you check in near the front…read moredoor area, which is a crowded and narrow hallway/stairway. There were probably 2 other parties going on starting at the same time, so it took several minutes to figure out what we were supposed to be doing. We were told to load our coats/shoes/gifts/party favors/cake on a big cart, which someone then took upstairs to the party room. When you do an open complex party, you can roam around the entire place: Main-floor gym - mostly gymnastics equipment, plus a climbing structure with a foam pit you can jump in. Upstairs play area - has two zip lines (not too high or too fast - the 6-year-olds in our group were fine on them), an inflatable bounce house, and some smaller climbing toys for toddlers. There's also a basketball court area, but our group didn't venture over there. The party area was clean. Tablecloths, plates and napkins were included in our package. We had pizza (decent - sort of reminded me of grade school cafeteria pizza, but the kids ate it anyway), and the kids could go and pick out a bag of chips and a drink. The favor bags included a plastic cup, pencil, a couple of pieces of candy, and a coupon for an open gym visit. The birthday girl or boy gets a tie-dye "party at the plex" t-shirt. So I'd recommend bringing your own favors! You supply your own cake. Birthday balloon bouquets can be added for $25. Tip: have your guests print/sign their waivers at home so the kids can get in and start playing more quickly.

The park is also very accommodating, with covered shelters that are great for relaxing or hosting small gatherings, along with conveniently located restrooms. One of the highlights is the splash pad which is perfect for cooling off on warm days and a big hit for the kids. What really makes this park stand out is the peaceful creek nearby. The sound of the water adds such a calming touch, making it a great spot to unwind and enjoy a beautiful day outdoors. It's the kind of place you can easily spend a few hours and not want to leave. Whitestown knows how to build parks. This is another great little park that serves the community…read more I'm guessing that the park is about 5 acres of mostly green space with a charming upscale small playground in the center. The green space has a cement walking trail that goes around perimeter to walk dogs or push strollers or wheel chairs. There were numerous birds out during our morning visit with our granddaughter. Nice benches line the walkway. There are dog stations for pet owners to clean up after their dogs. The green space can probably be used for soccer or football practice. The playground is really nice with a climbing and play structures that are ideal for 3-7 year olds. There is a really nice little "zip" line for the kids as well. The swing sets have infant seats and special needs seats that are covered by a shaded awning. There is a soft astroturf under the structures to cushion the kid's falls. There are three covered benches to watch the kids on the playground, but they could use a few more for us grandparents. Parking is a little unusual with a single one-way parallel parking lot on the east side of the park. There is bike parking as well. There are no restroom facilities (as the other parks have in Whitestown). My granddaughter had a blast and played for over an hour. Bring some water snacks and sunscreen for the kids.
