I was very disappointed with the services that were offered. First of all, it was very difficult to understand what she was saying, due to the language barrier. 2nd - with the consultation, the appointment took all of 30 minutes. the subsequent visit took only 15 minutes including the in room survey. The 'acupuncture' that they use here is not your traditional.(at least not what i experienced). After filling out their survey, she did a treatment on me. She was using an 'acupuncture' tool where it acts like the needles, however it is not a single needle. it is sort of like it is just tiny pricks to your skin within the pressure points. It also did not make sense to me that she was doing it numerous times (over 100) in 3 areas on the right side of my body when the area of pain was my left elbow. After the first 2 visits (paid for 3 with Groupon), i figured it was not worth going back as it was not doing anything, and it was just a waste of my 15 minutes. I am more for the traditional type of Chinese Acupuncture compared to that of Korean Acupuncture. (personal preference).

I was hopeful when first visiting him that he would help my pain. My insurance accepted his treatments which made it a low cost option. Unfortunately, after four treatments, I experienced no pain reduction, Potentially even a slight increase in pain. I think I am just a bad candidate for acupuncture. Dr. Jee told me that he had a hard time feeling my pulse and determining which body type I fell into. He tried two different body types. Maybe if I kept going he would have found the right one. But it just started to feel helpless. So I elected to have a microdiscetomy procedure to fix the underlying issues medically. If you are looking for an acupuncturist, he may be a reasonable option. But his treatments last just a few minutes compared to the normal 30-60 min procedures of a traditional acupuncturist. Has he figured out some new secret to a several thousand year old art? Or is he just trying to maximize the patients he can see and charge within his working hours? I can't answer that question. Just know it didn't help with my condition.
