I brought my niece in to get fitted for a flower girl dress that I bought several sizes too big (it was such a good deal, I couldn't pass it up). The woman I spoke with (new owner I assume) was very honest and open about what would need to be done. Absolutely no surprises. I knew exactly what to expect when I went to pick it up and she was spot on. It was a difficult dress to work with, and it was explained to me in depth before I left it with them. I was not pressured to move forward with the alterations once the fitting was over and I appreciated that. I did however move forward with getting the alterations feeling very confident after the explanation I received. When I picked it up the dress wasn't perfect, but looked exactly how it was explained to me it would look. My point in this review is 1) Service is exceptional 2) you are told exactly what to expect even if not perfect so you can make a truly informed decision 3) prices are reasonable 4) quick turnaround I highly recommend this tailor. She even took a vintage, wool, pleated skirt that was three sizes too small and made it fit! Not only do I trust her work, she is fast and more than reasonably priced. AND she's a sweetheart!
