After trying to explain each month I can hardly walk or even stand up she told me cardio would help. This appointment made me feel so hopeless, I've never cried in a doctors office until yesterdays appointment. She told me she "didn't want me to feel like she was just throwing a pill at me" but that's exactly what happened. I wasn't able to explain myself, and I think it really comes down to me being young. I'm only 20, but I know my body, I've been going through my cycles for nearly 9 years, and I didn't feel heard. I tried to make it clear that my menstrual cycle is nearly tearing my life apart and I don't even know if I can make it through another month, but she told me to come back in 4 months to see if anything changed. I tried being as open minded as possible, and I understand that she is busy, but this just added to my negative experiences of women's health care. This doctor would be great for someone looking for reassurance that they're healthy, but if you feel that something is wrong, based off my experience, I would NOT recommend this doctor. Unfortunately, especially if you are young :(

I came to Dr. Butler with concerns about chronic pain in my vulva. Over the course of the ten minutes she spent we me she proceeded to blame my recent weight gain, tell me I was "being dramatic", and condescend to me for using the wrong medical terms about a condition I did not know about until that visit. On top of her overall horrible bedside manner, she was unnecessarily rough while examining me causing me to cry out in pain. When I did so she asked me why I was acting like I was in pain despite the fact that I was there because of pain in my vulva. After having complications with a medication she prescribed me I returned to the office to find out what was wrong. After waiting with my clothes off for a full half hour she chided me for returning over something "so minor" and then preceded to act as though I was making up that she prescribed me the medication that cost me $120 with insurance. When she finally found the note that she had in fact prescribed this medication she completely dismissed my concerns. I have now left her office crying twice because of her rough treatment and I advise anyone looking for a gyno in the city to steer clear.

Don't even think to ask a question like, what does this test mean and where do I call to make this appointment? I made an appointment with the hospital to get tests done that they ordered. Two weeks later, the Friday before my Monday appointment at 3:00pm the hospital called saying they wouldn't do the test because the doctor's office hadn't sent in approval to my insurance. I called the doctor's office and the lady who answered essentially told me it wasn't worth her time to work on it because it wouldn't be approved today. I originally went in for what I thought might be a gall bladder issue. The NP felt my stomach, told me it was absolutely not my gall bladder, and ordered several tests. When I returned with the results, she told me she was ordering a gall bladder test. I feel that this entire office is completely inept and they don't want to deal with patients. The bedside manner could use a total overhaul. Unfortunately, this is the only place close that takes my insurance, so I'm screwed. I can only hope they get enough negative reviews to make a change.

I had an appointment at 9:30 and Dr. Tanveer did not show up and Sue did not inform us that the doctor will not be in and/or late. When calling the office you get an answering service that supposedly takes messages. I have had a terrible experience overall with this office and I would not refer an enemy to her office. If you have a complaint/concern, there is no feedback or no one to speak with except Sue ( office manager) and she is apparently the problem. If you know someone has an appointment for a Depo why would you waste a person time and gas and not have the medicine in the office. I am so glad that there are other medical offices to choose from and PEOPLE PLEASE DO NOT GO THERE!!!

Dr. Kelly is a godsend! My parent's were referred to Dr. Kelly after their doctor re-focused most…read moreof his time on hospital administration. Personally, I think it was the best thing that ever happened to them. My parents are older and have had their fair share of health crises over the years - cancer, staph, pneumonia, asthma you name it - and Dr. Kelly has always treated them right. My mom, suffers from severe asthma, and often has respiratory-related scares. Dr. Kelly has been fabulous at squeezing her in for a quick check rather than unloading her on the nearest ER. Dr. Kelly earns a fifth star from me for going above and beyond the call of duty. She makes house calls, you heard me, house calls! My dad had a knee replacement a few years back and was working with his physical therapist to get back on track; Dr. Kelly decided he wasn't progressing enough and could benefit from more therapy. Instead of offloading these increased sessions on the therapist she came to their house and worked with my dad. It was amazing and so appreciated by my mom since getting my dad out in the middle of winter while he was unsteady on his feet was not only a chore, but very anxiety ridden. I think now enough time has passed that he'll admit how beneficial this was to his recovery. At the time he winced at the thought, she's a tough cookie and really made him work. Bottom line: Dr. Kelly is amazing! My parents can't say enough good things about her and trust me, my dad is a tough customer, he won't sing the praises of just anyone. Even though I live relatively close, knowing that she's treating them puts my mind at ease, she really seems to care about her patients and get them the best care possible.
