I went to this doctor because of the few positive reviews I read. I was hopeful. Got an appt…read morequickly, tests ordered quickly, really felt like he was listening. My symptoms are so bad, I can't drive. He decided it was inflammation and gave me prednisone, which finally gave me some minor relief. After paying for expensive CT and MRI scans and coming back clean, the doctor said to take some over the counter Sudafed and Allegra. What a joke. I still can't drive because of vertigo, the ringing in my ears is getting louder, my headaches are so severe I have nausea, I can barely breathe because of congestion, and I can hardly finish a sentence because of brain fog. It took me a half hour to write this stupid review. Hopefully it will save someone else the disappointment of going to this doctor. 2 months and $6k wasted on this doctor. I'm exactly where I started, self medicating with Sudafed and Zicam.

All the nurses are friendly and kind. They answer any questions you may have as well. The receptionists are also very helpful and friendly. She has 2 locations, the other is in Oak Park right next to Nandos. On my first visit we did several skin tests and the ones marked positive we did an under the skin injection. I'm so happy I found Dr. Shah!

Just sent us on our way and told us to check in in 5 more days if things hadn't gotten better. Told my child that her symptoms did not fit any of those. A wasted appointment, more missed days of school, and now an additional trip to an Urgent Care that WILL test as needed. After calling the office, I was told "That doctor does not generally test" and "Each doctor has their own way of doing things." Dr. Haukness is not our usual doctor there and we would never have gone to see her had we known in advance there was such a difference in care (which diverges from what most doctors do / recommend). Insult to injury: I'm sure we'll still be charged for this worthless visit.

I think we called at the right time. Our main provider, Dr. Turk, is awesome. She takes as much time as is needed, she is extremely caring and seems to understand our concerns perfectly. We love their setup regarding sick visits and urgent/non-urgent call system. Our youngest daughter is only six weeks old at the time of writing this review. Overall, she is healthy, but she did catch a virus and ended up hospitalized one night when she was four weeks old. We brought her in for a sick visit when the symptoms were minor and first presenting. I was so impressed that Dr. Turk called the very next day, after the visit, to check on our daughter's progress. The first symptoms were relatively minor (still scary in that young of a baby). Unfortunately, they worsened. However, the practice was so accommodating and took the initiative to continue contacting us once they were aware of the problem. Dr. Wegner saw us for the second sick visit and correctly advised us to bring her to Northwestern, where she was inpatient for a night. The practice was then very proactive in continuing to follow up with contacting us upon discharge to check in with how our baby was doing. I was extremely impressed and grateful for the care this practice provided, and continues to provide, to our family.

He poked and prodded and left - and then the "real " doctor came in. His name is Nicolas Anderson and he is not a good doctor. He really didn't have any idea what he was doing. He gave me a sleeve for my leg and told me to start wearing compression socks. He charged me over 100 bucks (that was after my insurance). I went back for a follow-up and he had me wait for an hour - just for a five minute chat where he said "We really can't do anything for you," Then he had the assistant strap some plastic things to my feet with ace bandages. I told her it hurt and she said - no it's okay. I said, "No. This really hurts." She pretended to shift it then she left me alone in the room. After all was said and done - that cost me another hundred - after my insurance and my leg still has not been healed or treated. This place is a rip off. Stay away from there. Find a Boy Scout who needs a first aid badge. He is better than this fraud Anderson. Truly the worst.

Pay very close attention to your billing statement and what they are charging you specially for self pays client's & also what is billed to your insurance for. I am a self pay and I have several times said Do Not bill my old insurance. They did it anyway. And we agreed to a lesser charge for a boot, but now Im billed again full price. On top of that. I'm billed $1800 for a diagnosis only. No treatment, no surgery, no meds, no shot, no tape or bandage, just x-ray's (also billed separate for). $900 each just for Dr to SAY, I have 2 fractures= $1800. Dr's, great care. They have no control of billing or so Im told. So its the establishment and billing that really manipulates and over bills the insurance and patients. So done w over billings and manipulation.
