Professional receptionists, very clean waiting area and exam rooms, and little waiting time before seeing the doctor. Had issues with check in. They didn't tell me the office closed for lunch. I'm disabled and had to stand in the hall for 15 mins till they opened the door. The doctors were wonderful though and very knowledgeable. Staff that I met were very pleasant and helpful as well. Took care of the skin issue I was seeing them for. Horrible experience. Entire office sitting area packed. We've been waiting for over 7 hours. If you care about your loved one at all, never come to this place. Rude staff only on their personal phones scrolling and ignoring patients. No where to sit and told we were "in the way" by an associate. Worst experience ever. Literally- go ANYWHERE else. read more

I honestly can't say enough good things about this particular clinic!!From the moment I walked in, the front desk staff greeted me with the warmest smiles and made me feel like family (I think one of their names is Kim, who was the kindest person ever)The waiting area is spotless, modern, and actually relaxing--no stale magazines or awkward silence here! The on staff esthetician is a literal SKIN WHISPERER. She took so much time listening to my concerns (adult acne + years of sun damage from Hawaiian summers), explained everything in a way that actually made sense, and created a customized plan that's already working wonders after just a few weeks. No upselling, no pressure--just genuine care and expertise. The nursing staff are simply Angels on earth. Gentle, funny, and ridiculously skilled. My chemical peel was painless, and they gave me the best post-care tips (plus samples!) so I didn't have a single flaky day. read more

I went to Anne Arundel Dermatology for a regular examination. It turned into my worst possible nightmare. Now they are lying to cover their tracks. And here is the latest twist. They had their attorney send me a very threatening letter in an attempt to prevent me from placing bad (yet very accurate) reviews online. They now have really reached their lowest blow. I was rushed through and when I expressed my concern they dismissed it and told me maybe I should select another doctor in the practice next year for my scan. Their phone/message system needs some updating. No one answers to phone. The message system seems to not work. I tried to cancel an appointment; but, after sending the message on their system, I keep getting text and email reminders. read more

The practice is totally inaccessible. All of the offices are referred to one phone number and they don't pick up the phone. After waiting for over 20 minutes for human being I gave up. It seems like they might want to charge my insurance for a missed visit but you can't report it anywhere there's no way to do that. I would describe their phone service as a shitshow. read more

Visit went fine. The check in computer system was cumbersome, but it seems to be the new thing at the medical offices. After my biopsy I received a voice mail message and was unable to respond. The phone system is routed to a message service that handles service in offices for several states. Waited for 30 minutes to get through and they forwarded my office to call me back. Four days later I received an email with my biopsy results. One line no explanation. I had to refer to a dictionary to surmise my results. Totally unacceptable, I needed to talk to a real person. Sorry that a office that was so professional during my exam has lousy communication protocalls. read more

I see there are several poor reviews. Today's visit made me realize I will never go back. When I arrived at 10:40 for my 11:00 app't, I was given a computerized questionnaire to complete about my medical history (this despite the fact that I had been to this office at least 5 times in the past. For someone with limited technical ability, the questionnaire was poorly put together and was confusing. Consequently, I was not able to complete it without help from one of the persons at the front desk. However, it took me forever to do it and consequently, I did not get into the office to meet with Amy Spangler until after 12:00 noon and the examination was not completed until about 12:15. I had complained about the time expended but was told by the red-haired front desk person that I couldn't be brought to the examination room until I completed the questionnaire. I am through with AA Dermitology. I hate to leave the care of Amy Spangler but I feel I was mistreated by the front desk person (redhead). My time is important to me and I don't care to sit in a doctor's office waiting for an hour and 40 minutes. read more

The staff at the front desk has always been kind and helpful. Today I was getting annoyed, because for days before my appointment I was getting constant texts reminding me about the appointment and to arrive 15 minutes early and if I missed the appointment they would charge me $50. My appointment was at 2:45. I arrived at 2:30, filled out all the paperwork (again- every time you go there you have to fill out the same paperwork) and sat back and waited. At 3:35 I went up to the front desk and said I've been sitting here for an hour what's going on. She went in the back to find out, came back and said "you know we're having trouble today because we have a new system and it's been difficult all day with paperwork but you're next on the list." I said it would've been nice If you mentioned that delays were expected when I signed in. I was on my "late" lunch break and had to leave. I said I would like to talk to the manager. I'd like to be reimbursed for my time. If I missed your appointment you would charge me $50. Well you missed my appointment! I expect to be reimbursed. And that's when she got a little nasty. Fortunately, went to the grocery store after that and ran into an old friend who recommended a different dermatologist office, and I am going to give them a try. My time is just as important as anybody else's. read more

I went to see Dr Germanas for a routine skin exam. After waiting for over 30 minutes to see him, I was finally able to see him. He was rude, insulting and spent roughly 5 minutes with me. I asked him to look at a specific condition which he briefly looked at. He asked how long I had this condition, which has been several years. At this he almost berated me for not coming in sooner. Then he didn't address my concerns and told me to wear a hat and keep an eye on it. Poor and unacceptable care. However, what really made me frustrated was that while I was waiting a Pharmaceutical rep stopped by with lunch. So, was I waiting 30 minutes while he was eating a free lunch?! I am so happy having found this dermatology group! Having been to others in the past, I can say how thankful I am for a group who is kind and cares. I see Catalina Lehrer, MMS, PA-C and she is FANTASTIC!!! You can tell she cares and is thorough and is wonderful at what she does. Needing to get regular skin checks, I trust her and she takes the time to make sure my scar from surgery will be minimal and at least pretty to look at. Her team; Rowan and McKenzie are wonderful as well! They all just care and help ease the stress of surgery. Honestly, can't say enough good things about them. You will not regret having this team and if you need a dermatologist I highly recommend! read more

I was recommended hear by Dr. Germanas to have skin cancer removed from my ear. Dr. Dolan and his staff made the procedure as smooth and relaxing as could be. They had a recovery waiting area that was comfortable and even had a variety of snacks and drinks for the several hours that I was there. I felt they were always professional and polite and explained everything to ensure I was always well informed. I would recommend them highly to my family and friends. read more

My husband went to see Dr. Dawn for a lump next to his eye. She took a sample and said she would call with the lab results, in the meantime apply a warm compress to the lump. He had already been applying a warm compress before he went to see her. He called once a week to check on the results but was told every time that they were not in yet. It has now been over a month and he still has not heard about the lab results. The lump has been slowly going down on it's own but is not gone yet. Who knows how he got it or what it is because they said they wouldn't know until the results are in. That is terrible service. read more

I was very pleased with the service that I received. I am very disappointed that I cannot use the patient portal without changing my browser. I use many other patient portals and never had this problem. They need to upgrade their system to give better access to the patient portal. read more

I saw Dr. Germanas for a skin exam. I didn't feel like I got a thorough exam and I found him downright rude. I would never go back. Find someone who can treat you and your questions with courtesy at least. read more
