Annabella's is a nice antique & craft shop that's a short drive from Grand Rapids. Annabella's is well worth the trip if you're in the Grand Rapids area or if you're driving east on 2. They aren't a full-fledged coffee shop anymore. But they do sell coffee. I'd say they're about 80% antiques. The rest of the store is comprised of local crafts, local food items (like syrups, teas, jam, wild rice), hand-made soap, candies, etcetera. The staff (and the customers) were all very nice and funny. We bought a few things and we had fun talking about antiques. Make sure you check the hidden "escape tunnel" in the basement! When my wife and I travel, we make a point of going to the local-est looking local places we can find. This place is why. I can't resist getting ribs at these tiny restaurants when they are offered, and each time is more amazing than the last. The highlight this time was the spice rub. I love me my sloppy saucy smoky spicy messy ribs, but when the meat is featured with an amazing rub and light sauce it's a totally different experience. Another highlight was the homemade soup of the day my wife got. Not a lo of conversation at the table when both people at the table are blissing out over the food. This place also happens to be the biggest/coolest antique stop within an hour's drive of Grand Rapids. Believe me, we hit them all. We should have started with this one and just stayed. read more

Prices are reasonable, and the friendly staff will go out of their way to help you.
