I guess there are two systems you can take advantage of: drop off or do-it-yourself. 1) There is a drop off service for wash and fold. They have a handful of super friendly staff greeting you at the door always ready to help. 2) Or you can do it yourself! The prices vary for different sizes of machines (ranging from $2.75 ~ 8.75 for washers / $0.30~0.45 for dryers for 8mins) It is just a tad bit more expensive than your average apartment laundry machines but this place is so clean! They also have newer machines! Also, if you come on a weekday the dryers are free! Free! Yes, free! And they are open 24 hours! Hallelujah! Convenience! They're also conveniently located by a grocery store, nail salon, restaurants, and a cafe. So you wont be bored while waiting for your laundry. There are large to very massive sized dryers as well. Note: The newer, shiny industrial size dryers are hot! I put in a queen sized comforter and it was dry in less than 15 minutes. I would start with 10 minute intervals and add quarters as needed. I almost put in 40 minutes worth of quarters which would have been way too much. The machines operate on coins only, specifically quarters. There is a change machine on hand to break down small bills up to a $20 bill into quarters. They have a laundry service as well. I noticed people dropping off and picking up their laundry. Not too crowded on a Sunday afternoon. Very pleased. In addition, there are more than 6 casual dining places within the same plaza, so you can grab a bite to eat while waiting for clothes to wash and dry.

I'm very sad because I only picked this place since it was closer to my house but there is a better place in Alexandria that would clean them up properly. There are different-sized washers and dryers, and plenty of seating available. It is bright and cheery with large stuffed animals on top of the appliances. The staff is friendly and sweet (when it was pouring outside, they offered me a huge umbrella and a plastic bag to cover my freshly-laundered items - how wonderful is that?!), and they also have Styrofoam cups for your quarters. There is another location off of 7, but I feel as if that one is very busy and there is usually a wait time for an appliance to become available. This place also serves drop-off laundry services. I like the rolling carts that you can utilize to carry your load and detergents with ease from the parking lot as well as to and from the washer and dryer. I used Yelp to reach out to a number of Wash/Dry/Fold places. Clean All was quick to respond and offered very reasonable rates. They even made suggestions for me to pass on to the repair people. I guess that makes sense because people who run laundromats have lots of with broken equipment. Anyway, I dropped off a bunch of laundry and it was clean, dry, and folded the following morning. They did a great job and even listened to my requests for some minor special handling. While I was there, I learned they also wash larger items, like weighted blankets, take in dry cleaning, and do alterations. Frankly, before this I never even realized they were there, and I've gone past there store 100s of times. I'll certainly use them for WDF the next time I need it. That may be in a few days since, sadly, the circus is still in town.
