She…read moresteadfastly refused to listen to my syptoms and resolutely believed every symptom (including some she made up right in front of me) was GI-related. In fact, when I complained of reoccuring pelvic pain following the birth of my son, she took an x-ray of my GI tract and tried to convince me that the pain I was having was gas and stool. Great, except that at the time of the appointment I wasn't having pain so even if there was gas and stool in my intestines, it wasn't painful. However, she wouldn't listen and insisted that I had irritable bowel syndrome. After several visits, at which I was ridiculed and treated in a condescending nature, I switched to a new doctor who was able to appropriately diagnose and treat my non-GI issues. Be warned, she pretends to listen, but creates intestinal fantasies in her head.

The entire staff there is very professional and caring. They know most of their patient that walks thru the door. I have been going to doctor Leung for close to 20 yrs. My entire family goes to him. He's not your typical Internal Medicine doctor. He always goes above and beyond for his patients. He is respectful and listens to your concern. Even thou he is knowledgeable in all aspect, if he knows you have an issue that is beyond his expertise...he will refer you to the best specialist in town. My father had thyroid gland issue and he referred him to a specialist that was able to take care of that. I had broken my wrist and he referred me to the best well known orthopedic surgeon that teaches UM Medical students on hand surgery. My point to this is that he will help you at all cost. This time I really did my research and found this place right in my neighborhood with three locations that all happen to be convenient for me. The office can get a little bit disorganized, but they are unbelievably nice. It's also helpful that they are open in six days a week with my sadly unforgiving work schedule. My doctor is so professional, knowledgeable and helpful. I got testing for a condition that I suspected for years. And they've been extremely helpful with the referrals. I'm hoping to stay with them for a long time. This practice has been life-saving to me.
