About 5 years ago I decided I needed more personal attention to my medical care and I knew Mei-Ling was the one for me. She is excellent at diagnosis, which is the bottom line most important thing you want when you leave a doctors office. I also have another primary care doc at ucsf but that's become a very difficult place to get attention, so I save him for when I already know what's wrong and need a scan or something similar to really define a problem. I also think the specialists at ucsf are among the best, but some of our locals are actually former ucsf staff members. Mei-Ling for example worked there prior to starting her own practice. Anyway, for too many reasons to enumerate I think if you aren't getting adequate attention to your needs, contact her regards her concierge service. It adds a bit of cost, but I've found it more than worthwhile to have a first quality doctor who will call back within an hour or so.

Dr. Tagliaferri listened to my concerns, asked key questions, and then thoughtfully explained potential diagnoses...it was easy to speak to her and I could clearly understand what she was thinking. I really appreciated that she did not dismiss my concerns because I am an atypical patient; she was very thorough. I am so, so glad I went to see her because I was referred (very quickly due to Dr. Tagliaferri's perseverance - she got my appointment moved up by a week and a half!) to a top-notch cardiologist who is very concerned about ruling out a serious issue. She even told me questions that I should ask the cardiologist! I'm sorry if you're stressed and don't have enough appointments to go around. It's just a demoralizing experience to have sarcasm, rudeness and impatience creeping into just about every single conversation I've ever had with this office. It's like these people don't even LIKE dealing with patients, that much is clear. I don't know why they sign more and more people up with the doctor you have because the result is, it's a month's wait at least to see your own doctor even if the matter is urgent. Their website advertises 'world class care'. They forgot that you have to actually talk to someone to access this care when they wrote that statement. This health system is very broken.

I did t have my insurance card, rather, I had to find a picture on my phone of the card. Right at 3:30 ( my appointment tine) the doctor comes out and tells the front desk to reschedule me as too much time is already passed and we won't get anything done. They wanted me to come back for the next available appointment: in 3 months! I was able to get in at another doc in only 2 weeks. And, I offered to pay cash for my first visit....not an option....

Every medical concern we've had was always addressed. All the doctors we've seen have been very compassionate and listen to what our concerns were. I love how easy the doctors are to talk to. Your doctor should be like your friend. In the way that you should be able to talk to them about everything and anything of concern. Their 24/7 availability is amazing! Whether it be through video zoom, or in person. They have several locations to choose from, if you're in need of immediate care. If a specialist is needed for any reason, referrals are quickly made. Love how convenient and easy access to park and get seen quickly. Office staff is very friendly. One medical is wonderful, because they have many practitioners to choose from and many locations. Her bedside manner is great and she is very thorough in her diagnoses. She literally saved his life years back when he had to have an emergency surgery. Now she does his annual care and he continues to rave about her care. The building is very clean and everyone who works here is very pleasant. There's a pleasant and inviting yet professional waiting room with a surprisingly good selection of magazines. Not that I base my choice of doctors on something like that... If she didn't have such a long waiting list - I would request Dr. Clark-Sayles as my primary care physician. She's warm and nice to talk to, and I would trust her to find anything wrong with me.
