Anyway the facility has in indoor soccer fields, rock climbing facility and more. Both of my local granddaughters have taken sporting classes and attended birthday parties at the center. This weekend, I attended my granddaughter's soccer game. The inside smells a bit like gym socks, but the hard cider makes the smell tolerable. Spectator bleacher seating is uncomfortable, but the beer makes it tolerable. The place is loud, but the kids seem to be having fun, as was I. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. The parking lot is large enough. If you live in or near Carmel, you're bound to visit at some point.

I see deer roaming the grounds frequently while skating! So many activities including ice skating lessons, curling, hockey, date nights, student nights, and public skating. What a gem in Indy! My 4 year old daughter attended a birthday party at Gymnastics Unlimited today. The facility was…read moretidy and in good repair but seriously understaffed. There were two birthday parties occurring simultaneously, our group of 4 and 5 year olds along side another group of what appeared to be much larger older kids (maybe 8 or 9 year olds?) each group had well over a dozen members. The staffing was painfully sparse and consisted of merely a front desk woman and two teens on the gym floor. Upon arrival, we were greeted and immediately asked to fill out a waiver. I did inform the employee that this was our first visit. After receiving lack-luster instruction of rules and guidelines, we removed both mine, and my daughter's shoes/ socks, then headed to the tumbling room floor. Once on the floor, one of the teen employees approached quickly informing me, "All parents, except birthday child's parents, are to go upstairs in the viewing area." I was very hesitant to leave my 4 year old daughter and decided to mostly obey the girl's request by moving to the sidelines near the door. Once off to the side, I noticed NONE of the other 6 "non-birthday child parents" were asked to leave!! Not wanting to make a scene, I continued to watch carefully from the floor entrance. Here is what I witnessed: The teen girl employee only actively monitored one trampoline that was immediately in front of the foam pit. She repeatedly instructed my daughter to wait in line but did not appear at all concerned about how many children were already actually in the foam pit! I was very concerned because I did not want any of the little kids crushed by the much larger, considerably heavier older kids. While It is not reasonable to expect two girls to monitor a whole gym with over two dozen children running and jumping; it is also unreasonable to expect a small child to understand protocol and expectations in an alien environment. Why not allow parents to monitor their kids in an unobtrusive manner? Is it so difficult to also be consistent with the application of rules? I felt singled out, discriminated against and unwelcome. I had high hopes for Gymnastics Unlimited as a local, future scheduled, energy burn-off activity for my daughter but after today's off-putting experience, we will not be returning and would not recommend the facility to anyone wanting a safe experience for their young child.

I have attended two high school graduation ceremonies at this venue and both were really nice…read more There is ample parking and seating available, and we were able to invite as many members of our families as we wanted. I wish that they would make some kind of rule that people cannot reserve entire rows of seating for guests that have not yet arrived, but I suppose that is a personal preference. Their concessions were open, and they had a stand out front where you could buy flowers and mementos for the graduates, which I thought was nice. If you happened to be "up in the rafters" they also had huge screens where you could view the ceremony from the perspective of cameras that were strategically placed around the stage. Parking was $10, but I feel that it was well worth it to be able to have so many family members and friends with us on such a joyous day!

They do a step by step instruction class to properly put on the safety harness and helmet and make sure you know how everything should be tightened. There is a brief practice course with additional safety guidelines. My niece and I went to celebrate her 16th birthday, and she had an amazing time. We worked up a good sweat with the varying obstacles. I would highly recommend it to be able to spend some time outdoors. Make sure you bring plenty of water. You can take your backpack to the starting point they have benches set up where you can leave your gear , I noticed the family had purchased and they had brought lunch which I thought was a great idea. There are so many obstacle courses to go on and if your boys or anything like mine, they do not wanna leave!

The bumper cars are more like CrAzY cars, they don't always go in the direction you want them to... I'm not sure if that's on purpose or not but it made for some pretty hilarious videos! I pre purchased our tickets online, you can choose your day/time slot and it's $5 per person... when you arrive and check-in you're given a colored wrist band(every hour is a different color), then you wait in line for your turn on the ice. Once on the ice you bump and slide into other bumper cars for 5 min and then return to the end of the line... during our hour we had three turns on the ice. We did allow a few people to go ahead of us a few times so that we could all be on the ice at the same time, so if you have a smaller group you may have more turns on the ice than we did. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because during our hour random parts kept appearing on the ice: screws, brackets... they didn't pause to inspect the cars and during our last ride the motor fell off the bottom of the car my sister was in... This was something none of us had done before and was a lot fun! I'd definitely go again!!

It was difficult at first to know where to check in but after walking around for a couple minutes it was clear. The lines were long for the Bumper Cars but it moved quickly. We had the opportunity to go several times throughout the night. The food truck, A Small Town Throw Down, folks were super friendly. They offered food and hot chocolate and more. I posted the hours but I didn't see what days they have ice skating vs. Bumper Cars. You'll need to call. The Ice Rink is in Washington Township Park. It's a gorgeous park with many recreational opportunties. The park is 160 acres plus a preserved wooded area and a great deal of open green space. This park has so many incredible amenities. There is a 24 foot Gazebo, two playgrounds, a sand volleyball court, horseshoe pits, a basketball court, a splash pad, 4 covered picnic facilities, and an outdoor fitness station. If that's not enough to get your interest then let's talk about these amenities. The Pavilion Center is where the office is. It is also an Event Center that can be used for indoor weddings/events, a Paw Park with 3 separate fenced in areas for all size of dogs. 5 plus miles of trails and of course the historic 1876 Whipple Iron Truss Bridge. Lots of activities for any ages. It can be a quite sanctuary or a space to be very active. Stop by this gorgeous park and find your favorite activity and don't forget the Bumper Cars.

I'm reality, the "teachers" (who are all just high school students) demonstrated the skill once, and then my child was left lost as she was told to repeat the skill x10. She had a ton of fun, which is the most important, I understand she's a child, but I was just expecting more coaching from her "coach". The campus is very clean, nice parent section, it's located in a good part of town. Overall, if she would like to do it again, I may consider it. But I would not recommend this facility to another parent.
